Had just stay in this hotel for six days (Oct 2016) Staffs are really nice and helpful, although not everyone understanding English, they just try very hard to explain everything and help us allot Tidy and clean room Amazing river Got few nice restaurant around If you are looking for a relaxing, slow journey, this is the hotel Not only people in hotel, people around are just nice, welcome and sweet even we didn't speak a single Japanese We just can't forget this journey, there will be a second time for us

A modern designed hotel with traditional Japanese style rooms. The hotel is located in a calm and silent countryside small town. With a great view of the river, the fresh air is a bonus to city people to stay and enjoy. We highly recommend this hotel!!!

Room was clean and spacious, and staff laid out futon nicely. When checking out, we were informed that we had to pay tax for the onsen; would have been nice if we were informed upon check-in, as this did not seem like common practice in the other accommodation with onsens. Set meals (dinner and breakfast) were delicious and restaurant staff were very attentive.

The room was tiny and the view was absurdly obscured.”
We booked the Japanese room and it was tiny. What was more annoying was the facade of the modern design hotel actually covered the window by more than half. What a pity because I could see the beautiful view of the river if I tip toe above the cement wall! The location is right up a hill and next to a star observatory. If you like star gazing then this would be the place to stay in and make sure you come during the new moon and make reservations with the conservotory in advance. The common bath was not the best and also creepy. I would give it a miss next time.

２０３号室に泊まりました。 はっきりとした時間は覚えていませんが、２２時くらいまでハウリングの様な反響音が断続的に発生して不快でしたが、就寝時には無くなったので睡眠には影響はありませんでした。 隣の２０５号室側の壁から音が来ていたので、隣の部屋（の客）が発生源かとも思いましたが、外に出て確認してみると、エレベーターの駆動音がコンクリートを伝っている様な感じがしました。 推測の域ではありますが、断続的だった事も、就寝時には無かった事もエレベーターであれば合点がいきます。 それ以外に関しては快適に過ごせる宿でした。

静かなロケーションで星空が綺麗”
ホテル内にデッキとオープンテラスの屋上があるようです。夜は生憎の天候で星空を眺めることがでにませんでしたが、川を見渡した景色には癒されました。ホテル内は清潔、お風呂やや手狭です。天文台が近くにありますが、事前に予約が必須のようです！

四万十川の脇に建ち、最高に自然豊かな環境。 天気が良ければ満点の星が観られた筈なのに残念でした。 お料理は野菜たっぷりで高知らしいメニュー。味も量も丁度よく大満足でした！！

実際に行ってみて、写真では伝わらないホテル自体の建築のセンスの良さを感じました。 朝食をたべるエリアがガラス張りで雄大な四万十川を見ながら食事できたり、ソファでくつろぐエリアがゆったりしていたり、景色を見て座れるデッキなど。、宿泊をここにしてよかったと大満足でした。食事も美味しかったです。

外観からも近代的で心が踊りました。ロビーも綺麗でありながら自然を取り込んだ作りで、レストランからの景色が絶景。暗くなる寸前からの食事がオススメ。 不満な点は夜が静かなので、ボイラーか換気扇の低周波音が気になり寝付けなかった事ですが、よるホテルの外に出て空を見上げての満天の星空が感動でした。

懐石料理を食べさせていただきましただが、すごく美味しかったです。内観も落ち着いており、立地も静かで良かったです。ただ こちらもちゃんとお願いしたわけではないのですが、布団を敷く時間が夕食中と決まっているのか、着いて早々敷いてもらうことのは出来ないようなフロントの受け応えでした。運転疲れを布団でゴロゴロしたかった(笑)
