Well, I don't expect much when I book this hotel but after staying for 3 nights my opinion was changed. The hotel located near many shopping centre. The lobby were so busy all the time especially during check out and check in time. After check in, i went to the room. The room is small but it is well designed, clean and comfortable. The bed is reclining bed so you can sit and watch tv. TV has many channels and HD clean. The breakfast were average. Mostly western food with egg station available. Free great coffee from coffee machine too! The staff were great and helpful too, they speak english very well, quite friendly and definitely helpful! After everything, I would highly recommend Yotel Singapore. It was great experience.

Excellent attitude and helpful to assist us whenever we have doubts or needed help. Disavantages were the incomplete toiletries ie no toothbrush or comb or razor, and it would be better if our breakfast were served with food warmer as we did not eat our breakfast till much later and by then food was beginning to get cold. Other that that, the rest were excellent. Ps you haf to try their durian crepes, they were the best.

This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Had to call the reception to get the plumber for about 4 times during our stay to fix the basin drain line due to always blocking. Had to remind the reception daily in order to get the daily complimentary newspaper. These two issues were the draw back during our stay . Other than that, the housekeeper was great. The process of check in & out was fast too. Overall, this hotel is very close by to shopping centre, food centre & Orchard MRT station. We really enjoyed our stay especially during the Christmas Eve in Orchard road near Somerset with so many thousands of people celebrate Christmas count down. We will certainly coming back again to Singapore.

The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

I booked and stayed in this hotel on the advice of another business colleague in Feb 10. Quite simply this is the best hotel I have stayed in to date. The staffs’ are very friendly and helpful, with the business centre being very accommodating for what I had to do. The pool and surroundings are excellent and have a very tranquil feel about it, the pool staff attentive and helpful. The hotel is situated on Orange Grove Rd and not therefore as conveniently located as some other hotels but, this means that the hotel is away from the frenetic activity and noise of Singapore's Orchard Rd making it a relaxing and charming place to stay. I was so impressed with my stay I cancelled my reservation at another hotel in Bangkok the following week to stay at their sister hotel there.

We love the outdoor bathtub the most, it was the highlight of our stay. We were lucky to get the skyroom on Agoda, because it was stated as sold out on the hotel's page. We had a peek into the Reading room on our way to our room, and it seemed pretty small though sufficient enough for a party of 2. So, we made the best out of the room we got - that means spending lots of time outside in the tub. The staff was friendly and most of them are locals, from the receptionist to the cleaning aunties. :) Few gripes we had was there wasn't a flask in the room (my boyfriend searched the drawers), and there was only a curtain to separate the outdoor area and the toilet. A sliding door would have been nice. When it rained at night, it was quite loud and gave me quite a good scare - but thats just me. Other than that, we also thought the price was tad steep for 1 night even though it was a promotional price, as the pool was not big enough for swimming and there was no cafe in the hotel (but to be fair they gave us breakfast vouchers). Other than that - pretty lovely place for local/overseas guests. One tip is to be sure to book a room that you would enjoy - for us it was the outdoor tub for it meant we could bask in the sun in our own backyard.

Dhoby Ghaut MRT (N-S Line) is barely 200 meters away. Our room was on Level 8 looking down on Orchard Road. It is immaculately cleanly with ensuite. On Level 9 is a relaxing area with a large swimming pool. The Y Cafe is on Level 4. Lovely buffet breakfast with satisfying variety. After almost a month of spicey stir-fried food, if was lovely to settle back and enjoy fresh salad, nice coffee and simple Western meals like the lovely fish and chips for dinner at the Y Cafe. The YMCA is a charity that does good deeds. The YMCA@OneOrchard is a peaceful retreat. Daily rate is half of many 4-starred hotels in Singapore. Highly recommended.
