My husband and I "hid" in Botanica Khao Yai Resort for 3 days to unwind in silence. We didn't regret our choice of accommodation! The aesthetics of the resort is fantastic, so is the service by the staff. Although the breakfast buffet spread wasn't very huge, they made an effort to serve good food. Out of the 3 breakfasts we had there, Thai food was served only on our first morning (and I'm not sure why). The staff was generous enough to provide us with a free upgrade of room because the lift on our building was down - not sure if this will happen if they are fully booked, as it was non peak during our stay. Some things can be improved on: 1) The water from the taps and showers smell heavily chlorinated. It shouldn't have *that* much chlorine if you're going to brush your teeth, shower, boil water for drinking, etc. 2) The shower heads and taps need major descaling. It's a pity that the conditions are like this, considering how nice the building exterior and interior look. 3) The towels (hand, floor, bath, face) don't absorb a lot of water and a lot of fabric fibre come out of the towels, resulting in a dirty floor. 4) We had dinner at Tempo Restaurant (in-house restaurant) on our final night. After so many rounds of good food in various Khao Yai restuarants, dinner at Tempo was just an extremely terrible experience. The Tom Yum Soup I ordered was served warm (not hot) and with prawns that were not fresh. I could mash the prawn meat with my spoon and it was flattened almost immediately. My husband's dish came with super hard rice - barely edible. It looked like it was the last bit of dried up rice at the bottom of the rice cooker.

Stayed for the first night in Khao Yai, didn't regret a single bit, my hubby & I were greeted warmly by the staffs once we alighted from the car. The check-in process was a breeze and they had a buggy to escort us to our room with our baggage. The room was clean and brightly lit, one thing I have to say, the bed was AWESOME, softness was just nice and it gave me a great good night sleep. Breakfast was equally great, I love the variety, simple and easy. Need honey for your pancakes? Well, they have the whole piece of HONEYCOMB waiting for you. The perfect kind of vacation. As I'm writing this, I am already missing the congee. The only con will be the traveling distance as it is pretty far drive in. But nonetheless would definitely want to go back again if I am visiting Khao Yai again, hope it reminds the same!

La Casetta is located in Toscana Valley estate, which is on the northern border of the Khao Yai National Park. It is at the back of the estate meaning you wake to great views of the lush hills. The hotel is a collection of stand alone blocks resembling 3 storey cottages with up to 8 rooms. We had a mountain view room which was spacious for 2 adults and our young son. Facilities were great with terraced plunge pools around the cottages. Club Lago located close to the lobby has 2 restaurants, a gym and large pool. There is also dining options in the town square close to the great golf course. The architecture in the town square and the condominiums close to entrance replicate Tuscany very well and create the atmosphere. Value for money was great as we stayed start of the low season. Played a round of golf and was impressed with the layout of the course which has many interesting holes with large elevation changes, some tight fairways, an island green and some island tee offs. It is is in great condition with the greens on the back nine fast and true. The front nine has just been lightly cored so best to wait a month as the back nine will be next. 30% discount for hotel guests and free drop off service. Spent some time at the national park trekking and the amusement park so there are activities locally to keep most people occupied.

I stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and nice. The location is very closed to Palio Khao Yai which is only 400 meters away and it is walkable of course. I did not expect much about breakfast since there are some reviews complaint about variety of the food but it was better than my expectation. There were enough choices to choose. I could enjoy the breakfast as well. If you are looking for a place that is close to Palio Khao Yai, the attraction, this place is good and worth for your money.

This is a newly open hotel, situated on the way to Khao Yai National Park. A good and quiet location. The room is very clean and tidy. Although it's not that spacious, but cozy enough for relaxation. The staff is very polite and friendly. I must admit I didn't expect that at first, even skeptic too, as I've sent 2 messages before my arrival date and never got any reply. The breakfast, ABF, is just so-so. All in all, it's a good value for money.

