"Yes sir, if it makes you happy"”

What a great surprise! We left Jodhpur angry at India's service industry and leave Jaisalmer delighted. Daniel from Tokyo Palace picked us at the station late at night to drive us to the hotel, and this for free. Upon check-in we had the great surprise to be 'upgraded' to the suite as it was free and the staff wanted to make us happy. The room was gorgeous, it seemed that we were residing in an old Marwar Donjon. The only thing that we were still in need of was food. Daniel took care of this and cooked for us after midnight just for us to not go to sleep hungry. We decided to prolong our stay of a couple of extra days and stayed in this hotel for about a week. The staff has always been fantastic with us and did everything they could to make our stay an enjoyable one! Additionally, the restaurant on top is a bomber! Pande, the cook, and his assistant are wonderful people cooking wonderful food. They also have made our stay truly special. Much love, To all of you guys, thank you !

very good hotel with beautiful clean and spacious rooms with good amenities. food is also good though little expensive but quantity is more.staff is friendly and helpful. location is also good very near to fort and other places. thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tokyo palace and jaisalmer..

Loved it!”

myself and two friends stayed at tokyo palace for one night on our way around rajasthan. we were met at the railway station by a staff member who took us to the hotel however it is really not far from the station at all. 3 of us shared a deluxe double room, and there was plenty of space. the rooms were very nicely decorated and incredibly clean. there was no ac in our room but the ceiling fan was fine. the staff were very chatty and friendly and keen to help. this included free use of their computer and even a quick lift to the post office. the restaurant served decent food, although it took a while to serve. on our way back through jaisalmer, they let us come and wait at the hotel again, even though we had no booking, to shower and take a swim. very impressed by the genuine hospitality here. shame we only stayed 1 night.

Great facilities & good location”

had a great stay at tokyo palace, was only for a day though, would have loved to stay more. right from the pick up till check out everything was very well planned. this hotel is quite close to the fort ,just a 5 mins walk, also the bus stop. hence location is really comfortable. above all facilities are really nice..would definitely recommend this place if you plan to visit to jaisalmer.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Tokyo Palace! It is the perfect base for exploring Jaisalmer - it’s very clean, with lovely rooms, great AC, and very comfy beds. Budget stay with a nice swimming pool”

This place is like an oasis in the desert. This hotel is no doubt to be one of the best budget hotels in Jaisalmer. Ideally located, the hotel is just 5-10 min walk from the bus stand and the Jaisalmer Fort. Upon arrival, we were given a free upgrade - deluxe room with balcony. Quite impressed with that, we were in for a surprise when we entered the room. The room was big with a queen size bed and a diwan. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Sleep quality was awesome and so was the Air Conditioner. No bathroom amenities other than a soap. The shower pressure was OK. The swimming pool was nice and it was our savior to beat the heat. We also tried the food in the roof top restaurant - it was not bad at all. Few items were delicious esp Parantas and the Panner butter masala. The staffs are quite friendly and helpful. Yeah, they do have Desert Safaris also. Overall, this place is a definite value for money! Thumb Up!

Great property and very friendly and helpful staff”

We had a really nice time staying at Tokyo Palace. The property is very nice and comfortable, with a swimming pool open from 9 to 8 just perfect to refresh in the unbelievably hot weather. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing fort view and the location is great, with a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the fort and lake. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, always available and worried for our comfort and providing to our every need. Specially Sakhi. He picked us up from the train station promptly at 1 a.m. even though our train was one hour late, free of charge.  They helped us with our bookings, transportation arrangements and tours and everything went according to our expectations. Could have not expected any better price quality relation. I will definitely come back,  Thank you for everything!

Beautiful hotel and very clean rooms”

Me and my boyfriend have been living in india for 1 year already and we travel usually during weekends. We decided to book a hotel for the first time since we always go without anything booked and this hotel was totally a win, clean rooms, clean bedsheets, AC, bathtub, clean towels and TV and fridge! Although we visit Jaisalmer during low season the restaurant made efforts to offer as much variety of food as they could. The location is very good, 10 minuts walk from the fort and away from any noises.

