We stayed only 2 nights, just passing through Bangkok on our way home from Vietnam. A VERY big hotel, makes it a bit impersonal. But very good rates from Agoda makes up for this. The area is sort of in-between tourist area (grand palace, wat pho etc) and all the big shopping malls, which was great for our family. Right outside of the hotel there is a lot of small marke...

great hotel in a great location. 5 mins walk to khaosan road. 20 mins walk to the grand palace and wat pho. add another 5 mins boat ride (cost 4 baht) will take you to wat arun. and plenty other destinations near the hotel. we didn't try the breakfast, so we can't comment on that. the room that we had, which was deluxe river view was great. facing the canal behind the...

My stay was great up until I was told the wrong time for breakfast. Then when I asked to swap for lunch because I had missed breakfast it turned into a situatiation, of he said she said. I was told I was wrong and that request could not be met. I didnt see the big deal. I booked for two nights knowing I would only sleep one night and have breakfast once( which I missed...

rambuttri village is at rambuttri street, surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, tours&ticket-offices, massage places and a lot of other facilities in the neighbourhood. It's also close to main historic attractions of Bangkok like the Grand palace, Wat arun, Wat Pho and the Chao Phraya river. In combination with the clean rooms with airco and safety deposit and usua...

Right in the middle of where the action is. We had a room on the 6th floor, facing the street where the bars and shops are, but we didn’t have issues with the noise. You can walk to Khao San road, and even to the Grand Palace/ Wat Pho. Buses from the city can bring you back close to this hotel. And the wifi was really reliable.

We had a super time here - fantastic service, easy check in/out (24 hour). Rooftop pool is a real highlight after being in the city all day - and a real haven from the hecticness of Khao San Road. Despite being right in the thick of it, our room was quiet and we didn't have any noise problems. From there, it's a short walk to pubs bars, or for culture and good eats int...

To be honest I was baffled. Some of the reviews said it was tired, wasn't a four star, poor facilities.... We thought the taxi driver had the wrong hotel as we arrived and the bell-man opened our door. Check in was easy. The pool was great to swim (I mean big enough - obviously pools are for swimming). There were plenty of loungers around for sun bathing. I did the in...

Nanda is the nicest hotel we could have found in Bangkok. For a very nice price you get to stay in a calm area but walking distance from khao san and all the buzz... we walked several times, tuk tuk is about 50 baht which is close to nothing. As an architect, I was overwhelmed by the design and beauty of the hotel. Interesting design books in the lobby... A week before...

the royal hotel is in a great location if your interested in seeing the temples. all are within walking distance, the grand palace, wat pho, temple of the reclining buddha etc.also the infamous khao san rd, which is a backpackers havenhas lots of good inexpensive shopping. there are plenty of taxis available, but don't get the ones inside the hotel, they seem to charge mo...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It's a nice escape from the busy road below, or if you are looking for it, it's right at your fingertips. The hotel was good value for money with all the basic amenities you would need for a short stay. For being on khaosan road we found that our room was supprisingly quiet in the evening but the aircon was abit noisey. It is in ...

location is right on khaosan rd. which is great if you don't mind staying right in the hustle & bustle of bangkok. there are plenty of restaurants in the area that you can grab a meal, not to mention the street is littered with food stalls for a cheap and quick bite. we ended up visiting wat pho temple which was only a 20 min walk away from the hotel. so if you're look...

Stayed here for five nights. Very clean, modern and industrial feel. A very new hotel when I stayed there (less than six months old). The bed as extremely comfortable, the bathroom was great with ample hot water, everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were really helpful. Also appreciated having a safety box in the room for my valuables. In terms of style, it a...

Had a great time with my wife. Location is next to khao san road and very good food joints nearby. Many tourist locations are near by like wat pho , grand palace, wat arun...! Breakfast menu is good..! Peace around the complex.. So highly recommended for couples, who are looking to chill out at holidays..! 😄

I travelled with two other girlfriends from the Indian. This was our first trip to Thailand and our first stop was Bangkok. We we're exhausted when we arrived but excited to be there. We had prearranged airport transfers so we would not need to worry about transportation upon arrival, which I highly recommend. The ride took about 45 minutes to the hotel from the airpor...

