The hotel staff members were excellent and the best part about the stay. Siya (sp?) spoke excellent English and was especially helpful. The tatami room was lovely and the hotel's location near Kochi Castle excellent. The restaurant and coffeeshop were not particularly memorable, however, and the beautiful picture on Agoda makes the hotel look much more picturesque than it actually is, as the "garden" is really a small closed-in courtyard.

Wonderful Experience”

The hotel is located just beside the streetcar stop. There's a convenience store nearby if you want to buy some snacks or even beer. The service is quite fantastic. You don't have to bring your luggage to the room cuz the hotel stuff will do it for you. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner included. The waitress at the dinner table was very hospitable. Even though she doesn't speak fluent English, she tried very hard to explain the meal for us to understand. The breakfast buffet is also decent. You get to eat as many as strawberries you want. If you want to have a Japanese style breakfast, you'll also be satisfied.

I would never EVER rate any buisness Excellent as there is no rate to grow, no reason for improvement. I will say thank you to the staff, the comfort of the hotel and gratitude to Yoko for your excellence in effort to accommodate me in English and to you Hiromi in making sure your guest a warm and welcoming hotel.

Very helpful staff”

Although the rooms are a bit small, I still recommended this hotel. With the help of the team of front desk staff, we enjoyed a memorable evening.

Good choice in Kochi”

Staff is nice, room is big and clean, onsen is good, right next to tram stop and Ryoma birthplace, walkable distance to castle and Hirome Market Parking is not free and costs 500 yen per night but they have the car parked for you

The dinner is great but I don't feel that the hotel is providing Hot Spring. It just likes providing a big place for bath. It may not be Hot Spring.

Took my mother on a trip. Loved the breakfast with a big variety of local cuisines. Staffs were great and it made our trip overall an exceptional experience. It will be a 15 min walk/need to use the tram to get to the center but its okay-distance if you are here to enjoy the atmosphere.
