First of all, this hotel is very luxury at a budget price. Most budget hotels in Thailand have outdated furnishings and wall hangings, but every inch of this hotel is clean, well-maintained, very luxury looking. The staff is outstanding and there is a doorman or other staff about every 20 meters of the hotel. Check-in and check-out was fast, and we even got fast servi...

New hotel and most staff are very eager to please. The staff member at the entrance who looks after luggage and transport is commendable. He is polite, pleasant, sincere and has an eye for details. Taxi by the meter to BKK airport was only 270 + 75 (toll) on a Sunday afternoon. Stonethrow from the National Museum which was our purpose for an overnight in Bangkok. ...

this hotel is one minute walk from khoa san road yet is quiet. we spent many a day relaxing by the rooftop pool in the peace and quiet. it's walking distance to grand palace, national museum and the pier. room was large, air conditioning good, hto showers and flush toilets, the best hotel we found in bangkok. the only critism i have is that the bed was too hard!

We’ve stayed in Bangkok 10 plus times and I’d say for the price this is the best hotel in the location we like to be. The swimming pool is perfect especially if you have young children as the children’s pool is a good size, my daughter wanted to stay at the hotel pool all day everyday!! The breakfast was good, usual Asian Choice, no complaints. The rooms are a good...

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I was booking to stay right on Khao San road. I was only staying for one night so I wanted to be close to the action of bars, markets and good food. I wouldn't recommend this is you were staying for a week or so, the busyness and haggling could get a bit. However, this was perfect for a short stopover for a couple of nights. W...

We chose this hotel to be in a different location from the typical river front hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't care much for the location of the property - there were no views to speak of and while it was close enough to Jim Thompson's house and the National Museum, the neigbborhood wasn't that interesting. By far, this was the largest room we'd stayed in during our ...

We liked our stay at Nanda Hotel. The place is very beautifully designed and the staff friendly and polite. They were always helpful and nice. Very rich breakfast buffet to both international and thai cuisine. The street is ugly and with that the view from the windows, but there was no noise coming from the street. I think the hotel could improve cleanliness just a li...

We moved from a much nicer hotel because we were so far away from the places we wanted to visit. As the taxi approached the hotel the area degenerated and it began to look like skid row. The side walks were covered with trash, there were people sleeping in doorways and a man in pants and socks was staggering down the street barely staying on his feet. As we entered the...

Good location , upon arrival we were upgraded for free to the premium room. This hotel is right in the middle of Khaosan road, straight outside of the hotel are many places to eat and drink including local street food. Plenty of shops and stalls selling souvenuiers, electronics , clothes etc ... be prepared to haggle for a good price! The hotel was clean and ...

it's really a good place. the room looks pretty good with a small balcony, and i lived in a cornor of this hotel so i gladly enjoyed a quiet environment there. the location there is very very nice, it's easy to go to the grand palace and national museum, and u may have a wonderful night life nearby. ps, the only problem is there is no subway station around, u'd better ...

This is actually one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in Southeast Asia. It is quite new and the owners have placed great detail in its design. It is in a quite neighbourhood but very close to Khaosan road where there are many restaurants and pubs. I stayed in Khao San Road the previous time I was in BKK and the noise made it impossible to sleep, hence this is actual...

We were on Bangkok a few days as part of our honeymoon and Chillax resort was in overall an excellent choice The location is VERY good (close to every relevant spot on Bangkok) and while located in a very busy and noisy area the hotel doesn't receive this noise and you can rest without trouble The breakfast is very good and staff were very kind, however, their level ...

I travelled with two other girlfriends from the Indian. This was our first trip to Thailand and our first stop was Bangkok. We we're exhausted when we arrived but excited to be there. We had prearranged airport transfers so we would not need to worry about transportation upon arrival, which I highly recommend. The ride took about 45 minutes to the hotel from the airpor...

We stayed for 1 night before leaving Thailand. Actually we were surprised with the quality of this brand new hotel for such a reasonable rate they are charing. It has so much value for money, that we kinda regreted that we stayed in expensive 5 star hotels in Bangkok before. Definatelly would recommend this place for tourists to explore Bangkok.

