Staff was nice and service was good. Food on restaurant was good and breakfast also ok. Hotel was close to Kemijärvi center and had parking place available.

It was very hot when we visited at Kemijärvi, so missing air condition was minus, but I assume that it is quite rare to face over +25C temperatures. And there was fan in the room to make conditions ...

Friendly attitude, friendly and caring staff, cozy sauna, wonderful restaurant and wonderful food, comfortable, clean room. We will stay here next time with great pleasure. Besides our family express...

We got excellent service: we had to check out the hotel before 8 a.m., so we couldn't make it to the served breakfast. But we got some juice, bread and a water boiler with instant coffee to the room.

Was here during Juhannuspäivä (June 23-24), business trip. -There was no mention on webpage or confirmation letter about restaurant (and basically hotel) being closed during these days, the only accessible door was at the back side of the hotel (parking lot). -Absence of breakfast next morning (due to entire staff left restaurant next day) though I paid for it and no mention about it on confirmation or anywhere on webpage either. The staff refused to return money for breakfast (~10 EUR) and offered me one sandwich to make up for it. -Staff tried to get me a room I was not paid for. At first, they gave me one wih sauna (which I did not need) that was cheaper and smaller than the one I put money for and only when I pointed at these facts, they gave me a room I booked. -Fridge in the room did not work at all. -WiFi connection was terrible and worked only on certain spots in room.

Laid back, no rush feeling

Lobby/restaurant part was a bit too basic perhaps.

Das Frühstück war ok.Ich hatte das Zimmer nach hinten. Es war ruhig und konnte das Fahrad mit auf das Zimmer nehmen. Erdgeschoss. Ein Entgegenkommen der Wirtin.

Umgebung um Hotel

Die eigene Sauna im Zimmer war wirklich toll und habe ich auch genutzt. Großes und gemütliches Bett. Ausstattung zwar optisch "alt" aber absolut okay. Der Schaukelstuhl war herrlich. Frühstück auch sehr umfangreich und gut. Ebenfalls das Abendangebot ist gut, wenn auch nicht sonderlich günstig, was in Finnland aber auch nicht sehr verwundert.

Die Lage ist sicher nicht der Hit, aber mit Auto alles machbar.

Lunchbuffet is super!
