Pretty Decent”

I was walking the Tokaido from Tokyo to Kyoto when I stayed at Hotel Crown Hills Toyokawa. I wasn't seeking to stay around this area. I ended my daily walk near Goyu Station and this area was the closest place with hotels. I was happy the hotel had a public bath where I could soak my legs. The bath is the same for women and men, just for use at different times. It's relatively small, but was clean and comfortable, and had a sauna attached. I needed to do laundry that night, and the facilities were up on a floor that it seemed no one was staying on because all the lights were off except for the laundry room. It was really creepy each time I went. The laundry room was dirty with weird ink stains on the walls. The washers took 40 minutes and the drier I gave up on after an hour and a half (100 yen per 30 min), so I was pretty tired after laundry. While brushing my teeth, a big bug came crawling out from behind the mirror. A hearty breakfast was included, but I left with mixed feelings

Nearest to Train station”

When booking the hotel, non-smoking room was not available. However, as need juz for 1 nite therefore go ahead to book. However, when checking in, I asked if any non-smoking room available and the staff without hesitation helped check and changed a non smoking room for me. Really glad and thankful to the staff.

We had a terrible one night stay at this hotel which is dirty specially buddings and bathrooms without proper maintenance. Do not recommend for a family travelling with young children
