The best 3 star hotel in PD”

Location- very easy to find. Just opposite Port Dickson beach. Walking distance to KFC and other food stalls/ restaurants Staffers- friendly and helpful. 5 stars Room (4 people)- room is spacious and clean, the bathroom/toilet is very small, obese people will have difficulties to shower, but for normal/average size people, just nice. Aircond, TV and hot shower are in good conditions. Swimming Pool- small but just nice. At least they have pool 😊 Breakfast- The best. Variety of food and taste delicious. Overall, I am really happy and satisfied with Hotel Seri Malaysia PD.

Fantastic location and a decent hotel”

Seri Malaysia Port Dickson has the usual standard of most Seri Malaysia hotels around the country. The location is perfect as it is at the very centre of PD coast and nearby to many shops and facilities thus making it a good base to explore PD further. The room given was clean, the breakfast spread was good and the staffs were polite. For future plan, perhaps the management can enlarge the pool as it is too small even by Asian standard. Thats the only low point of this hotel. This is a decent property.

Small Swimming Pool & No Internet Available ”

My priority for the hotel is a comfortable swimming pool, wifi and a clean place for my children if i traveling with family. But at Hotel Sri Malaysia Port Dickson the pool is very small. Also do not use internet in the room. It is very difficult for me with child to go to Lobby for using internet. Today’s internet is needed everywhere. Good and delicious the food, nice staff and hotel location are very strategic near night market, clinic, pharmacy and dining outlets.

Nice hotel location - walkable to Pantai Saujana”

The hotel is located at very nice location - nearby Pantai Saujana, Port Dickson. Near to Kings CKT, KFC and few other restaurant. If you want to enjoy fine sand beach, this is the hotel you should stay. Walkable distance to Pantai Saujana, Port Dickson. Weekdays rate from RM90.. 😊

Facilities quite poor”

but the rest are okay since its near to the beach. the staff are friendly though.. i love staying in this hotel it brings me nostalgic memory. Thank you Seri Malaysia for keep standing still until today.

Ok value for a budget hotel. ”

We just spent 2 night at Hotel Seri. We've been spoilt so far staying at Grand Lexus and Avillon so we can't compare Hotel Seri to those as that would be like comparing apples to oranges. Hotel Seri is a budget hotel at a fraction of the price of the two just mentioned. We're from Australia and we'd call this a motel. It's located directly opposite a nice beach, and walking distance to food stalls which is a big positive. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok, we had a piece of toast but that was about it as everything had run out by time we got to breakfast. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear the people in the next room and their tv. The hotel itself is clean enough, it's just a little old. You have to chase the water in the shower but we spent most of the time in the ocean anyway. It's ok value for the price and because we used it as just a place to sleep, but it's not the sort of hotel you'd stay in to relax or sit around the pool. Best positive was parking immediately in front of our room. Room tip-request a room on the lower floor that has tiles instead of carpet - it's cooler and cleaner. There's quite a few budget hotels in PD so we'll probably try somewhere else next time. Not because Hotel Seri was bad, just because it's in a price bracket with a lot of competition and we like to try somewhere different.

Needs some attention to the rooms”

Seri Malaysia is located across the road from the beach at Port Dickson and next to the pasar malam (night market)and about 500mts from the bottom of the N8 road leading to Kampung Barisan on which the Port Dickson International Triathlon cycling section is held, we were there for some training so stayed overnight to enjoy the sea and beach. The hotel is not quite as luxurious as the pictures depict and our "family room" was just a longer room with two double beds, the wardrobe doors were not working properly, the bathroom didn't have a bath and the door couldn't fully open because it was obstructed by the shower, we had an issue with a sticky electric contactor and the aircon trip and controller are conveniently hidden behind the curtains so it took a bit og time to figure out how to get it on, however, the location for our needs was pretty good, we had a great cycle and the surrounding countryside off the N8 road is lovely and the road conditions excellent for Malaysia, so was perfect for our cycling trip. Breakfast was the normal offering of nasi lemak, beans, sausages and some toast or cereal, once again, we werent really expecting much, we just took the food as more functionalthan luxurious. We might stay there again if there was a cheaper room, we had to take the family room because it was the only one left, if we paid half the price for a normal double room, I could accept the cost, for what we paid the room was not value for money.

