Amazing”
Best hotel we stayed in so far! Yes, it’s a love hotel, we figured that out when arriving at the hotel, but the facilities in the rooms are amazing! We had a jacuzzi and a massage chair, karaoke and could watch movies via a beamer on the large wall opposite the bed. Definitely recommend, it’s so cheap for what you get! Only downside, it’s quite hard to reach by foot. There is no footpath next to the road, so you have to walk around which takes sometime from the nearest busstop, especially with heavy backpacks

Awesome Hotel that the GPS wont lead you to”
Pros- Massage Chair, Giant Jaccuzi, Giant Projector, Karaoke Cons- Location. GPS does not know how to conviently lead peope there. When I went, I took bust 160 to a stop that was on the side of the highway. You can immedialy go up some stairs and you are in residential. The GPS makes it look like you need to walk on a highway, but you actually walk on the streets under it. It is not hard to get to if you know the way, but it took me hours to figure it out. Theres a convience store and McDonalds 10 min away, but the gps does not tell you about them unless you're out of the premise.

An exceptional high quality and luxury hotel”
It is an unbelievable and luxury hotel. Room is sizable, with a king size bed. Full set of entertainment equipment is offered in the room, eg. microphone for karaoke, electronic games, screen projector, massage sofa and etc. It is very clean; toilet and bath room are separated. Bath room comes with a spacious shower area of 5 feet by 5 feet, also a double size Jacuzzi. Breakfast is served at the hotel room in the morning, its design takes every step to observe the privacy of hotel guests. Parking is free for hotel guests, only 7 km driving distance to Nara subway station. It is highly recommended for couples and lovers, but not for children and family.

Excellent”
We stayed a couple of nights in Nara and this hotel was a great find. We took the 160 bus from the JR Train Station until the Hanna Horai stop. From there is a 10 minute walk to the hotel. There are a couple of signs to help along the way. Mind you, the bus runs once an hour and the last one leaves the train station before 7 pm. The room was very clean, it smelled of smoke, even though there where non smoking rooms and we had asked for it. There was an aromatherapy lamp in the room so we asked for the essential oil which masked it a bit. The kettle and the microwave where great, as the room has coffee, instant soup and a few more amenities. There are convenience stores and a 24 hours supermarket near the bus stop, as well as a few restaurants. We chose the Japanese breakfast, with egg, salmon, rice, miso soup and salad. From the hotel we walked to the Toshodaiji temple. The reception workers were very nice, although they don't speak much english.

interesting!”
room is awesome, staff are okay (aside from the "we cant microwave your small pizza" issue we had..). Its a very "discreet" hotel, you aren't supposed to leave your room too much, but overall it was definately worth staying. we booked as it was the cheapest room and ended up staying another night. location isnt great but its ok- mcdonalds is nearby and a super cheap supermarket near that too (head away from town from the mcdonalds). Nara Park is maybe 2 hours walk or theres a bus stop near mcdonalds. definately recommended.

Excellent Love Hotel”
Location of the hotel is abit outskirt from Nara city. We drove with GPS so no problem finding the location. Check in was a breeze. Big clean rooms. Very quiet and private place. I was given a free manicure set with nail colours. Go with nothing as all toiletries are provided.

Great hotel, just forget the fact that it's for adult only!”
We booked for 5 nights. And I was very satisfied with the facilities. The room is super modern, big and very clean. We have a slot machine in our room, I found that funny. The jacuzzi bathtub works so good and the bathroom is huge. The room itself is very very big as well. Of course, as everyone knows how the adult only hotel will be, there will always be some 'toys" and adult tv channel, but just skip those things and everything will just be prefect. I'd suggest this hotel to all the travelers.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.”
Although the hotel is ten minutes away from central Nara, ( buses don't run after seven pm from Nara to the hotel) I felt that the attentiveness of the staff the cleanliness and the vast array of extra comforts in the room, more than make up for the distance. Would stay there again.

far but fantastic & awesome”
its quite far from bus stop or train center, take 25 - 30 mins from train center or 15 mins from bus center my partner & me choose to walk, not by taxi due to the fees is high, and we want to enjoy the moment walk at nara area, the view and scenery there are pretty awesome! quite hard to locate the hotel if without guildline or map, i found the hotel just by luck after checking in, the room is big and well design with many facilities i have an enjoyable night stay in this hotel

Very good”
Acess without a car was difficult & uninspiring area. Room was very large with good hot bath etc. Electronics for lights, TV, & Gambling Machine in room were complex! Ok it was an Adult Hotel. No restaurant, only room service at a price, was not for us. Nara is a great place to visit but was booked up

Perfect place to stay”
I love Fine Garden Hotel very much, they provide Jacuzzi, massage single seat sofa, room service, king bed, 100" projector, 5.1 speaker, good breakfasts set, many choices of cleansing cream, lotion and etc, etc, NOTHING to complain, simply a perfect place to stay.

