we love the hotel”

my wife and i stayed at Miramar for two nights last week. it was a pleasant stay for us. have been staying at different hotels during our visits to singapore. the room is large at 25 sq m. room very clean and cosy. large windows to the main road Havelock street. i enjoyed my morning walk along the singapore river lined by landscaped trees. at nights many places within walking distances for beer and chilling out. access to other parts of singapore very easy as taxi is plenty. the one thing we liked most is the morning breakfast. widespread of eastern and western food , freshly prepared. Just before departure, we also had a good japanese lunch at Ikoil. very fresh sashimi at reasonable price. we would come back again and also has no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone. thank you very much Miramar. keep up the good work.

The greatest customer service and problems rectification champion!”

On my table in the room, there is a form for me to do a daily feedback about the customers' need(s) within the room. I pointed out a few problems and I sent in the form at the reception counter when I went out for meetings in the early morning. When I came back in the evening, I found the instant changes and rectification. Later, there was a friendly personnel called me to ask for my level of satisfaction. Even though Miramar Hotel, Clarke Quay is a 4 stars hotel, however, I receive a 5-star treatments. The food in the restaurants are very good and value for money especially the Japanese Buffet at IKOI Japanese Restaurant. The sashimi platter and the seafood soups are fresh, delicious and good with the friendly, patient and helpful kitchen workers/ chefs and waitresses/ waiters. I will definitely come back again.

After reading the reviews before my stay I was a bit concerned that we may encounter some problems, but we had a wonderful stay. The staff was very helpful, spending time arranging taxi pickups for my wife from her conference (which is very difficult in Singapore), the facility was very nice and the dining options near by are wonderful with Robertson Quay right across the street along the river. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Orchard street for shopping with China Town and Clarkes Quay also only 15 minute walks away. My only complaint would be that the exercise room was very bare bones and under sized with only one treadmill and one bike and two weight machines. No free weights or mats.

Very comfortable hotel for a great price with Agoda”

The room was very nice. Huge and comfortable bed, modern bathroom, nice AC that was silent and efficient (temperature always perfect, an important point in super-warm Singapore!). It was very clean. And contrary to other commenters, I found the decor to be modern and quite neutral. We appreciated. The included breakfast was a huge buffet with food from different regions - several types of Asian food, continental breakfast, fruits etc. It was really great!! We regretted that we could not have room service for this breakfast (had to pay additional fees), but still a very good point. Open until 10:30am. And the swimming pool is a very positive note too, never crowded during our time, good temperature water, seats, with palm trees around, etc. The staff could be friendlier but this is a detail compared to all the other points. We had a great time at Miramar hotel!

Incredible value”

The location is great as it's close to CBD, clarke quay, boat quay, and the marina. The only downside is that the nearest MRT is 10-15 minute walk in chinatown. The rooms were fantastic and clean. The staff was accommodating and respectful. We got the service of a 5-star hotel and paid 1/4 the price.

Old hotel, but it still has some legs on it”

The room size and level of cleanliness is better than most of the hotels in the area. I had almost become desensitized to hotels in Singapore strangely having sub standard housekeeping and generally smelling bad, so it was nice to have everything sparkling clean and smelling fresh. Bed is comfy, and about a 10 minute walk to Clarke Quay, so if you don't mind being a little out the way then it's a good choice. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Spacious and value for money”

Room is very spacious compared to other hotels. Very clean too. Altho located in heart of singapore, but still not so accessible as it is not near any mrt stations. But near to clarke quay, so thats cool.

Good Hotel at a Quiet Location near to Boat Quay”

The checkin was smooth and staff is generally professional. My parents were satisfied with the room condition and the cleanliness. They stayed for 6 nights and have no complaint. The morning breakfast's selection and variety was good. The location is more on the quiet side of Boat Quay and is not near to MRT. However, hotel is within walking distance to clarke quay and chinatown.

Exceptional”

Pleasant hotel, walking distance to Clark quay and China town - two of the best spots in Singapore. Friendly staff - gave us complimentary pm check out. Porters really friendly. Nice pool and hot tub with lots of Sunbeds, can order food to poolside.

Check in time is 2pm but they do their best to let us check in early as 9am. we are so happy for that because we just arrived from a very long flight and we are with our 1 y/o son. we will absolutely book hotel miramar again the next time we go to singapore. Clean bathtub always. Suggest iron to use Venus that iron has safety features”

2nd time stay at Miramar and she never fails. The whole room is well clean up. Thumbs up for the Housekeeping team. Cons - iron and iron board need to call housekeeping. Received the iron with very bad base and no safety system. It nearly burnt my clothing during ironing, it kept high heat despite being tuned to the lowest. Suggest to change to VENUS comes with automatic safety system, which I have used it in Sentosa Hotels. Safety comes first.

Great Location & Ammenities”

Located very close to Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay, even can walk to Boat Quay. Easy access to public transports such as buses and MRT. Amenities like gym, swimming pool, spa, free internet (wifi & cable), bar, restaurants are great for business travelers or holidays with family.

A pleasant surprise”

A pleasant surprise for me after I had seen some of the critics made about this place. The hotel is in a good location and has everything a holiday maker and a business traveller needs. The rooms are of a fair size, Wi-Fi was working without any problems, Clark Quay and China Town where in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent space for the money”

The Hotel Miramar was a great choice for us with our 3-year old boy. The room and bed were very spacious so we did not need to pay for extra bedding for him. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The included breakfast was a a buffet style with plenty of choices to keep everyone happy day after day. The only drawback about this hotel was that we had to walk 10-15 minutes to the closest MRT station (China Town). The staff that helped us were always very friendly.

Good value, pretty good location”

We had stayed at another hotel on Robertson Quay in an upgraded room which was was old, tiny and dated. For the same price we stayed at the Miramar and the room was three times as big, food was good and although not quite as close to Robertson/Clark Quay as the previous hotel, it was only a short walk. I would definately stay there again!

Miramar is comfort”

We really liked our 3 night stay and extended it to 4 nights. All the staff are very helpful and friendly too. That includes housekeeping and room service. The pool on the 4th level is quite big and the jacuzzi is nice too. The standard room is bigger than most other hotels for the same money. We will be back again as Long as the with tax price is approx SGD 140 or less. Really good value and comfort at Miramar.

Unbeatable price”

First time staying in this hotel, used to stay in other hotels in the region. The price is extremely attractive and the service is almost close to excellent, the only drawback is with the concierge, the guys there seem not too helpful but the staff at the front desk was exceptionally good. The hotel is not too close to MRT but it is still walking distance to some attractions. The room overlooking singapore river is one of the best views I have with my enormous stays in Singapore hotels. Will come back for sure.

Comfortable Stay. ”

Miramar is excellently located and well connected to the CBD and Orchard Road by bus, for which the stop is at its doorstep. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. I have stayed in this hotel several times and have always looked for it whenever I book my stay in Singapore.

Old style, but large rooms and great location ”

Well located opposite Robinson quay and good breakfast cafes and the river walk to Clark Quay etc. Traditional hotel, so not trendy but the upside is larger rooms. Good value.
