Great value! ”

Our family of three (two adults, one child - age 11) very much enjoyed our stay. We found the hotel to be within easy walking distance of the train station and local restaurants as well as the Zenjoji Shrine. Even in the cold, the distance was a pleasant 10-15 minutes everywhere we wanted to go. Our triple corner room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and, by Japanese standards, very spacious. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very excellent stay here, great location in city center, and the staff was super helpful. There was a mistake with my booking due to my own fault, and the staff quickly fixed the issue without hesitation. Thank you so much for making my stay wonderful.

housekeeping did not clean rooms properly lots of dust, hair, bread crumbs i felt not right staying at this place location is not ok for tourists far very from station breakfast was same every day i did not eat anything much on the second day and third day i went outside to find food

Kokusai 21 stay”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the only fault I could find was when we checked out the two male staff members on the check out desk were rather unfriendly and bad mannered towards us which was a shame. We have stayed at Kokusai 21 Nagano in the past and are now unsure if we would ever stay there again.

Probably one of the 2 best hotels in Nagano city. a few good restaurants, comfortable rooms and professional service. Location is good too, 10-15 minutes walk from the famous Zenkoji temple and the same distance from the train station too. I find it better then the metropolitan hotel, which beats this one, only by the location. Was the main hotel, during the Olympic game in 1998

Mountain views abound”

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, or a short bus or taxi ride. It is close to the mountains, so the fall colours were great to see. I got a great deal with agoda for this room, so I was very pleased with the pricepoint, bit the main photos of the rooms are in the new section of the hotel, and the cheaper rooms are in the annex. Not quite as new and posh, but very spacious rooms.

they staff was very attentive and helpful. the rooms were nice and clean. the breakfast bar was great and the view from the top of the hotel during breakfast was breathtaking!! highly recommend this hotel!!

Great staff, lousy room”

10/10 for the great staff in this hotel 2/10 for comfort. Airconditioner is not able to be adjusted so the room was like a sauna if I turned it on. Once I opened the window to get some relief the noise keep us up all night. It has been described as the best hotel in Nagano but that must be for the new section. If they stick you in the annex, expect to be disappointed. They must keep the best rooms for the customers who book directly with them and allocated all their crap ones for people who book with Agoda Also at least 20 minutes walk to the railway station. Will definitely stay at another hotel the next time

Comfortable, friendly hotel. Good location and value. Expensive Internet access, uninteresting breakfast. I only stayed for one night, but found it clear that the service was good, although not exemplary. For the price, it is not bad at all.

We wanted a landing pad in Nagano for a night because we were going to Snow Monkey Park. We purposely chose this hotel, because it claimed to have English speaking employees and to be helpful with getting to the park. We also thought that it was closer to Nagano Station than it was. It was instead a dated dinosaur (the still have actual keys) with a staff that hardly spoke english and it was so off the beaten path that they actually had to telephone a cab company in order every time we needed to go somewhere.

チェックインの際　agodaから朝食オプションのリクエストが反映されないことを伝えましたところ良心的に対応していただけました　フロントの対応はきちんとしておられます　シャワーの水圧、お湯の温度も快適、ベッドマットレスと枕も心地よかったです　また利用したいと思います
