I really enjoy my stay at Austin Paradise. I booked during the GE day. The location is good, near to restaurants and malls (umall and aeon taman universiti). the room and toilets are very clean. the facilities are all in the good condition. staffs are also very helpful and friendly.

Exceptional”

Nice budget hotel in Skudai area. Room was clean and well maintained. A bit uncomfortable with semi-transparent toilet wall/door otherwise room was good. Nearby Aeon Taman U and Masjid atTaqwa (both <5km). Lots of eateries around Taman U and also in Aeon. Lift provided for easy access to rooms.

Clean & comfortable stay”

The hotel is nice and comfortable. It is a couple of shoplots located in a residential garden (Taman). The greatest challenge was finding the place as it does not show in GPS. We wrongly drove to the Austin Paradise in Tmn Austin first. We were then informed by the staff there that this hotel was in Taman University, just after AEON Taman University. Other than the trouble locating it, the stay was pleasant & comfortable. There are also lots of eateries close by and it was relatively easy to drive to touristic spots around JB from there

Nice budget hotel. Clean room. Quite uncomfortable with semi-transparent toilet door. Otherwise ok. Near Aeon Taman Universiti (<5m) and lots of eateries nearby within short drive. Overall nice stay for short period for us.

Pleasant surprise”

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. It was a last minute decision since it wasn't part of the hotel list provided by the conference. I was hesitant since it looked far from from the main strip. It was a short 10min. walk under tree shaded sidewalks. The hotel doesn't have dining options but beside or just across from it are delicious and cheap restaurants. If you want to get real Malaysian food, these are the places to go to. The room itself was spacious and large. The shower/bathroom was really nice. Maybe the only downsides are that the windows are not that sound-proof when closed. A tree outside was a bird roost and it did become noisy. It didn't bother me but it might others.

Pleasant stay”

The hotel was clean and there was free wifi. It is well located. Jusco is a 2 min drive away while food at the Taman University vicinity is about 5 to 10 mins drive.

cozy and comfortable”

Very pleasant and relaxing, ease of access to the University, very near to shopping complexes, located within residential area, makes it easy for meetings and gatherings. The hotel is very clean, very good staffs and cleaners. we had kids along and the room was cleaned very neatly when we came back. highly recommended for no fuss short stay.

Good value for money”

Enjoyed the stay for the price paid. We managed to get the room with small window (half of the rooms come with windows). Rooms are quite new, bathroom was nice. Staff were friendly.

The hotel and staff are great.. but the hotel near the straight road.. at night it bit noisy when mat rempit with it loud motorcycle thorough the road..

Good location”

The hotel is located at the business centers. I can find stores and restaurants which are open 24 hours. The room is small but it's enough for transit 1-2 nights. Value for money. I recommend this hotel for a transit.

overall for this hotel is good due to the price and local restaurant is around the hotel and also got shopping center is near too. if for business trip is good and must have your own transport.

Not so great..”

Dragging my suitcase across the hallway to my room you can already fell the uneven surface of the marble floor hidden before the thin carpet. Room was okay, exactly like in the picture. Big and clean. And seriously power outage the next day at 9.30 a.m where you'll be very busy getting ready to pack and clean yourself up. I doubt I would visit this hotel again.

more like a business hotel”

The hotel looks kind of new, and they got elevator even though its only a 2 story building. The room is a bit small, not much room for your big bags. Linen smell nice, and bed was comfy. No restaurant in the hotel but some of foods court across the street open 24h. Since its very close to the road, the rooms facing the road can be really noisy, specially during the weekend.

Stay was pleasant, staff was very helpful, changed one of my rooms without obligation as it was a smoking room.

VERY GOOD”

The room was good above my expectation. This is very value for money but got marker/pens stain on my bedsheet just small one, not affected my comfortability at all. Definitely will go for twice. The staff was very nice and friendly. They got water refill, lift, hot water. Just my hairdryer is working for 2-3 minutes and start working back after 2-3 minutes. Parking was very many and spacey. Everything is good..

Room though small was very comfortable. the shower was an overhead one and not adjustable and it is not good for ladies.

Worth the money”

Pros: Nice bed, clean room and bathroom, good staff, new hotel. Cons: Room a bit small, not sound proof. Overall worth the money for a budget hotel.

Overall ok”

Overall this hotel is ok. I am impressed that there is lift facility in this double story building. Although the room is small but comfort and value for money. Soundproofing system needs to be improved for the rooms facing the main road.
