Great location for Legoland”

If you want a hotel that is close to Legoland, then this is an ideal choice. We stayed over the weekend with 2 young kids and drove to Legoland on Saturday morning, and reached within 15 minutes. There was very little traffic. Hotel Granada is also situated right in front of Aeon Mall so it's easy to find food while staying here. There's a McDonalds right next door too, so easy when you need to grab a quick meal. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast spread was modest. All in all, a value for money hotel if you want a quick stay in Johor Bahru.

Staying in this hotel really make your Johor Bahru holidays more enjoyable as it is very convenient as nearby AEON Bukit Indah shopping mall and there are many eateries and somemore 2 free breakfast provided by Hotel Granada really wonderful making good feeling with the start of the day.

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. Overtime when visit to Legoland, if we decided to stay in JB for 1 or 2 nights, we always choose to book at this hotel. This time we try the suite, its cost slightly more but it's definitely worth booking. The room is much bigger and we can get some good rest after a long day shopping in Johor. Opposite of this hotel, there is a big shopping mall, with many food selections, mega supermarket, as well as pharmacies. If you are not a fan for shopping mall, there are many other medium size shops selling local food, some of them are popular and can find their review on forum. If it's later in the evening, you can go down for supper and have a nice foot massage, reasonable prices and clean.

Good hotel with strategic location ”

Thank you to Management from Hotel Granada and Mr Kevin for surprise upgrade to Club Room. Awesome pre birthday gift. Check in were done by Mr. Kevin.He was prompt, friendly and efficient. Breakfast spread better than some 5 star hotel. Good varieties. Awesome location. Not secluded, Bright and well lit. Felt safe after finishing watching movie which end at near midnight. Not only that, huge car washing centre. Most importantly for me and family, we always ensure that hotel location must be well lit, with open surroundings, not dim and far from amenities. We don't fancy, quiet, near jungle like surroundings. Highly recommended for short getaway. Watch movies at TGV cinema twice, they have beany seat option and LUXE with comfy seat at RM 23 /per person. We watched Godzila, King of the Titans and Men In Black. Inside the huge AEON MALL, eateries like A & W, OLD TOWN White Coffee, Secret Recipe, Kenny Rogers, KFC, Starbucks, Manhattan Fish, Pizza HUT, J & CO, Baskin Robbins, next to a standalone McDonald's, located right next to hotel., What more can you ask for? We parked our car in front of the hotel lobby and just walk to the AEON mall. We hope one day , Granada Hotel management will transform the pool to be from a tiny winny pool to a sheltered 25 metre pool on the room floor and manage the situation urgently with the house flies at the ground floor restaurant. Rest assured, we will be back for our next short trip getaway.

Great Location”

Always my first cooise while pay visit to Johor Bahru Just Right Beside 24 Hours Mcd Aeon just right opposite, Tesco around 5 min driving I use to stay here, this stay quite dissapointed, checked-in the room, bed and toilet is tidy, normally there were 2 bottles mineral water will be provided, when we check in the only one mineral water being left on the floor. We did request for 1 more bottles. We wait for alomost 30 minuites, not sent So we just went for dinner, think to just directly request from receiption. After request from reception, we direct get back to our room, the water bottle sent. Next days, the check out time will be 12nn, we have not been checked out yet, around 11.55am, we get back from shopping, jz to double check the room, since we did left one of our room card in the room The cleaner went in our room, and taken our room card, fortunally we come on time. I think management need to control the master key usage Hope the next visit next visit

Finally a good time to stay here and not regretting! Fast check in. Super friendly staffs and always welcome with a smile. Love the breakfast spread and it was superb. Will definitely come again! Why you should choose Granada: - 5 -10 mins walk to AEON Bukit Indah Shopping Mall just across the street ** child friendly - Opp Petronas Petrol Kiosk - Tentage up at night selling durians on the right side next to the hotel - Mcdonalds just on the left side of the hotel - Few massage places, saloon - Pop up van - able to taste of local jackfruit, fresh old school confectionery - RM11 to Legoland via Uber X and so much reasons more!

Near to almost anything ”

This is my second time stay inthis hotel. The strategic location is the main reason im choosing granada. McD just beside the hotel, aeon mall just infront and legoland is very near. The breakfast buffet is delicious although the spead is not that much. The room is quite small if u come with big family, need to book more than one room. And it value for money, not that expensive. Def will come again 😌

Nice hotel in a convenient location!”

We stayed for three nights at Hotel Granada in the Executive Deluxe room. The hotel is very new and conveniently located just opp. Jusco and beside a 24hrs MacDonald which can be easily reached. We were able to park our cars outside the hotel main entrance which make it convenient for us to travel. Room is rather small consider that we are staying in Executive Deluxe rooms. But it come faciliated with tea making corner, hair dryer etc which are important for family with kids. The baby cot which is provided free is sturdy but require some creative re-shuffling of furnitures in order to accomodate it in the tight space. The room rate come with breakfast for two. However I find the breakfast spread moderate (there is no egg station)and after having it on first morning, decided to have breakfast at other eateries nearby. The breakfast ended at 10am but by 9.30am there is almost nothing left. Though the hotel does top up the food but it is finished as soon as it is topped up. The drive from Hotel to Legoland and Hello Kitty Town is approx. 15mins to 20 mins. I like that the hotel is located close to plenty of local eateries and restaurants. And for those whom like to shop - Tesco, Giant and Courts are just round the corner. Overall, I will choose to stay in this hotel again at my next trip.