Old but gold”

As expected from Seri Malaysia Hotel. The location of the hotel is very good as it is just a walking distance from hotel room to the beach. The beach is not as crowded as Teluk Kemang hence better location to have a bath at the sea. Since the location is very near to the beach, all the attractions are also quite near to drive to. The windmill petting farm is just about 6 mins from hotel and it is a must go for family with small kids. My son really love going there as the pet are very tame and he can pet them. On the downside, the hotel is already quite old maybe around 15+ years? It is time for the hotel to renovate and give it a fresh look. Overall, it was a good decision to stay here and have fun with your family.

If u r looking for a room with clean sheets, stench free, with a clean toilet n shower, priced at a budget, located near food n in the middle of everything, this is it. It is a very aged hotel, though not spotless, everything had been kept clean. The nasi lemak chicken chop at their cafe is nice. Breakfast is basic n nice. This is a hotel that fulfills needs.

Average Stay”

The hotel staff and room service was just okay. The room was not bad but still it was not good either. The bathroom was really very small. I felt really difficult to get a good bath. the bedsheets were torn and dusty. The room service phone does not work. Basiclly the phone's only for display purpose. Sad. The chairs in the room were very dusty i did not dare sit on it. Lucky thing i brought my own bedsheets and pillowcases just incase. The facilities sucks. A pools that looks like a pond and 2 massage chairs (the one you find at malls pay RM 1 for 2mins). Like seriously? 😑. Moving on the only good thing about this hotel is the beach. Its just across the road. But still the roads are really dangerous to cross espeacially for kids and old people. The drivers dont give time for the pedestrians to walk😒. Oh and how can i forget the buffet? I totally get it its a hotel under government support and i have no problem with that but seriously the nasi goreng has literally no taste.I pay money for this and not only i deserve good food everyone does. Its our money!RM330 for 2 nights is not worth the money.. However Thank You Hotel Seri Malaysia for the shelter. 😊

best stay facing the beach”

the price is affordable and the breakfast provided was soo good. the parking area is large and everything is near the hotel. the beach is facing the hotel even though i have to cross the road to go to beach but it has very nice view. lovee it 🖤

Check in time 3PM instead of written 2pm”

Arrived there about 1.45pm but declined for check-in because rooms not ready, I was surprised to heard that this hotel check in time is 3pm instead of the standard time of 2pm even written 2pm in Agoda. Got no choice to hang around at KFC and the beach to kill time while waiting for check in. The room's Aircond just switch can manually switch on and off by switch but cannot be control by the remote control at all. We don't know the preset temperature and freezing cold at night. The shower section in bathroom is very clammed. Swimming pools are small and crowded by hotel guests. Breakfast not bad, simple and fair with such price.

Place to get a decent night's sleep.”

The hotel could have been operating quite a number of years. There are wear and tear visible throughout the hotel premises i.e. signs are blur and maybe need a new coat of paint, old and worn furniture placed near the corridors and function rooms, etc. Our room is sparsely furnished, but can see the furniture are quite worn out. There is only 2 electrical sockets which are for the TV and fridge and no where else. The reception is friendly though and quick check in and check out. I have always seen in my various travels (in Malaysia) of Seri Malaysia chain of hotels and have always wondered how is it like. My chance came when I wanted a weekend getaway to PD and since it was the start of the school holidays, all other decent hotels in PD is fully booked. Now that I have tried it, one should not expect anything from Seri Malaysia except a decent night sleep as it looks like a budget hotel though the price is not. However, I am grateful breakfast is inclusive. Thank you.

To the management of Seri Malaysia PD, please upgrade your hotel uptodate. Promise with wifi but none. Tv channels are b***s**t. The water pressure is just like a PD wave. Your breakfast buffet not so. And your 20 over years swimming pool need to upgrade. Tq

Seri Malaysia at PD”

We went to celebrate Dipawali at MBA Pooja Bari.Reached hotel on 22nd and they offered a second floor room but my wife had problem to move up and down using staircase and immediately they arranged a ground floor room.I was there for two nights and enjoyed free breakfast and sea-beach beauty. This was tension free comfortable stayin PD.

Strategic place”

The receptionist is good,polite and yeah pretty. Once we enter the room, there's one weird smell. The smell is like the room is not being stayed for long time. so i have to spray my perfume for the entire room. However this hotel has strategic place that is in the middle of PD. Infront of the hotel got beach (walking distance) and beside got pasar malam every saturday (if i not mistaken), near to Waterfront and also near to Teluk Kemang.
