My husband and I "hid" in Botanica Khao Yai Resort for 3 days to unwind in silence. We didn't regret our choice of accommodation! The aesthetics of the resort is fantastic, so is the service by the staff. Although the breakfast buffet spread wasn't very huge, they made an effort to serve good food. Out of the 3 breakfasts we had there, Thai food was served only on our first morning (and I'm not sure why). The staff was generous enough to provide us with a free upgrade of room because the lift on our building was down - not sure if this will happen if they are fully booked, as it was non peak during our stay. Some things can be improved on: 1) The water from the taps and showers smell heavily chlorinated. It shouldn't have *that* much chlorine if you're going to brush your teeth, shower, boil water for drinking, etc. 2) The shower heads and taps need major descaling. It's a pity that the conditions are like this, considering how nice the building exterior and interior look. 3) The towels (hand, floor, bath, face) don't absorb a lot of water and a lot of fabric fibre come out of the towels, resulting in a dirty floor. 4) We had dinner at Tempo Restaurant (in-house restaurant) on our final night. After so many rounds of good food in various Khao Yai restuarants, dinner at Tempo was just an extremely terrible experience. The Tom Yum Soup I ordered was served warm (not hot) and with prawns that were not fresh. I could mash the prawn meat with my spoon and it was flattened almost immediately. My husband's dish came with super hard rice - barely edible. It looked like it was the last bit of dried up rice at the bottom of the rice cooker.

It was an awesome stay, away from the buzz of citylife. Although the location is not too good (no neighbouring shopping malls or convenience stores), we had a great driver who brought us to places all over Khao Yai, and that made the stay complete. The whole point about staying at Khao Yai was to relax and bask in the wonders of Mother nature, so it was a great experience. The area is largely unpopulated, without many residents, so the service was good! Near PB valley and the Bloom. within 30mins drive from Primo Piazza, The Chocolate Factory, sunflower field, Midwinter Green, Chokchai farm, The Secret Art Garden. :)

Going beyond the excellent service from the DusitD2 team. 1) We were alerted on the power failure at the holiday days before we arrive the holiday. Notified and expecting the electricity to be up and running by 5pm but the electricity in the region was still disrupted. Fans and room light was still operating so we stayed for a night and enjoyed the good ambience without electronics (TV/Phone) and connect to the nature and chit chat for the night. 2) Was hungry at night and we visited the restaurant at 1030pm. Restaurant was closed but they manage to still wipe out a good meal just to satisfy our tummy. That's the extra mile they would go and really appreciate the actions from them. 3) The next day we decided not to continue with DusitD2 as we need electricity to charge our phones so we requested to move out. The manager of the hotel quickly booked a high end hotel (Free of charge) for us and placed us at Atta Lakeside Resort within 10mins. The room in DusitD2 is a perfect getaway for couple. Most of the tourist was put on a new resort/hotel due to the electricity outage so we had a quiet stay and enjoyed the mountain view in our 1 day with DusitD2 . La Casetta is located in Toscana Valley estate, which is on the northern border of the Khao Yai National Park. It is at the back of the estate meaning you wake to great views of the lush hills. The hotel is a collection of stand alone blocks resembling 3 storey cottages with up to 8 rooms. We had a mountain view room which was spacious for 2 adults and our young son. Facilities were great with terraced plunge pools around the cottages. Club Lago located close to the lobby has 2 restaurants, a gym and large pool. There is also dining options in the town square close to the great golf course. The architecture in the town square and the condominiums close to entrance replicate Tuscany very well and create the atmosphere. Value for money was great as we stayed start of the low season. Played a round of golf and was impressed with the layout of the course which has many interesting holes with large elevation changes, some tight fairways, an island green and some island tee offs. It is is in great condition with the greens on the back nine fast and true. The front nine has just been lightly cored so best to wait a month as the back nine will be next. 30% discount for hotel guests and free drop off service. Spent some time at the national park trekking and the amusement park so there are activities locally to keep most people occupied.

Beautiful resort, which really makes you think you are in Italy. Food was great. Shame we didn't get to go for a bike ride as it looked like a good activity. One point though is that service was mixed at times. I ordered dinner and wine, the wine we had to sign for straight away without even touching it. I've never been at a hotel restaurant and had to sign/pay for wine before end. Also, reception rang up 10mins past checkout to see where we are. Come on, 10mins late? That put a dampener on my stay.

Researched on Khao Yai for it's good accommodation places without breaking the bank. This 4 star hotel fits the bill. The resort is huge and it's being well kept. The rooms are big and comfortable to stay in. All the appliances and electrical works in the room. Cons: At random time the hot water doesn't work (esp at night and morning). The wifi signal is rather weak in the room, keeps on disconnecting. The TV channels are mostly dubbed in Thai, so in room entertainments were limited. Pros: Rooms are huge with certain rooms have great views. Rooms services are prompt and reliable. A good spread for breakfast (little choices for halal food though). Great location of the resort, near to many of places of interest. Resort is located just beside Palio Village! Really enjoyed the stay there and would come again. Will definitely recommend to stay in this resort.

My family and I were having dinner at the hotel restaurant and my wife with my mum ordered for the rice porridge. My mum and wife used to have light taste for food. They could not eat as the porridge meals were salty and sweet and they request for the staff and chef in the restaurant to pour away soup only so that they can eat the food. To our surprise, the chef came out serving with the new set of porridge meals which my mum and wife have been craving for the light taste for food. He had even apology to us and prepared complimentary desserts of BenaLoi which is delicious. We are very thankful to the chef and the staff in the hotel restaurant for the day.