Everything was as expected or even better. Location is perfect - 10 min away from Khao San, 30 min away from Wat Pho or royal palace. If you need a place to stay in Bangkok and want to be in the vicinity of major tourist attractions - you found the place. Staff is very welcoming and always polite. One tiny thing was the situation with late checkout - on our last eveni...

We only got to stay 2 nights but would have stayed a week or longer. The surrounds are beautiful. Staff were courteous, polite, friendly and had a sense of humour. It felt like there were a lot of staff to help and I noticed loads of public and quiet areas to enjoy and use Internet or have even small business meetings or meals in semi-private areas. We requested late ...

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is clean and new, centrally located and near to city attractions, like Wat Pho (Temple of Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Giant Swing, Wat Intharavihan (The standing Buddha), Dusit Zoo, Grand Palace and The temple of Emerald Buddha. The hotel also has a clean pool where you can relax and see the panoramic ...

Staff were very helpful & friendly and would write directions in Thai so we could get taxis around the city. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, they even had a safe, working fridge & hairdryer! The location was 20 minutes walking from Khao San Road & a reasonable taxi fare from Wat Arun & Wat Pho. Breakfast was the best we had in Thailand and very traditional wi...

Located at the hot tourist spot walking distance the the famous Grand Palace and Wat Pho. It's also just around Kao Shan Road for those who enjoys the night life and a good massage. Sound from nearby pubs can be heard through the walls though. The closest transportation from this location is by texi, tuktuk, bus or take the boat from the nearest jetty which costs only ...

This hotel is near Kho San Road but happily not near enough to be disturbed by noise from it. Easy reach of the Grand Palace and Wat Pho and other major attractions. There are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks nearby as the metro does not reach the area. The Dewan is clean with decent sized rooms and helpful staff and has a roof top pool.

We were three couples, and we made ample use of the hotel tour services. A little bit pricey, but if you are knew in Bangkok and Thailand they are perfect to go around safely. You are 10 minutes away from Khaosan road if you want some nightlife and good shopping, and twenty minutes (or 20 baht away) from the Grand Palace and the best temples in Bangkok. If you want the...

Stayed in a stardard room which was compact but good.As the room was on the road side it was a bit noisy. The only problem we had was the smell from the water in the toilet we were eventally moved to a larger room but there was still a slight odour from the toilet. This is somsthing the hotel needs to address as it is a 'put off'.On the + side the hotel is new the room...

The location was perfect for being close to the action but still quiet for sleeping. Walking distance to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, etc. The travel agent downstairs was super helpful and a pleasure to work with to organize plans. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice.

Nice location, we can state only positive things about the hotel. Moreover, for what you get it was very cheap! The breakfast is very, very nice (Thai and Continental) and you can sit outside to enjoy it!!! The pool was great for us, since we like to swim. We used it after sightseeing in Bangkok, in the evening we were swimming and this was really luxiourous for us. ...

Only 30seconds to wat bowonniet to do pindapatta to about 100 Bhante Sangha. Khaosan road only 2-4minutes walk. Food & shopping are all around within seconds! Recommended for those don’t mind to sleep at crowd music / bass sound until 2 am midnight. Almost Everything can be found here and pretty affordable cheap price. One same road with Ibis 4 or 5 star hotel. Just...

The location is close to the nightlife, several restaurants and several dressmaking shops for wedding dresses. Lots of local day and night markets and street food all close to hotel. You can walk to the river and the the Grand temple. Central location, so it is noisy. Ask for a quiet room

I'd say this place exceeded my expectations, I've stayed in some boutique hotels which, while having great decor and facilities, still feel like a "hotel". But the atmosphere and staff at Bangkok Publishing Residence give you a very cozy and intimate feeling, while the overall decor and amenities feel luxurious but not pretentious. I especially love the rooftop gar...

This hotel is very near Khaosan road and other historic places Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Golden Mountain Temple... Our room is spacious enough for 3 adults and the staffs are very helpful and nice. If you are looking for triple room with reasonable price, I will recommend this hotel (after checking a lot of hotels in Bangkok).

Hotel is situated behind soi which have really cheap local Thai food ranging from about 50thb. Phuket is indeed expensive and the average prices are 100-200thb. The next best restaurant is called PhukeTurk. Cheap and tasty. The night receptionist is really friendly and welcoming. The rooms perfectly clean and have all the amenities for long stay.... Huge fridge, clo...