I and my finance picked Belle Villa Resort Khao Yai out of pure "last minute" weekend get-away location. We badly needed a weekend away from stressful meetings, reports and bad BKK traffic. It took us little over an hour to get to Belle Villa. The moment we parked the car and walked into its lobby, we both had big smiles on our faces in pleasant/relaxing feelings of how our weekend is going to be like. Beautiful swimming pool, mountain view in the back of the hotel and minimalist + oriental design room greeted us, as well as kind hotel staffs. We had nice dinner at PB Winery & Restaurant, which is only about 20-25 minutes drive from Belle Villa. Also, famous Khao Yai National Park is only about 10 minutes drive from the hotel, and another popular place called "Primo Posto" is about 10 minutes drive, too. We just didn't have enough time to see all the beautiful scenery of Khao Yai. (We were there to relax... not to stress ourselves with more trips here and there... haha) We sat on the balcony couch to enjoy our Mouton Cadet Bordeaux wine and talked about many things that we just didn't have time for them in busy Bangkok. Cool breeze whispering thru bushes and trees, sound of small water fountain in the middle of aquamarine swimming pool with night-time lights... and, of course, some Miles Davis and Stan Getz tunes to complete the relaxing day in Belle Villa... haha Well, I recommend Belle Villa as a perfect weekend getaway resort for busy Bangkokians. It's only about an hour or two drive from Bangkok, and there are many local & international restaurants and resorts (for resort-hopping... like island hopping) Oh, on the way back to Bangkok, don't forget to stop by either Primo Posto or Farm Chokchai for good late lunch or early dinner.

Lived up to it's name SPLENDID... we had to book this last minute due to the homestay we booked were far too small from expected. We had to call Splendid to check on the availability and to arrange for a taxi to pick us from Pak Chong. The staff was responsive and helpful to get us a taxi. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and considered value for money for a last minute booking. This place is highly recommended as they are situated in the Khao Yai National Park area where it's near to Palio Inn, Primo Piazza, Mid-winter, The Bloom etc...

Staffs are friendly but no one help to carry our luggage while checking in and out. Villa rooms are average with good wifi provided. Having our breakfast located near to the pool with is a plus point. The hotel provided the Male Japanese costume for us to take photos which is a plus point. Location is just next to the chocolate factory. Hence we can just walk across the street. We love the pool at night with the light on. Will stay here again for next Khao Yai trip.

This is new appartment, modern and clean. Location is near to Khao Yai National Park, about 10 minutes drive. Recommended to travelers who want to visit the National Park. Family Room is available for 4 to 6 people. The room was great, clean, look new. Breakfast is served in the room. The room rate is cheap. Kitchen set is provided, a balcony is also available. From the balcony you can enjoy great mountain view. The view is awesome!

Located in the peaceful and green area of the famous Khao Yai, GranMonte guesthouse, where has limited number of guest rooms, offers travellers a truly relax atmosphere. Guesthouse is clearly separated from the tour and restaurant area then it allows sufficient privacy. Most of the staffs were helpful, room were just perfect while food and beverage including GranMonte Wines were good quality.

We booked a night at Villa Malinee and totally fell in love with the place. The hotel isn't on the main road, but this isn't the case as everyone is driving here anyway. The road to the hotel might be quite dark after sunset so be cautious. There're only seven rooms with different names, locating amidst nice garden. The sunset view from the public balcony is breathtaking. The room isn't that spacious, but provided everything we need. Travellers with friends or families with kids will love this place as well. There's a pool to swim or simply take a dip. The garden is extremely nice and well maintained. If it's not raining, the breakfast will be served in the garden. The best things here are the staff and food. Everyone is so helpful and made us feel like home. Food is incredibly awesome. We tasted most of the menus available and we are agreed that the food here is probably the best in Khao Yai. We could even drive from Bangkok just to eat here. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Don't forget to ask if there're any special menu and desserts available on the day. The criossants here are one of the best too, great buttery layers with perfect crust. We would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for a tranquil place to truly relax. This place is definitely our number 1 pick in Khao Yai.

Great staff, good breakfast and nice resort! We booked the resort at a great deal, so it is really value for money. The resort is located near to Khao Yai National Park Entrance. The staff is really helpful and friendly. I accidentally left my items at the resort, they took the extra miles to reach me and send it back to me. The only feedback is that the air condition was not working very well on our 2nd night stay. But it does not affect us much. Highly recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Khao Yai

We loved being so close to Khao Yai National Park. The landscaping of this hotel is stunningly beautiful with thousand of blooming orchids and begonias. A huge breakfast is served in the garden. Our room was spotless and the linens very luxurious. We spent our day on a safari into the national park and did not return until after dark when it was too chilly for a swim but the pool was large and lovely. There was very little English translation of information and the staff did not speak English. This resort is geared towards residents of Bangkok and I appreciated getting off the foreign tourist trail. This was a perfect, beautiful, romantic, quiet place to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary.
