It is also near a shopping centre (Mustafa Centre) which is open 24/7 so be prepared if you like shopping. What make me most satisfied is the staffs are helpful when asking any questions about the hotel. You really want to meet the owner of the hotel, she's VERY friendly and helpful, who can give you recommendations about the places you want to go, how to get there, which attractions are famous in Singapore, where to go shopping, ... She's always willing to help You can also ask for a map of Sentosa or a MRT map if you like, they have all and are willing to give you. The rooms are large and comfortable, with window views to the city. Wifi are free with superspeed. Water in the bathroom from the tabs are safe to drink. Again, this is THE BEST HOTEL WITH THIS CHEAP PRICE

The receptionist was really friendly and nice. They were efficient in issuing the keycards. The room was very clean and had a perfect view. Toilet was a little disappointing because it was quite small. The refrigerator wasnt working well, left our drinks for an entire day and it wasnt cold at the end of the day. But all is well because the facilities were clean and had an awesome view. The ambience made me feel relaxed. Location is relatively near to mustafa centre. Hotel is right outside the mrt stn. Would definitely go back and recommend my friends.

Conveniently located a few steps from both MRT and shopping mall. One MRT stop from Little India but also walking distance from Tekka Centre and Mustafa. Staff are great - even moved me after my husband had to leave urgently - to a room closer to friends. Complimentary mini bar is also very convenient for a cool drink or snack. Beds and pillows lovely and so clean No bath tub in Our room though but I don’t take baths so that didn’t worry me.

I so love the hotel. All the staffs are friendly and accommodating. They have a clean, cozy room. The beds are so comfy, you can really sleep well after a long day touring around Singapore. The location is the bomb because it was near Little India station, near Tekka Centre (where you can eat cheap but delish food). If you are shopaholic and you want the best money exchange rate the hotel is nearby Mustafa Centre.

As we checked in, we quite impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, which is the main point for us who travelled with our children. It's an old building, but they managed it well. The facilities are simple. No toilettries (soap, shampoo), but clean towels are replaced everyday. We booked a room with 3 beds and 1 extra bed. We didn't use the extra bed at all, since it was an old folding bed, which also too thin compared with the other beds. Luckily, the other 3 beds are quite wide, so all of us (4 people) could share the beds. The location also very near to Mustafa Centre shopping centre, that open 24 hours. So, whenever we need to buy something, we can just walk there. Plus, the hotel is located in front of to City Square Mall, one of the entrance/exit of Farrer Park MRT Station. Overall, we really recommend this hotel for those who need a simple hotel just for sleep after you exploring Singapore all day.

This hotel is located in Little India, just 5 minutes walk from the underground station. The local area is nice and bustling with activity, with markets, bars, resteraunts and the Little India (Tekka Centre) hawker centre where the food is amazing. The hotel itself is basic but ideal for people on a budget wanting to explore Singapore (without staying in a dodgy area!). Rooms are a decent size and have A/C, tv, fridge and a good size bathroom with hot, powerful shower. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Not every room has a window but i found this to be not a problem as they are well light and comfortable. I had read bad reports about noise in the hotel before i arrived but didnt find this to be an issue at all during my stay.

Little India gives you the feel that you are still at your homeland,but can see people from all parts of the world enjoying their holidays. I stayed for 5days with my aged Parents ,wife and 3 Children.we got adjacent rooms in third floor facing the Street.There are two restaurants attached to this hotel and serves good Punjabi food.Very courteous staff,allowed us to check in earlier as our flight reached at 6:00am in the morning.Also hot a free sim with 10 dollar loaded as a promotional activity from the sim mela happening in front of the hotel.Just across the street there are several vendors of all items like souvenirs,sweets,clothing,electronics,toys,mobile accessories.Near the Hotel,we have the mustafa centre,Tekka centre,Farrer park met and in front of the hotel was the bus stop which made life easy for us

This hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from two different MRT stations. It makes getting to the airport on the mrt very easy and cheap. There are plenty of places to eat nearby as well as shops to buy drinks and snacks. It is a quick walk to Bugis street, Arab street and little India. The room I a reasonable size with good storage. The bed is clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower with plentiful hot water. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also a fridge in the room as well as a kettle and tea and coffee. Two bottles of water are provided each day. The air conditioning is efficient. The bonus for us was the complimentary breakfast on the rooftop. There were three options and we loved the steamed buns and egg option washed down with tea and coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We will be back. Thankyou for a great stay.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Hotel 165 for 6days/5nights. If you're looking for a budget hotel with clean facilities and privacy, this is the best hotel for you! Staff can speak English well and very accommodating. The Deluxe room was good enough for the 2 of us. The hot/cold shower and flush were working perfectly. They provided bottled water for every guest, clean towels, and cleaned our room everyday. The location is just a few steps away from Farrer Park MRT and Sri Perumal Bus Stations. The 24-hour Mustafa Center, Money Changer, and Chinese/Indian Restaurants are also very near so you won't get hungry even when late at night. If you have Asian food cravings, the Food Republic food court can alse be found at the City Center Mall across the street. The location is also just a few MRT stations from key places such as Bugis junction, Chinatown, Little India, Clarke Quay and Bayfront so you don't spend too much time commuting. The only suggestion i have is i hope that guests could control the air-conditioning because when we first came (a Monday), it was a bit hot. Then when the long weekend came, the central A/C became colder. I assume that they tend to increase the A/C when there are more guests, but it'd be better if we can control our temp preferences. Nevertheless, our stay was PERFECT! We will definitely recommend this place to other tourists and we'll surely book this hotel again when we go back to Singapore! :)

The hotel was a brand new hotel, the staff weren't trained up to normal standards yet, but that will come with time, It was clean, new, they play 3 TV channels at breakfast, News, Sports and something else, Breakfast was western only, but the Tekka centre for Hawker food is a short walk. If you like to drink Singapore can be expensive and this is where hands down they have the best deal 5 drinks per person each night between 5-7 FREE. Not to mention the mini bar. Wifi is good all hours the standard 2mbps free I didn't have a problem with Skype or any other remote type apps. Would definately stay again for the location convience

Arrived on business trip. Have stayed in this Hotel 81 many, many times before and have always come back due to its location and relative price compared to other hotels in Singapore. Staff are friendly. They tend to separate the business or tourist room floors from those rented out on hourly basis which is a very good idea and we won't be interrupted by constant banging of doors, talking and footsteps in the corridor. Many varieties of local food are located nearby. Bugis, OG etc and the MRT are all close by. If you can sleep, the 24hr Mustafa Centre is also within walking distance.

it was a pleasent stay at arianna hotel. the room is rather small. if you are travelling in a family of 3 kids, you may want to book 2 rooms. it is cheap, very clean and best of all they provide free wifi. location wise is strategic for shoppers as mustafa centre is right opposite. if you are driving, they do not provide parking space, so you have to use coupon parking. parking is quite easy to find. plenty of food outlets available within walking distance. easily accessible. nearest mrt station (ferrer park, if i'm not mistaken and little india is about 10 min walk. about 5 min drive to arab street and bugis street as well as masjid sultan. 10-15 min drive to orchard road and geylang.

The best feature of the hotel was the room size, being larger and better-equipped than the normal Singapore mid-range hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large. It is located near to City Square mall, Farrer Park MRT (for easy trips to the city centre) and Lavender MRT (airport line). There are plenty of places around to eat, lots of cheap shopping at the Mustafa Centre and just enough "red light district" feel to add a bit of colour and spice to an otherwise over-manicured Singapore landscape.

I chose this place to enjoy Indian foods and Indian-Singaporean culture. The place is located in walking distance from MRT stations and close to Tekka Center where we enjoyed variety of Indian foods. Visiting Indian Heritage Center was interesting too. The room was not big which I really didn't mind. We had some issues with water boiler so couldn't have a hot shower on the first night but the receptionist took my complaints and repaired it while we were out. Kind and very friendly. In overall, this hotel is really recommendable and we would like to stay once again if we had a chance to visit Singapore!

