Good Budget Hotel.”
Hill View hotel is located in kakkanad area which is very near to the IT parks. We are three including me, my wife and daughter and had to stay here for a day to visit my friends place living in the same area. We found rooms to be very clean and friendly staff otherwise, there is no special attractions in this hotel. This hotel is more suitable for business people and to people who want to stay in a good room with less price(No Amenities). Food wise, Breakfast was okay. Overall, good budget hotel

Good hotel but not friendly staff”
The stay in Hill View was not that great for me on my birthday. The hotel and rooms are good, the only issue is with the hotel front office reception guys. - Wi-fi was not working, when I ask them, one guy gave me a wrong password and says its a range problem. The so called "FREE WI-FI" didn't help me in any ways in my stay here. - The front office manager totally got confused with my requirement and started acting wierd, he was not even ready to show his face with a smile. - Being a 3 star rated hotel, the service which I got is not up to the mark. - I kept on calling many times to the reception, walked directly to the reception for the cab to be arranged, but it was not done on time. - The other guy (Raju) finally helped me in sorting things out and I was bit comfortable with it.

hotel is clean and ideally located from infopark,kochi. distance from airport is also not bad. breakfast buffet is adequate. we also tried the buffet lunch once. it tasted bland but not bad. tried prawn biryani for dinner once. that was tasty. check out bill had some error in billing for laundry which we didn't use. they realized the mistake and corrected it and reverted the charges. overall a decent hotel for business traveller.

Comfortable Stay at reasonable price”
i) Hotel Hillview is accessible from NH47,NH17 and Heart of Ernakulam with just 15-20 mins Drive . ii) Staffs were friendly. iii)Breakfast is complimentary ,but I would have loved to see some Kerala dishes like Appam and Puttu . iv)Room is spacious v)Bathrooms are average, but kept clean , would have been better if proper wet and dry area separation was there. vi) Refrigerator and hot kettle were not there vii) Bed is nice but blankets could have been better .

the ambience and the service were good though the initial welcome was not that great as we had to carry our luggage to the lobby and not the bell boys . the buffet breakfast was good with enough varieties. the hotel was neat and clean , good food.

Hotel services are not any way near to 3 star”
Stay was good, but maintance of fecility at hotel is below standered, i.e. fan controlls are not workings (its on single speed), showers are not working, no towel bars or hooks for hanging dress in bathroom etc

Great location but small rooms”
The hotel was good in respect of cleanliness ambience. The staff were cordial and good. There were some issues like the hot water was taking time to heat up and also the ceiling there was a hole. Overall good.

Generally ok, but need improvement in the following areas 1) Need to fix the fan regulator. Currently it cannot be controlled 2) Fix the intermittent failure of A/C in the room 3) Better clean up of toilets 4) Improve Wifi connection. Currently available at lobby 5) Continuous A/C at lobby

No restaurants.....only room service....No intercom.....call to hotel reception from our mobile...... because of staff shortage, poor service ....... complementary breakfast served to room...3 small dosa with sambar/coconut chutney and one boiled egg..few pineapple pieces too... Photos attached.
