Very good for value hotel”
Stayed here to visit the Ashikaga Flower Park and am very happy with this hotel, just about 5 minutes from the Sano Station (coming out from the station, turn left, cross the road and walk through a lane to the hotel). Room has comfy bed, AC, a writing desk/chair, tv, fridge and a kettle and everything is neat and clean. Very much appreciated - the free coffee available at the lobby and the simple but delicious breakfast. Thank you.

The hotel has no signage in ‘English’. Though we had google map but was unsure at first. You have to go up the stairs to to be able to find the hotel reception. Breakfast was ‘Japanese’.

Number of eateries nearby though only the bars open till late. No long hours Ramen here. Has laundry machines. Note that climbing stairs to the lobby is required as the lift is hidden and locked after hours. (though ringing the doorbell may solve this)

Great Food, Very Clean”
Excellent full Japanese breakfast in a nice sunny dining room. Very clean room and bathroom. Room had an electric teapot, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, bathrobe/yukata. Single rooms are the small type I've seen for business travelers - i.e. there's no room for adding a rollaway bed. It is for one person only but the price/value was good. At first it seemed there wasn't any place to put my luggage but then I just moved the trashcan and put my suitcase under the desk. There is no closet - just 2 big wall hooks which was just fine. Big window opens for fresh air and a view of the outside no blockage. When arriving, you can access the elevator from a door on the side of the hotel. Nice extras: ready-made hot water with tea bags in lobby, azuki bean soup available in the evenings, nice firm pillows plus memory foam pillows available. The only slight negative was a change in water pressure that would last about 1 second and then return - presumably caused by toilet flushes but water was otherwise strong and also hot. Location: I was here for a conference so I have no idea why people generally come to Sano. Coming from Tokyo, it seems like a small town. Sufficient number of restaurants close by and 5 minutes walk to train station and a 7-11 convenience store. (I highly recommend the 7-11 brand matcha ice cream). Seems like people here like to grill on hibachi as two restaurants had these. People in restaurants don’t speak English. I got to see Sanomaru, the city’s mascot on one of his promotional outings going to a local shop. Other than that, I didn’t see any interesting shops but I was there when a lot of stuff was closed for the New Year. The immediate area didn’t seem to have any coffee shop but did have bars. If you walk 10-15 minutes west on route 67 you will see 2-3 coffee shops, including a really cute vintage American style cafe that’s opening in March.

A hotel for stopover”
We just stopped over in Sano for one night. Staff was very attentive. He even brought us to the carpark and tried his very best to talk with us in English.

Near to train station and bus station”
It is located near to train station and bus station. But not much restaurant nearby and the staff is polite but just a bit disappointing as they did not provide the Ashikaga Flower Park discount coupon even though I had told them I will be going to the Flower Park until I found it myself but it was too late.

普通かな”
値段も高くはありません。設備等も普通な感じ。朝食のカレーが美味しい動画のクチコミが有りましたが普通ですね。 駐車場がとにかく狭いので、離れた場所を利用しました。数十メートル内なので少し歩くだけでやや広い駐車場を利用できます。受付の男性スタッフはとても丁寧で安心しました。

駐車場無料だがホテルの下は狭い。 設置されている冷蔵庫がうるさい。 通路での話し声が聞こえる。 バスルームが最悪、壁の汚れは「掃除してんのかよ？」と思えるほど。 便座が冷たい。 シャープの加湿空気清浄機のフィルター(裏面)がホコリまみれ。 グラスが無く、置いてあるメラニンのカップが汚くて使う気にならない。 コンセントが少なく、三個口トリプルタップが差し込んである。 ドライヤーも汚い。 何があってももう絶対利用しない。

Webサイトや確認メール上ではチェックアウトが11:00と書いてあり、その時間までゆっくりしようとしてたがフロントの方に10時ですと強く言われ威圧感があった。11:00になると延長料金と言われたが、チェックイン時にそのような説明があるともっといいと思いました。夜には廊下に下着姿の酔っ払っている中年の男性が、ふらふらしていて壁にぶつかったり、客室のドアによっかかっていたりと気分が悪くなりました。不審者対策をしっかりして欲しいと感じました。お泊まりになる皆様お気をつけください。