The hotel is nice, new, clean. Staffs are friendly. They don't really speak english but trying their best to understand us. Good location to escape from busy city but not convenient at night as there is no shop nearby. Do grab some foods before you back to hotel is recommended. Hotel is clean and nice design but soundproof is not really good. Overall, good for short stay & prebook transport to be ready before your stay.

This is obviously a new resort, as some units are not open for occupancy yet - but it does not have any obvious 'under construction' symptoms. The rooms and all common areas are very spacious, and the location is very green and pleasant, with easy drives to the Park and other local attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but seem to lack overall guidance from a senior manager, and this is most evident in the restaurant, where dinner service is best avoided, frankly. Their online booking profile is also a little strange. They show a limited availability of 2 rooms per category on Agoda at all times - yet they were probably at 20% occupancy at best! I would stay here again, as it is a very high quality hotel, with no attempt to cut corners on costs, but would hope that they either sort out the restaurant, or close it down, by the time I return.

Spent 2nights at Splendid Hotel, Floral Suite. No regrets. Everything was above my expectation from the moment I alighted from taxi till I check out. Met with all friendly staff at reception, at restaurant, janitor .... everybody. My biggest surprise was the restaurant, Aramis. It was empty when I went for dinner maybe food was bad?However, my family was pleasantly surprise with the quality of food served. And about the suite, if you love nature and tranquility, this is it. It has mountain view. I enjoyed watching birds in the morning from the comfort of the balcony. Spotted hornbills and white squirrel. Will definitely book this suite again if I’m in Khaoyai.

The staffs are very friendly, Cleanliness is super too. Family room has two big king size bed which is what we needed. The location is very near to most attractions. However, I would not consider this place again and do not recommend this place to any foreign tourist or family with young kids. 1. Water pressure is very bad. A 5 mins shower can be a torture - hot water will suddenly gone or become super hot. Most of the time, we have only cold water. We are afraid to take shower. With the cold temperature at night, this is totally not acceptable. After we moved to another resort at the 4th day, we have a relieve and felt that we should have book the 2nd resort all the way since day 1 (note : is a glamping resort) 2. All the staffs cannot communicate in English at all. Not even the most basic simple English. Hence you won’t be able to ask or get any information at all. I do understand most Thai cannot speak English, but as a hotel that provide accomodation to tourists, they should be able to at least communicate in some form of basic English, not to mention their room is not cheap. Mind you, their language level is really ZERO. We have to write down for them to use translate app to translate so we avoid asking them anything. 3. The staff used her phone camera to take a photo of my credit card during check in which is totally wrong. I have to demand her to delete it from her phone. I still feel insecure and have to call the cc company to change a new card for me.

The property consists of a hotel block and 2 apartment blocks at the back. It is not clear from the booking details if it is the hotel or the apartment you are booking. I was given a spacious apartment and if you want to stay away from the noisier hotel side, the apartment is a good choice. It is a short pleasant walk to the hotel (where the facilities and restaurant are) and a golf cart is available if you don't want to walk. I had a slight argument with the front desk on check in when I was only given 2 breakfast coupons per day even though I made a booking for 4 people (breakfast inclusive). She insisted it was policy to issue only 2 per room and that I could buy the additional coupons at the restaurant. In the end, the manager gave me 4 coupons per day. However, breakfast quality was poor and everything ran out so it didn't make a difference. We skipped breakfast after the first day. Overall a decent hotel but plan for breakfast outside for a better start to the day.

This is not 5 stars hotel but rather service apartment. if you are looking for very good price/performance accommodation at Khao Yai, this is the place. Location is good. Still look new, room is clean, have little kitchen that you can do simple cook, mountain view, not full size pool. Breakfast is not that great (like bento box) but I can live with that. Recommend for those who need decent room for sleeping, shower, simple cook. You can not expect full service like 4-5 stars hotel at this price

Located in the peaceful and green area of the famous Khao Yai, GranMonte guesthouse, where has limited number of guest rooms, offers travellers a truly relax atmosphere. Guesthouse is clearly separated from the tour and restaurant area then it allows sufficient privacy. Most of the staffs were helpful, room were just perfect while food and beverage including GranMonte Wines were good quality.

We booked a night at Villa Malinee and totally fell in love with the place. The hotel isn't on the main road, but this isn't the case as everyone is driving here anyway. The road to the hotel might be quite dark after sunset so be cautious. There're only seven rooms with different names, locating amidst nice garden. The sunset view from the public balcony is breathtaking. The room isn't that spacious, but provided everything we need. Travellers with friends or families with kids will love this place as well. There's a pool to swim or simply take a dip. The garden is extremely nice and well maintained. If it's not raining, the breakfast will be served in the garden. The best things here are the staff and food. Everyone is so helpful and made us feel like home. Food is incredibly awesome. We tasted most of the menus available and we are agreed that the food here is probably the best in Khao Yai. We could even drive from Bangkok just to eat here. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Don't forget to ask if there're any special menu and desserts available on the day. The criossants here are one of the best too, great buttery layers with perfect crust. We would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for a tranquil place to truly relax. This place is definitely our number 1 pick in Khao Yai.

Overall a nice hotel. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was clean and functional. A/C was very cold, and WiFi was fast enough for our weekend away. Service was fair: front desk staff was at first very confused by the idea that we wanted to find a ride to a local restaurants; but after clarification, they organized a ride in a hotel truck to/from restaurants for both nights we stayed there (free of charge!). The pool was clean and was large, though we didn't use it. Best of all, the hotel is really close to the Park's entrance.
