However for my recent visit, I stayed there during the peak season (after new year), so the check-in queue was very long, and I spent 2 hours of my first day only for checking in to the hotel. Moreover, I booked 3 rooms but the rooms were not ready until about 5pm. So I can only hang around Orchard waiting for the room keys. And poor my grandparents, they cannot have a rest on that afternoon since the rooms weren't ready yet. I have nothing to suggest but only to fasten the check-in service especially during the peak time. The hospitality was felt nothing if we cannot even get our rooms ready on time. But I should give thumbs up to the breakfast buffet with wide ranges of good food, and the concierge service with their prompt response and friendly helps.

Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! Overall, worth the upgrade of 50$ from your usual 100$-range hotel line. Cons, not a lot of cable channels, tub-size is same as other 3-stars, but much much cleaner. No free breakfast. But other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those that don't want to spend for 5-star hotels, but want an upgrade from the 3-star range.

We got 3 non-smoking rooms for a 6D-5N family holiday not knowing what was in store since this was a new hotel. It was hard looking for a hotel that was perfect for a family with kids and an infant and one which should be accessible, affordable and clean. It was hard looking for a hotel that was perfect for a family with kids and an infant and one which should be accessible, affordable and clean. Judging from most of the cheap hotels online it was a gamble to take this hotel since it didn't have much of feedback and most of the 3 star hotels around the area were given really horrible feedback. When we got to the hotel the lobby was clean and spacious and most importantly the staff were all smiles and friendly. But wait til we see the room since we specifically asked for non-smoking rooms. Guess what, it was bigger than expected and the tub was clean. Whew! The carpet and linen were clean, the bathrooms were spic and span and we even got hot water. Everything was in working condition and we even had a fridge and a safety deposit box. I'd say this is the best 3 star hotel I've seen so far and I'd go back there anytime.

Didn't stop on day-1, but the excellent staff service continued everyday as we were even showed a shortcut way to walk to the Mt.E hospital and were also borrowed an umbrella to be carried around the malls surrounding the hotel (Ion Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Paragon, Takashimaya and other malls on Orchard Rd.), which we considered as one of the most convenient features in terms of hotel location. We'd also like to recommend the in-room order of the chef's 'beef hor fun noodle' menu..taste delightful. Love the room for it's very spacious deluxe room (almost the same size as usually a junior suite), nice room layout, lightings and comfy bedroom furnitures, which really made us feel like home. I absolutely think to repeat my stay here on my next visits to Singapore, simply because of this hotel's 1st rank service that can win the guest's smile..hence becomes our 1st hotel preference.

This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

Only real disappointment was the female receptionist at check-in who was very inattentive, aloof and unwelcoming. Only real disappointment was the female receptionist at check-in who was very inattentive, aloof and unwelcoming. All in all, our impression is that the Ascott Orchard is a great property that could be even greater with reception staff who have actual experience and/or training in the hospitality industry.

My baby loved crawling over the carpeted room. I got King Size Bed. They also provided double queen size bed for the twin deluxe room. You also can have microwave in the room (plus point). The bathroom is quite big with bathtub and shower. They also have connected room between king size & double queen room. Breakfast Decent breakfast with limited menu (maybe because I order via Travel Agent, I got different breakfast than others) :( Service The service is very good. At the first, I got dissapointed because they give double queen room instead of king room. It takes about 15 mins to change the card key. But the bell boy was very friendly & cheerful to make me more patient. I also enjoy the hospitality of the room service aunty on the 11th floor. She always smiled in the morning when take my laundry bag. And the most important thing, the recepsionist manager upgraded my parents room from superior to double queen size room. AND THEY DO PROVIDE 2 SHOWER CAPS & 2 SETS OF TOOTHBRUSH WITH TOOTHPASTE. I dont understand why people claim there isnt any. But I have just a tiny wish that the main room light could be alittle brighter. Location is almost the best you can get for $100 a night in Orchard Road. Breakfast is Toast, Juice & Coffee. If you have travelled far & wide you should know it is as good as it can get. Some hotels such as H81 or similar don't even serve you any breakfast with almost the same price at some other areas. At least it does save you a meal per day & get you on your way. I feel they are rather like a hostel & i am happy with my stay. Would give it a full 3 stars for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

They tried their best with the request and I was granted an early check in! Knowing that I was going to be driving in and out to execute the surprise, she provided me with spare parking coupons so I would not have to keep going back to reception to ask for it. Also, our room was decorated with a pair of love swan towels and a complimentary cake in courtesy of HFC for our anniversary. After the introduction, the staff even reminded me of the complimentary evening drinks that came together with my booking and where it was taking place. On the day of checkout, I tried my luck to see if I could get a late checkout so we could spend more time there. Again, my request was granted. Overall I must say I'm really satisfied with the sincerity and hospitality of all the hotel staff there. They are a fine example of excellent customer service and I will definitely come back for another stay. I also love the colonial touch of the building amidst all that greenery and I specially love the scent at the hotel lobby. If possible, I hope to know the concoction of that scent. I booked a room with notes : high floor n no connecting door because we are about to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we don't want to be disturb by some noise from the next door. The staff up front are very quick to assist you with transportation needs. Buffet for breakfast and dinner is excellent. Highly recommended for stay with children (although pool and facilities are not too exciting for young children), or a stay for any occasion.

The room itself is well equipped and exceptional; I stayed in their loft 2-stories room. It was minimalist and very well designed. I was very pleased with my stay, and I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you Lloyd's Inn for the warm hospitality!

How many 3 star hotels offer bedroom slippers, hair dryer, a fridge, a safe, and bathroom fittings reminiscent of a 4 or 5 star hotel? My only complaint was the noise from the water outlet in the bathroom. It's about a 400 metres walk on level ground from the train station and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. Good points: At the time of booking we requested a room near the lift and were granted with one right outside the lifts! Bad points: Our view was of the wall of Forum Shopping mall next door unfortunately but we weren't too fussed about this.

We decided to return to the Y@OneOrchard, an under-rated hotel stuck between the magnificent National Museum and SOTA (School of the Arts). Dhoby Ghaut MRT (N-S Line) is barely 200 meters away. Our room was on Level 8 looking down on Orchard Road. It is immaculately cleanly with ensuite. On Level 9 is a relaxing area with a large swimming pool. The Y Cafe is on Level 4. Lovely buffet breakfast with satisfying variety. After almost a month of spicey stir-fried food, if was lovely to settle back and enjoy fresh salad, nice coffee and simple Western meals like the lovely fish and chips for dinner at the Y Cafe. The YMCA is a charity that does good deeds. The YMCA@OneOrchard is a peaceful retreat. Daily rate is half of many 4-starred hotels in Singapore. Highly recommended.
