Bang for buck!”

So it was my first trip to Japan and I found this hotel to be the best priced for the location. When I arrived, I was surprised as to how close it was from JR Namba station and Sakuragawa station. JR Namba was a maximum of a 10 minute walk (slow) and Sakuragawa was also approximately the same. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to Dotonbori street or if you're lazy, you could take a train from Namba station (about 12 mins) to Shinsabashi station (another night street adjacent to Dotonburi). What I loved about the hotel was that area of town is quiet, and walking 15 minutes to Dotonburi you could actually feel two different vibes, quiet near the hotel and energetic near the street. Now the rooms: The rooms ARE SMALL. With that in mind, me and my girlfriend were fine with it as the space was mostly functional. The toilet was superbly well equipped with shampoo/conditioners/shower gels/hair dryer/shaver/shaving cream and even an air purifier! Front desk was also super friendly and helpful!

two of the men manning the front desk named yuzi (i'm not sure of the spelling) and kim gave our group excellent customer service to my family when we stayed in hotel links during the golden week. yuzi provided print outs of maps and train station lists to my parents and gave very specific instructions on how to get to places of interest. location was excellent, only a couple of blocks away from OCAT. the breakfast served was excellent, but may not be for westerner's tastes (my brother and i especially loved the curry). we got the twin bedrooms and while it was on the small side, you really couldnt ask for more in japan. facilities were complete and there was unlimited coffee in the lobby. it's quite a walk to dotonbori though, i would highly recommend going through the namba walk during rainy days.

Overall Experience”

The place is clean. However, they took the bathrobes and did not replace it. It is near the subway station and Namba Station. It is also a walk away to Dotonbori. The breakfast is great. Overall, I had a great experience with Namba Links Hotel.

Exceptional”

Excellent new hotel in good location. Short walk from JR Namba station and Osaka City Air Terminal where you can get bus direct to airport. Room a little small but normal for Japan. Lots of bathroom amenities provided. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Will stay again.

Excellent Hotel”

I was apprehensive because there were no reviews online for this hotel and that is because it only opened the day before I arrived! Everything was brand new, the room was lovely and cleaned every day. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great (Japanese style). The location was very good, 10 minute walk from Namba station. Overall, a very pleasant stay, I would definitely come back again. Thanks WBF!

Overall - It’s not bad”

We had our luggage sent over to Osaka from Tokyo the day before. The luggage was placed in our room when we were back to the hotel at late afternoon. The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel location is nearby OCAT osaka (few mins of walk). This could help if you are getting to other places by JR or walk (namba walk is just beside OCAT). We could walk to Dotonbori from Namba walk or take JR line to Universal City (for Universal Studio Japan). Although the bed and toilet are a bit small, but we managed to have a good rest at night.

Excellent hotel ”

Best hotel in osaka so far. Close to OCAT namba mrt and bus station. Staff was nice and friendly. Opted for a high floor but was given a 2nd floor nevertheless room was quiet enough to sleep. Walking distance to Dotonburi was around 15minute. But train station nearby was a 5min walk.

Good location - 5 min from JR Namba Station”

Namba is a huge place. It is important that you get out from the right exit ie JR West Front side at JR Namba Station to get to the hotel within 5 min from station. Family mart is just round the corner. Very convenient. Dotonbori is about 10-15 stroll from hotel. Take the Namba Walk - underground shopping mall. Overall, good value for $$. I will stay here again.

Good value for money”

The hotel staff were very helpful, facilitative, they will ask you what you need for your trip/stroll. There was no complimentary water bottle however there was an available cold water with lemon in a pitcher at the lobby and free coffee. They will always provide fresh & clean towels & kimonos even if you dont ask them to clean your room. Breakfast was good, they change some of their main dishes everyday. Osaka city air terminal was 7 minutes walk from the hotel, 15 mins walk to dotombori. We stayed in a double room and the space was quite small.

Good place to stay if you don't have to carry heavy luggage”

The hotel itself is good - the facilities and amenities are complete, the room the clean and has enough space, the staff is friendly (they don't speak much English but they'll still try to help you!). However, I specifically chose the hotel because it's supposedly close to the Namba train station - BUT, it's close to the far end of the JR Namba station (10 minutes to walk), but it's a solid 20 minutes to the Osaka-Namba or Namba station, which is what you'll use if you're taking other subways in Osaka or using the Kintetsu line. To Dotonbori, it's 20 minutes by foot and to the Ebisu bridge (shopping area), about 25 minutes depending on how fast your pace is. So while the hotel itself is good, I have to drop the stars because of the location.

The hotel is located in a quite quiet street near to Namba OCAT. Room is a bit small but it is great. Especially love the travel buddy - Handy! Walk to OCAT is about 5mins on foot (very convinient for us to take bus to Kansai Airport on our last day), a little bit far (12~15mins on foot) to Dodonbori & Shinshaibashi area but we really enjoyed the walk even in late night. We can leave our luggage there after checkout. Nothing to complain at all~

Helpful staff and clean”

Hotel room bit small, but can't complain much, they provide shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, face liquid cleanser, moisturaiser, shave cream, and etc.. Amaze me and they do provide free coffee drinks at lobby via coffee blend machine. 600m to OCAT if you want take bus, 650m to JR, about 800-1km to Namba area. Location consider ok, and they do housekeeping everyday. Value for money.

ver near JR Namba station so you wudnt have any difficulty on travelling via train; there's a Family Mart nearby so food is not a problem also. the neighborhood is very nice and welcoming. the staff are always polite and willing to help you. The room is surprisingly spacious for a typical hotel in Japan. Very clean and they'll be providing you all d toiletries that you'll be needing ☺️

A little far away from the Namba station”

The hotel is close to the JR Namba station, but not to the Metro Namba station, which makes it not that well located. It looks like a business neighbourhood around with no restaurants or bars very close, even though you can walk easily to Den Den area. The rooms are japanese size and they have DHC amenities. Breakfast looked a little poor for the price stated (1500 yen/pax) but they offer free coffee. I believe you can find better deals in Osaka if you want a good location for sightseeing.

Value for money; Clean; Spacious”

It’s around 15-20mins walk from Nankai Namba station and 20-25mins to Shinsabashi (but there are a lot of shops while walking along). Highly recommended for travellers taking OCAT bus - it’s just 5 mins walk from OCAT Bus Terminal! We lived in Twin Room and it’s spacious enough for opening two 28’ luggage. It’s more spacious than typical japan hotel room.

Comfortable room”

Room is clean and spacious bedding. I love the amenities coz nothing needs to bring along with. Breakfast is ok and enough. Its good that it is located in the quiet side of JR Namba station. But for Nankai Namba takes a bit walk. Will stay again for my next Osaka Trip.

Hotel situated near to Namba station”

This hotel is situated within walkable distance from Nankai Namba station (you can walk most of the way via an underground shopping mall). The room was very clean and breakfast had a decent variety.

Worth for money, cleanliness superb, staff is nice, facilities excellent”

Everything is good, but the location abit far from the JR namba. Overall, that is a nice hotel. The staff is very nice and hotel able to provide luggage storage for the guest unable to check in before 2pm. well done.

Superb!”

The hotel is a few minutes from the bus and train station. Toiletries provided and other personal kits are great and love the smell of their body wash, shampoo, moisturizer, and lotion as it smells great. The staffs are very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I will go back to Osaka.

The location is okay. It is near JR Namba Station and Metro Sakuragawa and Namba Station. Reception staff are good. Free drinks. Clean environment.
