I needed to go for training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and Ramada Hotel was walking distance. The shuttle service they offer to Novena was a good point to access SMRT and go to Orchard and other tourist points in Singapore (love your public transport system). Too bad, they don't offer free shuttle to and from airport as well. Early check-in was not possible, alleged...I needed to go for training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and Ramada Hotel was walking distance. Too bad, they don't offer free shuttle to and from airport as well. Early check-in was not possible, allegedly due to hotel being fully booked, so it was a bother to wait for 4hours until room was ready; but the actual check-in took a few minutes only. The Agoda booking says maximum 2adults per room but the hotel staff were kind enough to accommodate a 3rd guest without use of extra bed; that was a plus for me as we brought along my sister to help take care of my toddler. A mall with supermarket, retail stores, bread shops and restaurants was attached to the hotel - quite convenient! The front desk personnel were not too friendly, but they did their jobs well. The bellhop and concierge, though, were exceptionally nice and friendly, kudos! Zhongshan Park was so-so; but the hotel is right smack in the Heritage Trail (one of the historical walking tours in Singapore) for those interested. There's a 24-hour hawker's market for cheap but good food (not exceptional) 2blocks away.

The hotel is quite near Tan Tock Seng hospital. there is a bus-stop in front of the hotel, so easy to travel by bus. From here, it will take you about 10 minutes walking to Novena square, down with MRT to explore Singapore. What a pity if you do not walk to explore the foodcourt behind the hotel, you can enjoy & eat food with cheap price for local people, you will save...The hotel is quite near Tan Tock Seng hospital. there is a bus-stop in front of the hotel, so easy to travel by bus. The location is ideal if you have business with Tan Tock Seng or Mt. Elizabeth Hospital in Novena since they are walking distance from these two hospitals. The buffet breakfast is a bit sparse, it could use some improvement alt...The location is ideal if you have business with Tan Tock Seng or Mt. We had booked a room here as we had an Aunt that was in the nearby Tan Tock Seng hospital that required constant supervision. The hotel location is ideal for Medical Tourism as it is near the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (a government hospital), Novena Medical Centre and Mount Elizabeth @ Novena (both private hospitals). There were a number of people from the middle east and other parts of South East Asia that come to Singapore for medical treatment and I guess the location of the hotel is ideal. In terms of shopping and food, there are 2 main malls nearby (Novena Square and United Square), that have a number of restaurants and watering holes. The main Orchard Road stretch is pretty accessible, 5 minutes via a tax or just 2 MRT (train / metro) stops which will take about 10 minutes. All in all, it is pretty convenient and a good option from staying in the middle of the city.

Location wise,you can get a Cab from the airport and make sure to mention the hotel's address as there are many fragrance hotel in Balestier Area. The room is practical,for three people it was comfortable-it was a double deck where the upper is single and lower is double. They provide towels,shampoo and soap,toothbrush and toothpaste. There is a small fridge.Electric kettle and complimentary tea/coffee.Toilet and Shower is functional and comfortable. The staff are approachable.Wifi is very good. The mattress is very comfortable-the best I had.A good hotel to come to after a days exploring.

the room is just like 3m x 3m, with bathroom smaller than 2m x 1m. but it's cheap and the hotel is near some very good restaurants and food courts. a small mall, cinema, and supermarket is just across the street. there's a bus stop just in front of the hotel, but if you turn right, you'll find a green staircase to a parking lot, cross the parking lot, and go straigh...the room is just like 3m x 3m, with bathroom smaller than 2m x 1m. but it's cheap and the hotel is near some very good restaurants and food courts. a small mall, cinema, and supermarket is just across the street. there's a bus stop just in front of the hotel, but if you turn right, you'll find a green staircase to a parking lot, cross the parking lot, and go straight on akyab rd. you'll end up at tan tock seng hospital, and from there you could reach novena mrt and mall. it all takes not more than 15 minutes walking.

We stayed in both Fragrance Balestier and Fragrance Rose during our stay in Singapore.(Availability and Agoda Discounts made us shift from one location to the other twice) And we enjoyed staying in both... However Hotel Fragrance Balestier has more comfortable and spacious rooms than Rose. The customer service received in both venues are exceptional and highly respec...We stayed in both Fragrance Balestier and Fragrance Rose during our stay in Singapore.(Availability and Agoda Discounts made us shift from one location to the other twice) And we enjoyed staying in both... However Hotel Fragrance Balestier has more comfortable and spacious rooms than Rose. The customer service received in both venues are exceptional and highly respected. Specially Aunty Jessica and Manager Micheal was very thoughtful, friendly and supportive throghout.... Selecting the best suited rooms for us ( as we had few big size luggages, they were kindenough to upgrade the rooms to superior loft and deluxe twin when ever possible) GRAB taxi bookings done by Micheal were affordable. From room boy to manager everyone in the hotel were helpful. Hawker centre, close by offers veriety of chineese food at an affordable rate. Bus stop close by is the easier and faster way to travel than the MRT. Clean Bed linen and Comforting rooms makes Fragrance chain standout from the rest!

The room is very clean, but the breakfast is not being served probably because the hotel cater a lot of China group tourist, and the food was not replenish on time. I am going to teach you one last time on how to use it, OK?" Haha... That's the only thing, the rest I think really fantastic.
