For my trip, I was further impress with the service at the front desk checkin counters. Despite of the mess, they tried to meet your request as much as they can.

Room very big and comfortable. Everything is nice. Except right now the hotel is not link to the main building, it is a very far walking distance to reach the new shopping complex. If raining or windy, you can’t even walk outside. In front of the hotel there is a new theme park expect to be complete by August 2018 and that will be another attraction from tourist. This hotel is very near to the old Casino, but is very far from the new casino and the Sky Avenue (cable car station).

The Check-In was smooth (Thanks to Patrick from frontdesk, who was patient enough to give all information). The Room was Clean and Spacious, and ofcourse had an Amazing view. Lots of restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Indian/Arabic, and others) were just one floor above the Main lobby of the Hotel. Casino can also be accessed directly from the Hotel Lobby. In my opinion, of all the Hotels at the Highland, the Maxims was best placed (in terms of location) and also value for money. Would only stay at this property whenever I go to Genting. P:S The Hotel was Kind enough to arrange a floral decoration in the room for my wife’s Birthday. Special Thanks to the Team for their amazing gesture.

Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Though check-in was a bit slow, but everything else was a delight. Location was excellent, just next to the cable car, within 5 minutes from the casinos and the amusement parks. We didnt have to get out of the hotel at all ! What was great was everything seemed new. My hubby and I specially liked the Aigner shampoo! The bed was comfortable, springy and soft. Sheets were clean and white, facilities were more than sufficient. We didnt get to order room service as most of the restaurants were 24-hours. Had buffet breakfast at the Terrace Cafe. Delicious and ample choice from Western to Indian to Chinese to Peranakan to Malay..Spent nearly an hour for buffet breakfast, followed by a whole day at the outdoor amusement park and our nights at the casino. It didnt matter that it rained almost every evening and it was too cold and hazy to venture out as we had lots of alternatived lined up. By the way, the shopping mall there is opened till very late (some shops stay open 24 hours !).