Nice hotel”

During our family trip to Rajasthan in Jan 19, we stayed in Hotel Tokyo palace, Jaisalmer for 2 nights. It is located near Jaisalmer fort. The room was spacious, cleanliness of the room & bathroom is good, staff is very polite, but there is a Hot water problem, it is not available for 24 hours. You can get hot water in between 7 to 10 am only.

We recently stayed at this place during our visit to Jaisalmer. The hotel boasts all the qualities of a star hotel.. A very good team at the front office and a good team to handle travel related matters.. That is where Sakhi comes into picture.. We really made us feel like home and took special care of us all through out our stay at this hotel. Right from picking us up, arranging our travel to the Sand dunes, getting us around for shopping, showing us some hidden places, including local eating joints, until the time he dropped us back to the station. We were also upgraded to the suite during our stay which is a nice gesture.. Overall, an enjoyable stay at this place.. The highlight of my stay was this person named Sakhi Khan, who was with us at all times.. very commendable job Sakhi.. All the best

Pleasant experience ”

I had a great time staying here at jaisalmer. Though it was only for one night. The location of this place from the Fort is excellent. It's jus a walkable distance The food was good & room was clean though we got a room in the ground floor It would hv been better if we got a room in the first or second floor No complains but for one night The staffs were very welcoming & helpful Would definitely like to come again

Great stay, great food”

We really enjoyed our three nights here in Jaisalmer. The restaurant on the roof turned out to be one of the best options for us in the whole area, and the staff all around was really friendly and helpful, including the free pick-up and drop-off to the train station. Our room was spacious, and the a/c kept it cool even with the heat outside. Would definitely stay again. Only issue we had at all was that the wifi did not reach well into our corner Suite room, so we had to use it from the rooftop. Would also be great if they added a filtered water machine so we didn't have to go through so many plastic bottles during our stay.

They Had Great Tour”

I stayed in dorm, the room was not clean. But the rooftop restaurant was great with the view of Jaisalmer Fort. They had arranged desert safari tour that amazing. Please choose to stay one night camping in the desert, which is the cheapest but greatest.

We love every bits of this hotel. It is located very near to train station (the staff will patiently wait for you for a free ride to the hotel!), the room was totally awesome! the food served on the roof top restaurant was delicious! Highly recommended for all Muslim traveller too. Friendly staff - you will instantly feel like a family at Tokyo Palace. I seriously in love with this place.

We stayed at Tokyo Palace during my Rajasthan group tour. Hotel rooms are clean and nice. Food is also good. There is a swimming pool in the premises of the hotel. Hotel staff is kind and helpfull for all customers needs. Definetely will stay next time there again and can recommend it to other travellers.

What a pleasant stay! Particularly the rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed the most, never go to other places to eat except for the food at Tokyo Palace. Awesome view overlooking the fort and what a nice place to chill up there. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to enjoy Jaiselmer from”

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It is the perfect place to experience Jaiselmer from. There were four of us travelling and we had two rooms. The entire hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The roof top restaurant is relaxing and the food was good. I have been in jaiselmer 6 times now and will return again next year. I am hesitant to recommend it as I am afraid it will become harder to book for my upcoming trips and the price could increase. I would definitely stay in this hotel with my tour groups on all future trips to Jaiselmer. The fort gate is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I also recommend the corner food stall at the entrance to the hotel. The food is clean, and the cook was amazing.

The best service we’ve received in India”

We had a fantastic stay at Tokyo Palace. A short walk to the fort entry and outstanding views from the restaurant. The staff could not be faulted - they were friendly and always helpful, helping with transport and tour bookings at good rates. A special mention to Daniel who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. For a hotel in the middle of the desert, this is a great value for money option

The best place we had in Jaisalmer”

We booked this hotel as we were in Jaisalmer, and we found this place to be the best of all places we went to. Thanks for friendly staff, and restaurant has the best veg thali we had in Rajasthan, better than Choki Dhani (which was pretty good but too spicy for us).
