Hotel Kanade is a great choice to stay in when you are at Osaka Namba. It is a short 5-minute walk to downtown Dotonburi and is close to 2 different train lines (Osaka-Namba and Namba). There is a huge grocery and departmental store LIFE just across the street from the hotel. You are never far from food, transport or entertainment. I stayed in the Superior Double, which is a large room, generous in terms of size when compared to other hotels around Osaka. The bathroom is clean and spacious. There is a separate shower area with a soak tub. All room amenities are provided for. As I had a late flight out of Osaka, the staff was kind enough to hold my luggages for the day till I collected them in the evening. They even had a luggage weighing scale for me to borrow. I would definitely recommend Hotel Kanade and it would be a top choice when I return to Osaka.

Highly Recommend ”

My husband and I booked the Deluxe Double room. There are three "wings" at Kanade and we were the only room on that wing's floor (7). It was twice the price as the double room, but it was super spacious - king size bed with enough room for a couch/sitting area. The room even had flower decor on the walls. The bathroom had a full size tub, spacious shower area and separate bathroom. Our son stayed in the standard double which was in a different wing. his room was comfortable, but small - typical of rooms in Japan. Location is awesome!!!! Just steps from the Dotonbori and a myriad of restaurants and shops. The front desk was great too! I've stayed at many hotels in Osaka, but this deluxe room at Kanade is my top choice!

Great location, quiet and spacious rooms”

This was our second stay at Hotel Kanade Osaka Namba as we found the location perfect for our first trip. Close to transport, convenience stores etc. Staff were lovely and the room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Great for a few nights stay. Would recommend and stay again.

One of The Best choice for OSAKA trip”

I've reserved room 28 square-meter by less than 10,000 Yen/night (Good price for me) and I really like it because it's very comfortable big room and also have a set of sofa and table too. For the bathroom is very big, I really love to take a bath here. The toilet and sink+mirror are separated from the bathroom, So you don't need to wait to use it. Hotel's location is perfect for transit to the Airport by Airport Limousine bus from Namba(OCAT) and also very easy to go to another place such as USJ, Tempozan Harbor Village etc. because this hotel closed to train station. There are many shopping places around this hotel such as Shinsaibashi, Namba, Namba walk, Kuromon Market. And if you want to have one day trip by bus, there are also have many services from Namba(OCAT) such as LIMON by Shinki bus etc. Next time for OSAKA, I absolutely stay at this hotel again.

The location is excellent with many food choices & convenient to go to Kansai Airport with direct limousine bus or railway in about 55min. The hotel room I chose is small but clean with adequate amenities. I will stay again with Hotel Kanade Osaka Namba again in my next visit.

Awesome Place!”

The hotel is ideally located in Namba, just steps away from OCAT, Namba JR Station, Dotonburi-Shinsaibashi, Kuroman Market etc. The subway access is located right outside the hotel. Food, shopping, and anything else you need is close by. The staff was always friendly and helpful and they speak enough english to answer most questions. The deluxe twin room was great, more than enough space with a separate shower/bath and toilet. The only minor flaw would be that it was a little dark. It is the perfect spot to explore Namba and anywhere else in Osaka. Will definitely stay again when in Osaka.

I travel with my Mom age 71, hotel is clean with good location near Namba MRT station. if you come from airport, you can take airport limousin bus stop at OCAT, go up look for Hotel Monterey sign at Exit 30 there is lift easier for us whom bring lugguage or eldery people. After in front of the street turn right you will see Hotel Kanade sign name at the building, accross the traffic light. Exit 28 of Yotsubashi-suji Ave, East Side will come up in front of hotel (need to take stairs). If you stay for a few days, you need to put 'Cleab Up' sign at your front door for the hotel staff clean up our room. Inside the bathroom, they provide Shiseido shampoo, bath form, conditioner brands. Overall I recommend the hotel and will come to stay again with my family in my future trips.

Conveniently Located City Hotel”

Hotel Kanade may be a little down on facilities, but its location and value for money much more than make up for that. It is so conveniently between the OCAT Bus Terminal and the Namba Station, and just walking distance to Dotonbori. Since more time is spent exploring Osaka and less time in the Hotel, in my mind this is one of the best located value hotels there. - JG

Great location”

We ended our last 2 days of holiday at Hotel Kanade. The best stay in our entired trip. Big comfy bed, separate bath & toilet. Great location! steps away from Osaka Namba Station. If you have big luggages..use exit 30 as it has elevator. Exit 28 & 29 for daily trips. Big supermarket near exit 30. The only downside is the checkin staff could have mentioned to us that their hot stone bath & public pool only open at 5pm. As we were only there for a night, we checkout the next day & we missed that hot stone bath experience.