Room was clean with all required amenities including hairdryer. Nice large windows in room. Breakfast was average and not much difference in variety over 3 days. Staff were helpful and room service was good and prompt. However, do take note that they do not help to call for taxi service and instead refer you to a staff working in a convenience store in the hotel who quotes you a high price which is double of my fare. (From hotel to Legoland, he quoted 30RM but in the end I managed to flag down a cab right outside the hotel and it only costs 14RM) Advice to travelers: Download Grabtaxi app on your phone to save yourself the hassle of dealing with unreasonable taxi drivers who quote high prices. (Only 2RM booking fee) Hotel located near a mall with a variety of dining choices and also supermarket. Checking in and checking out was smooth.

Great Location and Good Value”

This is our 2nd visit to Legoland, but a smaller family size this time around, so we booked a hotel instead of an apartment unit. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes' drive from Legoland. Hotel is located opposite of AEON Mall and next to 24-hrs McDonalds and other eateries, so a very good location indeed. Staff was swift during check-in, room was clean and we had a nice view of the small city too. Breakfast is a pleasant surprise for this 3 star hotel, with plenty of varieties to choose from. This hotel is well above average in many aspects, and I will strongly consider them again in my next visit to Johor Bahru/Legoland.

Best accommodation near Bukit Indah JUSCO”

Booked club room and it’s located on the 10th floor. But no club and lounge in the hotel except KTV at the 1st floor. Hotel has closed down the club. The only different is that it’s located on the highest floor with view. The room layout is the same for deluxe room. Room is clean and comfortable. Hotel is located opposite JUSCO. Breakfast is good. I would say Hotel Granada is the best accommodation in this area at the price with breakfast.

Good Location, Value for Money”

For the price we paid, no complain for the rooms. Rooms are pretty standard, but comfortable to stay. Location is great. You can do shopping just across the road where AEON Bukit Indah is located. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy access to places like Legoland, Johor Premium Outlet and Puteri Harbour Themepark too, all within 15 mins drive. Breakfast is quite standard with the normal Malaysian breakfast choices; not much varieties but good enough. The front desk service was good. Twice we called up at night to request for something and they came to our room quickly. The F&B service can be improved as there may be lacking of manpower on one of the days we were there. There was no table for some of the guests during breakfast on one of the days, and I cleared the table on my own when I finally spotted someone leaving. However I would like to praise the manager for helping out in clearing the tables (I assume he was the manager as he was dressed differently and wearing a tie). It is still a pleasant stay in this hotel and I will consider coming back again.

Good Location with Nearby Shopping Center”

This hotel is located conveniently which is just opposite Aeon Shopping Center and also beside Aeon Shopping center, there is a bus stop, CW3 and CW6 which will take you to Giant Supermarket at the door step and pay only RM1.00. On our return trip back Singapore, the reception staff DOES NOT know which direction of the bus stop for us to take the bus to Johor checkpoint and told us to cross the road to the bus stop which is totally WRONG information. However, the plus point of this hotel, they do offer vegetarian lontong for those vegetarian guest who wants to know the range of vegetarian breakfast which is of very good taste. TripAdvisor Reader - If you want to take a bus towards Johor Checkpoint, please wait at the location just opposite the bus stop of Aeon Shopping Centre.. Cheers ! Regards Granada Hotel Guest

Comfortable. Simple. ”

Good. Comfortable bed. Simple but enjoyable big breakfast spread. Highly recommended to go again. It's not really that far from Legoland and its still affordable to go by taxi. From Legoland to hotel cost us approximately RM30. It's affordable considering that there were 4 of us in the taxi. Taxi use is metered and we got the Legoland hotel to book for us taxi with no added charges. Even from Hotel Granada to City Square (next to CIQ Checkpoint), it only costs us approximately RM25. I'd go again as the hotel is walking distant to Tesco Tebrau. Awesome mall with lots of food and shopping

Pros 1. Very close with AEON shopping mall. 2. Easily can get Grab without waiting. 3. Very quiet even though it in the middle of city. (Not sure either because of pandemic or this place is not a busy place). 4. Close to Legoland Theme Park. Around 15 minutes. 5. Very friendly staff. Cons 1. This hotel looks like an old hotel. 2. Not very happy with cleanliness. But acceptable. 3. Creamer for coffee cannot be use. Looks like expired or something. (Perhaps because of pandemic, hotel closed for a long time, and they used an old creamer). But this can forgiven. Other than that, you can go by your self to try out this hotel..! Amenities are all within walking distance. AEON Jusco has a lot to offer from F&B to cinema, gadgets & clothes. Hats off to Granada Hotel for such a superb service!
