Highly recommended! Excellent Hotel with Very Helpful Staff”
Highly recommend Hotel Wing International Kyoto-Shijo Karasuma! The hotel is new, clean, quiet with good amenities. It even provide skincare samples from the famous brand DHC. Everything is excellent. On top of that, Hotel Wing staff Ms. Mabuchi was very helpful and tried her best to help. I left my belongings at previous hotel that cannot speak English, after she understood the whole situation, she helped to communicate with the previous hotel and I was able to get my things back. Thanks!

Great location ”
This is a pretty central place with the metro lines. You can even get the train to Osaka for the same spend on metro trips in conjuction with a JR pass. The hotel is very modern and clean. The TVs can be used as a mirror to your device like Apple TV which is nice to watch stuff on the iPad. I chose the small room and though comfortable, there’s no space to open your suitcase except to put it on your bed to do so. It’s still good value for money considering everything.

Modern new finishes, great location, and incredible value for money. The room and bathroom is very small by Western standards, but normal for Japanese hotel rooms. Upgrade to a bigger room if that is a concern. We appreciated the clean chic modern design and of all my hotel room stays, it was the only room that was actually cool and comfortable with a controllable thermostat versus having the heat cranked all the way to 23C/73F on auto winter settings. Honestly, I still am so so amazed at how affordable this hotel was for what it is.

The room are cozy , the toilets are great, the mattress are very comfortable. I saw a comment mentioned that can not store luggage after check out. But It has no problem for us to store luggages before and after check out. Highly recommended. Location are great as nearby the shopping area with lot of food choices. Staff are great too.

I did not research the neighborhood first but found it to be in a perfect location for the subway - which had a Starbucks right at the entrance as well - always a plus! The room was small but that's not where I spend my vacation. It had all we needed. The welcome drink was a nice touch. They had laundry available and that was a necessity. The staff had some English - certainly enough to help. One staffer went out of his way to show us that there was a Pokemon Center nearby when he noticed my child's Nintendo Tshirt. I highly reccomend this lovely hotel.

Had the best stay”
Had the best stay here, and I miss it already. Room was great and value for our money. When we went out later in the afternoon, we expected that they wouldn’t make up our room or restock the items but we would return and a bag of restocked amenities would be outside our door, which was so kind of them. There was a humidifier provided in the room as well, and it helped with the dryness of the weather and the AC. If I were to go back to Kyoto, I would choose this hotel over and over again.

First, its a good hotel, clean room, and good location. The service staffs is excelent. They help me find my 14 days jr pass which is loss inside fusimi inari by contacting local policeman and jr officer. Very grateful of their help

Comfortable hotel - value for money - within the Hankyu Line”
This is my second stay at Wing Hotel in Japan. The first time when I was in Tokyo. Enjoyed it very much. The rooms has all the facilities you need, comfortable bed and my favourite - the bathtub. Pros - next door there's a nice café for coffee and simple breakfast, many convenient store within walking distance, bus stop - about 5 minutes walk. Nearest subway is about 10 minutes leisure walk. Look for exit with elevator. The station is within Hankyu Line - easy to go to Arashiyama (Bamboo Forest), Gion (need to change to one station), shopping district (Takashimaya etc) Cons - if you have luggage, it is a bit of walk.

Location is perfect for visiting Kyoto. Room we had was very nice, clean and big. The staff is very kind and efficent. Small presents for children and kimono-pigiamas for all the family in the room.

We had a really relaxing time. We rent a car so we need to parking lot. Staff’s conduct to many places we can parking a car near by hotel. And we like the all design of room in hotel. Even lobby is very japanese style. We want to stay next time. Thank you for help all hotel’s staff. I love kyoto and this hotel.

Spent 1 night here in a triple room with my family. Was expecting room to be very very tiny due to the price I paid which was not a lot. Surprising it was ok, there was room for our 2 large bags and multiple carry on bags. Location is great with easy access to the station.

The staff was really great! I forgot my backpack in a bus and they assisted me in chasing after the back and I could collect it a few hrs later at e lost and found office. Thank you very much again!
