It was the best place we have ever stayed in Singapore. The location was perfect! The MRT station was in the mall right across the street and there were very many food choices everywhere! Just beside the hotel was a place where you can get Chinese, Indian food at rock bottom prices. Across the street is the City Square Mall where the top floor was a Kopitiam with everything you want to eat as far as Singapore Cuisine is concerned. The lower floors also have well known restaurants where both Asian and Western food was available. The best thing was that taxis are abundant every minute,and you can buy anything you want in the Mustafa Center which is just behind the hotel.

As hotel just next to mrt station, it's quit easy to go everywhere you want. Turn to back side can easy find a local multifunctional shopping mall out over there, City square mall, where's a combination place which including international cuisine restaurants, fast food court, supermarket, torus, outlet, trendy wears, jewelry shoppes, especially have a game zone n a baby sandland for fun, it's absolutely a check-in location for family fun there.

We were able to find a special deal for this hotel, making it a very affordable option in Singapore for a 5 star hotel. When checking in, we were given a free upgrade as they had run out of rooms due to hosting a conference for the dates we were there! We were upgraded to the SkyLine rooms, which have a great view and their own separate lounge and pool. The pool on the 6th floor was HUGE (50 m pool) and really nice - there weren't that many poolside chairs in the water, but it wasn't very busy so we never had problems finding a space. The bathroom was very luxurious and we loved that they supplied all the amenities we could possibly need. The MRT was super close by (just across the road) and City Square Mall (a multi-storey shopping centre) was also extremely close by. There were plenty of food options around. Service was fantastic - very polite and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here.

It is the second time we went to this hotel for his good ration price/Comfort and great location. The staff were helpful as well as last time and upgrade us for a little amount for Deluxe room to get a refrigerator in room. Also the room was bigger than the one we booked. This location is very near MUSTAFA shopping Center open 24/24, huge and economical department store. Near as well from BUGIS & SIM LIM Square, just opposite. Also 5mn from the new ROCHOR MRT station. I recommend to people who will stay few days to buy a ezLink Credit card to avoid to make a line each time we take the MRT. And this card will be valid for their next trip to Singapore. I discover as well the Application GRAB taxi to easily book a taxi whatever you are and within minimum time. It works great and taxi arrived before your expectation. The App show you where the taxi is in real time on the way to pic you up. You know in Sing it is not always easy to get a taxi at pick time. I will certainly come back to this hotel my next trip to Singapore as we fill at home in that location as many facilities around become familiar and make us feel at home.

The room is very good for the value of what you paid for and they are really cleaning it every day, changing the towels and toothbrush everyday and with complimentary bottled water. They have the heat and cold shower as well. When we checked out they allowed us to left our things in the reception without fee. Our overall stay in this hotel is excellent.

Was skeptical at first when booked the hotel since it is in the heart of famous Little India street . Upon arrival, were surprised as the place is very modern and clean. Some are even opened 24 hrs. As a business traveler, the hotel is near to some good Indian restaurants and convenience shops, plus 10 minutes walk to 24 Hrs Mustaffa shopping center. Hotel shower is the best. The water pressure is simply awesome. With regards to the hotel staffs, they are able to speak English rather well. Even the front desk person allowed 1 hr complimentary late check out without hassle. The only thing they need to improve is on late check in time at 3pm, could improve on it. Overall, I am satisfied with the service and recommend those with couple, business traveler & families to consider this hotel. (Thank you)

Walk through the park to the Sturdee street. When you reach sturdee street, walk to your left until you reach an intersection and cross the street to the kitcherner link road ...Kam Leng Hotel is very accessible for leisure and business purposes. Just follow the natural curves of the roads. At the end of kitchener link, you can see City Square Mall. The Farrer Park station is in the basement of the mall. Mustafa Center, meanwhile is right accross the City Square Mall. From the Farrer Park Station, everything singapore has to offer is just a train away.

Room and attached bathroom was clean but very small. Location in heart of Little India was only 2m from Farrer Park MRT and a stones throw from City Square Mall so finding a variety of food and supplies was convenient. This room would likely suit a solo traveler as there was very little room to move. I would definitely recommend booking to stay here, having been to Singapore many times on business and normally staying in the CBD area this was a welcomed change. The hotel is clean, the rooms are small but for a city break that shouldn't be an issue. The location is excellent with the Rochar MRT less than 5 minutes walk and Little India Station less than 10. Perfectly located for Visiting Marina Bay Sands, Garden on the Bay and also Santosa Island or Bugis. The only negative to this hotel was that from my room on the 3rd floor I could hear load music playing from a bar outside until 3am. This didn't stop me sleeping and I would still chose to stay here again when taking everything else into consideration. I booked room only and would recommend doing this, there is a hawker stall just behind the hotel and there are loads of amazing places for brunch around Singapore. A good choice for budget hotel in Singapore.

Cute pretty rooms, with amazing oriented staffs, what else is there to ask for? Did I forget to mention they provide complimentary free flow of canned soft drinks and ice bucket? YASSSSS gurllll!

We stayed at the hotel with our young baby who decided it would be fun to hide my wife's Raybans under the bed. We didn't realise until we returned to Australia. An email to Perak was replied to within 5 minutes, the sunglasses were located less than 30 minutes later and they were posted to Australia the next day. They arrived less than a week later and packaged according to our wishes. This was fantastic service and it is refreshing to find such integrity. All of the staff were very willing to help with the special needs with our baby including use of the microwave whenever we needed it. The staff also provided us with tourist advice which helped us save money and were ever ready to help. The hotel is on the edge of Little India which is a better cultural experience than staying in a large hotel chain. Sim Lim tower is across the road offering cheap electronics. There are several cheap and good restaurants close by. Little India market is about a 2 minute walk offering clothes and crafts. For a 3 star hotel, I would definitely recommend it based on our experience.

So maybe adjustable wall tv stand would be better.. the hooks behind the door won't help much if you put a hanging bar, with few hangers( can Hang more clothes). Or under the bed you can do a mini door like a mini cupboard to put luggages. That will save more space and everybody is happy. I've been hoping 3 stars hotel when Im on leave and this is one of the best price with good amenities. Look forward to see you again sandpiper