Let me start with the good, I really did enjoy my stay here. It's in a unique location and the land has a neat history. The hotel itself is very scenic. Staff are friendly and try their best to facilitate your needs. The rooms are very well priced and I'd gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. All my complaints are relatively minor. When I arrived it turned out that m...

RIkka Inn was the perfect place to stay! If you are interested in being near all the action of Khao San Road- this is it! However, this place was surprisingly very quiet- The hotel was right in the middle of Khao San Road but kind of set back in a way and it seemed as though most rooms were away from the street noises. I stayed there 2 nights at the beginning of my tri...

We stayed for three nights at SSIP, a very cute boutique hotel in Bangkok, very close to the pier (10min walk). Only but was comming back from the center, after a tiring day you expect to go back quick and easy by taxi... but taxis refuse to turn the meter on and want to charge double. Be patient and wait for a honest taxi driver, or if you dont mind paying a bit more....

i stayed here on my last night of a round the world trip and so fancied a treat on my last night. the location is great; right by kho san rd but so so quiet, you wouldnt know you were so nearby. i stayed ina few hotels in bangkok around kho san rd and had real problems with noise but buddy boutique was so so quiet and relaxing, a nice escape from the business of kho s...

We stayed here 1 night in November before flying from Bangkok. The room is great, very authentic and characteristic. Comfy bed, good air con and wifi. The staff really helped us, calling 2 hotels in Koh Lanta for us to help track down a missing wallet, which we would have struggled so much doing ourselves. They also organised our taxi back to the airport. There are fre...

My girlfriend and I had a pleasant stay at De Moc Hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful, always on the lookout to see if we need any help. Breakfast variety can be improved but not really an issue if you are not fussy about that. Complimentary tuk tuk service to Khao San Road, didn't get a chance to use the service though. Otherwise, hotel staff will always be happy ...

We have stayed here 4 nights in total. First 2 nights at arrival and 2 nights before leaving bangkok. The first room was the smallest but fine if you are looking for a really clean hotel in the Kaosan area for a ok price. The Kaosan area was by the way even for 'older' people a great place to stay. A lot of restaurants who offer great food for a good price. a lot of li...

Nice location, we can state only positive things about the hotel. Moreover, for what you get it was very cheap! The breakfast is very, very nice (Thai and Continental) and you can sit outside to enjoy it!!! The pool was great for us, since we like to swim. We used it after sightseeing in Bangkok, in the evening we were swimming and this was really luxiourous for us. ...

this was our 2nd hotel in bangkok and it was a great decision to stay at this as the location was spot on. it was a 1 min walk to khaosan so while the location was great, we still got peace and quiet at night. there were plentiful restaurants and bars around and the hotel had a view of the grand palace. there are many travel agents close by to book tours and day trips....

I wish I had stay in this hotel for days, I was there for one night. The location is good, right behind Khaosan road. It’s clean and hotel staff is amazing. Outside the building there are lots of restaurants... if you’re on a strict budget, you can walk down the road at the corner and have a $1 meal. I will definitely stay in this hotel next time I fo to Bangkok.

I'd say this place exceeded my expectations, I've stayed in some boutique hotels which, while having great decor and facilities, still feel like a "hotel". But the atmosphere and staff at Bangkok Publishing Residence give you a very cozy and intimate feeling, while the overall decor and amenities feel luxurious but not pretentious. I especially love the rooftop gar...

This hotel is very near Khaosan road and other historic places Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Golden Mountain Temple... Our room is spacious enough for 3 adults and the staffs are very helpful and nice. If you are looking for triple room with reasonable price, I will recommend this hotel (after checking a lot of hotels in Bangkok).

I stayed at this hotel last May 13 to May 17, 2018. I arrived late around 1:30 am, check in was smooth but I was placed in the 4th floor even I requested a lower floor cause of my surgery on my knee. I was told that all the rooms were booked and they would move me the following. The following day I met Magali, I guess she was the owner and she moved me to the 2nd lev...
