Good morning Mount Fuji”
Great location, close to Fuji Q Higjland Amusement Park and bus statio.n, Mt. Fuji across the street, beautiful gardens out front, clean, room with a view, outdoor smoking room and patio with Mt. Fuji and sunrise views, great breakfast, open air onsen is beautiful and clean, friendly staff, close to good food choices and coffee. I wiymuld stay here again. Good value for.money paid

Fantastic little gem”
We loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. The room was very generous and clean and our room even had a wonderful view. The gardens were beautiful and the restaurant on site is divine. The location is a bit far from the main town but is located very close to a train station where trains are frequent and you just jump off the next stop. Would definitely stay here again

Passing through”
2 night stay while Passing through site seeing. Room was fairly clean though shower area was only cleaned by what looked like a short person ever got out of reach was over looked. Also air vents look as if not cleaned in a good year as they are covered with very visual dus. Also on the floors closer to the walls busty , as if the seen areas were cleaned but those slightly out of the way were left in touched. It also smelled like smoke which I did expect some smell since it is allowed, but I would have though with a place not that busy they would at least air out the rooms once in a while. The good. Great location a ¥500 ride to thei station. The value is great for the size. Other hotels for a room that size 3 to 4 times the price per night. The large tub with jets was amazing and great on the mussels after miles and miles or walking each day. Over all for the size and price I would stay each time I was in the area.

Would definitely stay here again when we come back. Value for money, cosy place, which have all the perks and facilities we need. Location may not as good for long stay, due to the limited train schedule along the fujikyu railway

Rooms were small. However, for the price, this hotel is great. Everything is clean, the staff helpful, great facilities and onsen. Breakfast was ala carte, western or Japanese. More than enough. The hotel has a Yakiniku restaurant which was a little pricey but had nice menu items. Would definitely come back.

The room is considered pretty small given it is out of Tokyo but perfect size for a solo traveller. If you are lucky you will be able to assign to a fuji view room and you will be able to see fujikyu highland. it has a good outdoor bath too!

A bit far from the main station but overall our stay was enjoyable ! We got a great breakfast and lunch by the hotel and the Onsen to use during our stay. Definitely recommend those that will be staying for a night or two to stay here!

This hotel is situated in a more relaxed side of Fujiyoshida, so access is quite limited to the Fujikyu Highland station if you’re looking to see more of Kawaguchiko. Chureito Pagoda is a 20-minute (or so) walk from the hotel, and along our way we appreciated how affable the neighborhood is with the imposing backdrop of Mt. Fuji. We had lovely breakfasts at Hotel Fuji Tatsugaoka, and the dinner we once had at Yakiniku Tatsugaoka was also sumptuous. The staff are also accommodating and friendly. It’s a pity we didn’t get to try their onsen (?) because we didn’t have much time, as I’m sure it’s well kept as were their other facilities.

Great location ”
Small, intimate hotel. Staff very helpful and restaurant next door with good food. Breakfast- you could select Japanese or Western, was fresh and delicious. Room was on the small side and it was difficult to house two suitcases in any spare space. Bed was comfortable and had pillows which were soft on one side and harder on the other. Bathroom is capsule like but with a step up and with the limited amount of space made going in and out of the bathroom. However all that was worth waking up, drawing back your curtains and seeing Mount Fuji in front of you. My tip would be to ask for a room on the third floor, looking out on to the road but away from the smoking area. Onsen looked good although didn’t have the opportunity to try it. Close to Fuji Q Highland Station and you could walk to Lake - about 40 mins.

Good breakfast and good outdoor onsen”
The front desk of the hotel could not speak a lot of English, but you can manage to do your check-in. Thet have western style and Japanese style breakfast, you have to choose in advance which one and at what time you want it to be served, as it is freshly cooked. The rotenburo is very nice and we could take a bath both in the evening and early in the morning. The room is quite big for Japanese standards, my bathroom was almost as big as my room.

Nice Open Bath!”
Although the hotel is very far from Kawaguchiko Station, I remember it took me forever to reach the hotel, ha3! The hotel is very nice. The room is very cozy. I super like the Open Bath, I tried it after whole day tour, it soothes and relax my body.