Great love hotel experience”
If you are not staying at a temple in Nara, this love hotel is worth a 20-25 minute cab ride to the edge of the city. Room is very clean, spacious, fascilities are great, room service prompt. Staff did not speak english, but it was jot a problem.

Bargain”
This is clearly a love hotel, however it is def worth a stay. The room was a bargain and the facilities were amazing, whirlpool bath, more products than superdrugs, massage chair, 24 hour room service, karaoke in ur room and king size bed. Ideally you need a car to stay here, it was difficult to find even with a car and it is out of town near the expressway. However if you want a 5* feel to the hotel at a bargain price stay here. Also despite it being a love hotel, I think booking by agoda or bookings.com they know you are likely just a tourist, so the room is less seedy then other love hotels we have stayed at. Either stock up on food and drink before getting there. Or use the 24 hour room service, they have an English menu so ask for that and you can order by using the numbers. Definetly a good stay at least for a night!

Hotel Fine Garden”
We knew going in this hotel was a love hotel but we possibly underestimated the 'love'. (The vibrator by the bed was a little much for us). The room is very big (which is a nice change when in Japan) and the jacuzzi is entertaining. However, if you don't have a car the location is bad. The walk is 10 minutes to the bus stop and the bus goes once an hour. We went two different ways and both are out of the way and unpleasant. A taxi from Nara cost around 2000 yen. If you are in Nara to visit the tourist attractions pay the extra money to stay in the town. If you are not there for that reason you might like the hotel.

Excellent value for money!!!”
I accidentally booked this hotel not realising it's actually a love hotel...I am travelling with my mum but my embarrassment quickly went away after seeing how amazing the room is!! There was a massage chair in the room, a jacuzzi bath, karaoke machine and many things that made our stay very very comfortable and worth the few "emabressing items" in the room. But both me and my mum had a good giggle about it! It's a little bit far from the main attractions but there is a bus that takes you straight to the deer park and big Buddha. The staff have limited English but they provide you with a map on how to get to the bus stop. (Once you walk under the underpass, turn right and it's a very small sign post with a bench)

A nice place for lovers who have own transport”
I had a good time at the hotel except that public transportation is very inconvenient. Taxi is a must but sometimes is to get when it is a holiday. The hotel has no restaurant and one has to take a cab to go the the nearest place --- Yamato Saidaiji station --- to find a restaurant there or take a train into downtown Nara. The hotel staff was very friendly and polite and offered free transportation when taxis were not available. English communication was conducted by computer translation, not very efficient but effective.

Unexpected and fun”
You need a car to stay in this hotel, which is far from the center and no public transport around. It is an hotel where Japanese couples come discreetly to spend a night. Big rooms with movie projector and big bed, big bathroom with jacuzzi tub with fancy lights and TV screen (with movies for adults only!). The hotel is very clean, good internet connection. No restaurant but you can order food from room service (not good at all). We booked there because they had the last available rooms in Nara. It was unexpected and fun. The children loved it but we had to forbid them to watch the TV in the bathroom. Staff very friendly and very discreet. We didn't meet anybody in the corridors during our 3 days stay.

Amazing luxury at a budget price”
This is an amazing hotel but not for families. There is no restaurant so breakfast is delivered to your room. A rather unorthodox way of waking you up - the television comes on showing Japanese couples in flagrante delicto! It certainly gets you out of bed - to turn it off! These so called love-hotels are for Japanese couples who have no privacy at home. For us it gave us amazing luxury at a budget price.

An accidental booking, totally worth it”
There were no other hotels available in Nara, so an experiment. It is a 'love hotel' (a fabled Japanese establishment), but on the verge of trying to be tourist friendly. Local transport connections are non-existent, but staff were more than happy to order us a cab to the city centre ($15) easily. Equipment in the room was rather impressive (down to strobe-light effects), don't try to look in the nooks (as any other hotel - yes, people will shag on your mattress regardless of the star rating). If you are happy to go out of the boring comfort zone a bit - totally worth an adventure for at least 2 nights. Slots machine in the room was just an icing on the cake, so was the massage chair. Smoking hotel, windows do open. I assume that balcony areas of the rooms will open once it gets warmer.

It's a love hotel...”
This place is definitely a love hotel, but don't let that put you off. It is cheaper and much larger than the average business hotel you will find in Japan. However, I did feel a little embarrassed signing into the hotel with my brother. But it was short lived embarrassment, as we barely spent any time in the hotel and the jacuzzi bath massage chairs more than made up for it. Anyway, not for everyone, but pretty decent deal.
