Baan Grood Beach,Ban Krut Beach - View on map"It was a bit of a fluke,going to Ban Krut beach, but I really enjoyed both the beach and the resort.
The food was good, they served a comprehensive breakfast buffet, there was a nice coffee shop and a good spa connected to the resort, there were other good restaurants within walking distance, the hotel had bicycles to use for free, and the swimming pool was wonderful. I'll be back! "

Baan Grood Beach,Ban Krut Beach - View on map"We had a wonderful stay at Ban Krut Resort! We were given a friendly greeting with details about everything we needed to know about our stay. Clean towels, linens, plenty of water, and other necessities were provided in the rooms, which were very comfortable! The resort itself is in the midst of a coconut grove on the beach, with many amazing restaurants nearby. Bikes were also provided free of charge for transportation, which were perfect for the safe, quiet road that the resort is on. The hotel even called a taxi for us, which gave a lovely tour of the nearby temples! I will definitely return if given the opportunity, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering visiting the lovely town of Ban Krut!"

This quirky little oasis was everything we had hoped for and more. Super chilled, clean and friendly. Ideally located, along with lots of free extras really was a one off find.

Baan Grood Beach,Ban Krut Beach - View on map"The staff are very friendly and the room comfortable enough, but I don't really like the design of the resort. There are a number of small swimming pools and I'd rather have one large pool. We were in a bungalow which had, I think, 5 other close bungalows in a semi circle around a small pool. There is no privacy on your balcony or in your room, without closing the curtains. There are also design problems inside the bungalows, for instance the bathroom mirror has been set so low on the wall that to see myself I had to bend over, and I'm not tall! By no means the worst experience, but I'd look elsewhere next time."

This was a nice surprise in Ban Krut! The hotel is new and clean and the room had a contemporary look. Great wifi and I could see the beach from my bed. Due to rebranding, part of hotel is under some renovation i.e. swimming pool, room and unfortunately, we have problem with running water in the morning and it took few hours to resolve around 10 am. Breakfast is simple, not like other D Varee.