Best location for Indians as budget hotel can't expect more but neat n tidy ..place to sleep is what it is... best part is the manager gave us some coupon by which v got free simple cards from opposite shop ... and those free simple number v book uber cab (UBERCUPONSG) and grab cabs ( SGMAP) cabs got discount on cabs made full use of that... And the location is very good as mustard maket is very near v opted ananda bhavan (24hrs open) for breakfast .... and had meal sat at ANANDA RESTAURANT ahead of ananda bhavan it's panner tikka and naan is best even buffet meal option their is good Go for Marrison at desker only and u can't bargain on walkin their so better pre book via agora happy holidays

The Daulat is a beautifully restored modern boutique hotel in a gorgeous colonial building right in the centre of Little India. Yes, there was some street noise but this was part of its charm listening to guitar playing and singing at night. Once the balcony doors were closed and the very effective airconditioning on, any outside noise was abated. I slept well every night! The rooms are small but they are more than adequately appointed and cleverly designed so they have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and will assist you to navigate your way around Singapore - they are clearly the best asset of the hotel. I would certainly recommend The Daulat to anyone looking for quiet sanctuary with good internet access, with an outside balcony and among all the charms of the Little India district.

Value for money because you can have your own place privately considering its Singapore wherein accomodation is expensive. Location is walking distance to Jalan Besar MRT station which is a 2-3 minute walk which is also convenient for traveller. Bus station is right across the street. Hawker food stalls are also around. The room where we stay is clean with basic facilities like a/c, hot and cold shower, tv with just local channel and wifi with very good internet speed. Not for very picky guest. Comfort room is small, but for me its just right. Faucet is leaking but it will not harm you. Staff is very accomodating. They have complimentary bottled water and coffee sachet which you need to collect in the front desk everyday. They have hair blower and electric kettle in the room. If you want your room to be cleaned, you need to request it everyday in the front desk or they will not clean it. Over all recommended hotel.

The Hotel is very clean. Good Staff. My comment is just the toilet bowl flushing somehow not working properly and no mat on the floor outside the toilet. The location is great but don't expect nice view because it's situated in the busy streets of Kallang. There is a lot of food and groceries nearby. It also doesn't have cable TV but thats ok because it's the comfort and clean is what we're looking for. The room is small but they did a great job in putting all bed and stuff altogether. Overall I would recommend this hotel just don't expect too much after all it's still 3 star hotel.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean. The price was good for Singapore. The location was ideal because it is between two subway stops which hosted two different lines. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The eating option is the Tekka Center two blocks away which has tons of hawker stalls selling cheap and delicious food--don't miss it.

In the beginning we were confused to find this hotel because all of the building nearby looks like the same.. but after looking through the google maps from ferrer park station, it is pretty close from the MRT station, so it is really strategic place. Nearby there r so many indian food area and a few of mustafa 24hrs shopping centre which we can buy anything we need with very affordable price. The host is really nice and kind, they give us the information clearly. The room was well air conditioned and being cleaned everyday, they also change the towel, and if i make some stains in bed, they change the bedcover too, they gave 2 sachet of nescafe, creamer, sugar, tea, and mineral water. It really helps, beside that theres a free wifi which is given when we registrating in the main lobby. Theres also an elevator there which is ease us to get access to level 3. Why i gave 4 stars in facility? because i think they should fix the tv channel. The picture was grainy, jaggy, and only a few that watchable. Beside that, the water heater sometimes not warm and properly functioned. Overall it is a great place to stay, please consider it to be your stay place ahead. cheers.

This is a renovated old shop house style hotel from the 1900s (or earlier), and it is rustic and nice. The caveat is DO NOT get the rooms facing the main road! The noise from the vehicles passing buy is extremely loud! I did not change room so I do not know if this is inherent in other rooms. The next thing is the air-con, even after inserting the key card for power, it seems like it turned on but was not cold. You have to actually off and on it with the remote control to make it work, unlike other hotels where just inserting the key card into the power unit on everything. Finally the walls are very thin, and there was a baby crying till late when I check in. I could hear it in the corridor as I walked to my room, and hoped that it won't be noticeable but it was to naught. Even in the room with the door close I could hear the cry and the parents talking loudly. So be wary when you booked this hotel, as I specifically stated I wanted a quiet room but got the opposite instead.

Windowless room was fine as we are out most of the day - amenities were much appreciated: kettle, hairdryer, TV, in-room safe. Easy access by MRT and bus, walking distance to places of interest. Area is quiet in the mornings so good time to do the mural walk to take pix. Food available just as you step out or you can go to nearby Tekka Centre for a variety of food options.