Big Toilet/Best Location Hotel”

The room size is bigger then normal Japan Hotel with the same value of money. Toilet really big with a bath tub & shower area. They provided shampoo, conditional, bath soap & even a facial form...and also facial cleansing cream & lotion as well. 5mins walk to Dotonburi & Namba. 5-7mins walk to Osaka bus station. 7mins walk to Namba Nankai Station. Family Mart is just opposite the hotel. A 药妆店 is located at the corner of the hotel. The only shortage of is the sleeping room kind of too dark with 3 nos of ceiling downlight only. Overall it is still good value for money with best location & room size with facilities. :)

Perfect Hotel for an Osaka Trip”

The location is the best part of this hotel. It’s a quick walk from Namba OCAT. This is the bus station for the airport limousine bus that gets you to and from KIX airport. The entrance to the Metro Osaka subway station is literally in front of the hotel entrance. When it was raining in Shinsaibashi (shopping district) we got to hotel dry. Our room was just right for a couple. We got the 20 sqm twin room and joined our two beds. Bathroom toiletries were all great to use, especially our trip was near winter. No English channel on tv and room safe. I guess you might not need them anyway. Definitely we’re staying here again if we go back to Osaka.

Great Location, Great Hotel”

Hotel Kanade is located just outside of JR Namba station. It is also within walking distance to many places such as Dotonburi. The room is clean and tidy. There was staff that helped us with check-in. You can also do a self check-out by using the machine at the reception. The only setback was that the room was a bit too dim. Overall, it was value for money.

Excellent Location”

The hotel is just in front of Exit 28 of Yotsubashi subway Metro line. Thus it is very convenient to take trains to visit places in Osaka. It is also just 8 mins walk to Namba area and Dotonbori. You can stay out late at Dotonbori and walk back to hotel. If you take the airport bus from Kansai, the bus will stop at Namba station. Just need to walk 4 mins to Hotel. Osaka Namba Station has lost of underground malls, restaurants and cafes, so you can easily shop around and find food there.

Excellent location, Clean room”

Location is excellent, near train and underpass shopping. There are a lot of nice restaurants at the back alleys, few minutes walk. Dotonbori and kuromon market are less than 10mins walk. Hotel is near the main station, walking distance. Didn't take the hotel breakfast, hence, can't comment. Took rapid train from airport to Namba main station and walked about 10mins to hotel Kanade.

Exceptional”

I might be the first gaijin ever book in this hotel since Nov 2016, all the reviews still in Japanese Anyway, it was much better than my expectation. When I arrived it's still 2 PM, but the nice lady at the front office let me checked-in (check in by 3 PM as per rules)...and yes they knew a little bit of English They only have 9 Floor, 7 room per floor so it's kinda had this homey aura. I got a high floor room 902, and the room show its 3-stars hotel's room look like. Brand new furniture and plenty of amenities, hot shower and also drinking water tap. I got the 54inch wide screen tv and many channel But it's strength actually lies in location and price. The Namba station exit 28-29 just in front of it, and Dotonburi Glico Man only 2mins walking distance. The price per night is below average for this area and hotel's rating. It seems quite popular among tourist since almost all the guest were tourist, yes, I definitely want to stay here again in the future.

Business hotel at Prime Location”

Great Location:- Kanade Hotel is next to JR Namba Station, underground and in walking distance to Nankai Namba Station. 10mins walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Business Hotel:- It is like a business budget hotel instead of a normal hotel. The facilities are okay but everything is clean.

Clean and Big room”

The location of hotel is very good, it's located near the central of Namba. Just opposite JR namba and the entrance to osaka subway is in front of the hotel. We can walk to Dotonbori (just 5-10 minutes walk). The room is very big and clean. I really recommend this hotel and will be back if i go to Osaka next time.

Great location with big room!”

Tje hotel located mext to Namba station and it’s central to many places. The parking it’s free too! The room is big and the tv is huge! But your window might be the side of the building view so if you want the sunshine then you might have to request it. The bed is very comfortable and the amenities that provided is good too. Short walking distance to OCAT terminal to take a bus to Kansai airport which cost 1,050 Yen per person. Luggage delivery from hotel is 2,500 Yen per luggage. Highly recommended hotel for Osaka.

Exceptional”

The location of this hotel is great and the staffs were friendly! If you are coming from JR Namba station with luggages (exit 30), Turn Right once you are out from the station and walk straight, you will see a short stretch of shops on both side and a supermarket (Life Food Market). At the end of the stretch, there’s a SMBC atm on your left, Turn Left and go up to the escalator (there’s a ramp to roll your luggage before gg up to the escalator). Turn Left again after coming up from the escalator and walk straight. Before crossing the road, you will be able to see the hotel in front of you. If you are coming from the subway (Namba station), you can use exit no 28 just right in front of the hotel. However, there’s no elevator and do not encourage to carry your luggage as the stairs are small and steep. Just below exit 28, there’s a long underground tunnel (called J Walk) where u can shop and walk all the way to Dotonbori. Room is spacious, shower pressure is great, bed is just right and they provided all the essentials which includes Shiseido body wash, shampoo, conditioner and facial wash. Definitely a place to come back to.

Spacious room with convenient location”

The location of the hotel is very convenience, located a few minutes walk from Namba JR station and OCAT bus terminal. Easy to get around Osaka with access to both metro subway, JR and Kintetsu rail line. The room is spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. Also come with sofa and living room area, enough space to move around even with 2 big luggage open. The only small little drawback is the tv channel are all in Japanese, even though the tv is huge. Overall a satisfactory stay!
