Find hotels near Kamppi Shopping Centre in Helsinki, Finland

It was 40 years since my first visit to Helsinki when I stayed at the Student Summer Hotel in Otaniemi so this was luxury. A larger than usual single room with furniture of Finnish design, TV and minibar, and a nice ensuite. Everything was clean and tidy. I loved the silver birch tree trunks and the murals in the breakfast room and the food was good too. A larger than usual single room with furniture of Finnish design, TV and minibar, and a nice ensuite. Everything was clean and tidy. I loved the silver birch tree trunks and the murals in the breakfast room and the food was good too. After discovering the route to the station via Kamppi and the Forum Shopping Centres without the need to get wet or cold, I would definitely stay there again. Kiitos.

We stayed 1 night in December on our way to Laplands - it was cheaper than 3* hotels in the city centre and included breakfast. Rooms are nice with lots of table space and very nice toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel). Large buffet breakfast selection in nice restaurant. Receptionist was helpful in getting us tram times and bus times to the airport on the ...We stayed 1 night in December on our way to Laplands - it was cheaper than 3* hotels in the city centre and included breakfast. Rooms are nice with lots of table space and very nice toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel). Large buffet breakfast selection in nice restaurant. Receptionist was helpful in getting us tram times and bus times to the airport on the morning that we checked out, but no porter was available when we arrived or left - this was disappointing for a 4* hotel especially since, at the entrance, there are a few steps with a ramp and our room was quite far from the reception including a few more steps. Location is good if you aren't staying long since tram 6 and 9 go from Central Station to the hotel every few minutes and there are a few restaurants + a supermarket nearby. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the city, then it would be annoying to have to catch the tram for ~10min every journey between hotel and city. On our return journey from the Laplands, we stayed at a 3* hotel in the city centre because Radisson Blu was much more expensive for that date.

Close to major transportation hubs and shopping centers (i.e. the hotel is right next to Kamppi shopping mall).
