Superb location”

Location was fantastic, can't beat it. Super near to Kintetsu Nara and many restaurants, convenience shops nearby. Hotel twin room was abit tight but most hotels in Japan are similar or even smaller. Good for short stays. Room was clean and even provide Yukata for guests. Service from staff was polite & good and even allow us to store our bulky luggage while we go tour. Not all budget hotels in Japan allow you to do that. Overall worth staying.

Exceptional”

Location is very close to train station. First night the room was not quite to our satisfaction and requested for a change. They promptly move us to a better and more spaces room at a lower floor.

Good”

The hotel is very close to the train station and Nara Park. There are very good places to eat close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

Good location, clean room buy not enough space. ”

Very good location, very very close to the Nara Station(subway). Clean room and acceptable price. But a little bit small room, not enough space for the belongings. Overall, I am still satisfied to stay in here!

Convenient, clean and comfortable”

I spent two nights at the People's Inn Hanakomichi. It is very conventiently located in the town center and easy to find - there are new signs. The room I had was spacious, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are thin so if you mind hearing other guests, this might not be the right for you. The staff spoke little English but enough and was friendly and welcoming.

excellent location, kind and courteous staff, but no wifi in rooms”

This hotel was perfect aside from three things: a bit overpriced for a japanese style room with minimal bedding, walls are VERY thin, and no internet in rooms. the staff were very kind and courteous and spoke good english. they let us borrow umbrellas, and held our luggage for us the day we checked out. If you don't get any belligerent neighbors and don't plan on using internet in room though, this hotel has great location and great atmosphere

Excellent location; proximity to attractions, station, eateries and shops. Friendly staff at reception. Decent size room and had all the basic requirements. Car park affiliated to hotel is difficult to locate; need to drive carefully thru super narrow lane.

Cleanliness an issue”

We had a Japanese style room with tatami mats. Room appeared clean. However in the corner where they put the dust bin we saw a cockroach crawl from under the mats. We moved the bin away to the doorway. They should improve their pest control. Other than this issue the hotel is fine and the location really good and very close to the Subway station.

The largest room I’ve ever been in Japan”

The Japanese style room is soooooo big that it can accommodate at least five people!!! I really love this room!!! I’d strongly recommend it!!!

Good choice”

We Had a nice small 3 bedeutet room. Very good Location within Walking distance to train station, big Buddha, Park, ...

Receptionist cannot understand simple English. They should a phone translator from English to Japanese, So that the guests can be help by them.”

We are not use to sleep with the window open. We cannot switch on the air con because the receptionist said that it is possible to switch on. We did not her. The room was not comfortable without the control temperature of an air-con unit. Because we paid US$120 per night, we find it over price without air-con.

Good location”

Close to kintetsu station. Even the building is a little old but it's clean.

Conveniently located”

Right on one of the most busy street with shops all over. Two min walk from train station.

Worst customer service and very disappointing room”

This was our least favorite place of our week in Japan. The guest room was a handicap room. When we asked if there was a possibility to change, the woman at the front desk didn’t even attempt to see if there was another room available. She simply said no. The room was dusty, dirty and very unpleasant. You couldn’t take a steamy shower for fear of sounding the fire alarm. If you need a late check out, be prepared to paid 1000 yen an hour. I would never stay here again.

Bon séjour à Nara. Hôtel très bien situé. On peut explorer les petites rues sympathiques du centre de Nara à pied ainsi que l’ensemble du parc avec les temples et les biches.

Buono ma con qualche ombra”

Nel complesso buono ma migliorabile. Il segnale wi-fi nella camera era troppo debole e non si poteva utilizzare. Sono dovuto scendere alla reception per poter accedere ad internet. Peccato perché tra i servizi previsti c'era l'accesso internet dalla camera. Per la nostra esperienza in Giappone questo è il primo caso in cui i servizi offerti non corrispondono a quelli previsti.

大晦日に和室”

12/31に利用した。夕食は部屋で食べる予定だったので机がある和室はゆっくり食べることができた。夜中に興福寺、春日大社、東大寺を巡ることができ、早朝出発も駅近なので時間に余裕があった。布団を敷いておいてくれたのもありがたかった。コンセントが少ないのと大きい鏡がないのが不便。次回はおせち料理も食べてみたい。
