I am delighted to give my feedback regarding my recent stays at Hyatt Regency Mumbai. I stayed there on 2 different occasions: 04.01 - 07.01 2013 and 09.02 - 13.02 3013. My wife and I arrived 04.00 AM Friday 04.01, exhausted after travelling for 20 hours. We were met at the airport by a friendly driver who efficiently and competently brought us to the hotel. At the reception we were quickly registered and offered upgrading (membership to Club Regency) for an additional fee of app. NOK 450. which I accepted. We had a peaceful stay at the hotel where we enjoyed the amenities at Club Regency and the services of the spa department. All this was of the highest standards and more than fulfilled my expectations. When I checked out, however, I was somewhat taken aback because I was presented with a bill that was app. NOK 2000 higher than expected. The staff duly explained that this was the fee for Club Regency membership. I explained that I had probably agreed to this, but that I had misunderstood and thought NOK 450 was for the whole stay. The receptionist just picked up the phone, explained what had happened, listened briefly and promptly tore up the first bill and printed out a bill according to my misunderstanding of the fee. I must admit I was very impressed by this professional "the customer is always right" approach. The second stay was from 09.02 - 13.02. We were welcomed back almost as old friends and the receptionist Mr. Vipol now very carefully explained the terms for upgrading to Club Regency membership so that no misunderstanding was possible. We agreed to the upgrading because we found on our first stay that it was very good value for money. Then Mr. Vipol himself accompanied us to our room. I must admit we were pleasantly surprised when I found that this time the upgrading included a suite. The staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Whatever request I made there was always help. When my iPad would not charge personally took care of the problem

A hotel that understands service”

after travelling through india and staying in some interesting places it was a pleasure to come back to mumbai and stay at the hyatt regency. the rooms are great, food is very good as was the gym and spar facilities. i have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and the staff at this hotel should be used as an example for other places. we stayed their on two separate occasions. the first time my partner was sick, the staff were amazing and even organised complementary food for her. i know i will be back for a third time.. location is great for airport transit, particularly international airport

Absolute Quality”

Honestly, stop looking for other hotels, this place is where you want to stay. Although it is further out from the South Mumbai/ Bandra it is worth the extra 15-30mins of travelling for great food, great service and great facilities. We generally stay in Hyatt Regency's and Grand Hyatt's, however just out of coincidence not really for brand loyalty, however our stay in Mumbai has solidified our loyalty to the Hyatt brand. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with something different everyday, do try the tomato chutney and Indian Chai, it's amazing. (We had to obtain the recipe from the chef it was that good!). The pool facilities are lovely and get the sun for most part of the day. The rooms are of great size, with a lovely large bathroom. The concierge was most helpful in every way, really listened and thought creatively for our needs. Without a shadow of a doubt, you should stay here :)

One of the best”

My experience with Hyatt Regency Mumbai was exceptional! The staff...it was all about the staff...They went out of their way to get to know me and to make sure I was happy. I am used to very good hotel service, but this was one of the best.

Revitalized after a 12 hour flight”

I booked into the Hyatt Regency to recover between two long flights with multiple connections, arriving at 6:00 in the morning. Mr. Rane, who checked me in, gave me a fantastic late check-out that enabled me to recover 7 hours of sleep before taking off again, aided by an excellent bed and shower. I felt extremely comfortable in the hotel thanks to the whole hotel staff, who were all very courteous and helpful.

Excellent stay”

I travel to Mumbai at least once every year. Hyatt Regency is my most preferred option. I had a very pleasant stay as always. Convenient location, cleanliness, helpful staff just add to the overall experience.

Good place for business traveller”

I stayed in Hyatt Regency during my business travel and there were no surprises during my stay. The hotel is what you expect in Mumbai - good service, comfortable rooms and good facilities. I will return to Hyatt Regency.

Good security, near to the ariport ”

The stay at Hyatt Regency was excellent. The hotel is located very near to the international airport. The design and outlook of the hotel is very nice, this hotel also ensuure good security for the guests and feel safe stay in the hotel.

Easy access to the airport ”

This hotel is situated about 10-15 minutes from the Mumbai International and Domestic airport. Airport shuttle service is available, however there is extra cost of £20 for a return journey (less than 10 minutes drive). Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. There are two restaurants (buffet and Italian) and a bar available on the site, however we found them slightly over priced. Our buffet dinner for two and 4 x 330ml beer cost was around £80. On the hotel ground's there is a good size outdoor swimming where you can relax and unwind.

A comfortable stay for business trip”

The stay at Hyatt Regency was very comfortable. It is less than a 5-min ride away from the international airport. And Andheri is idea location to stay at if one plans on going to different parts of Mumbai for business meetings. The staff is very courteous, helpful, and the rooms are good - I loved the big slanting window across a wall with wide window sill in my room. The view isn't great though (just overlooks the traffic enroute to the airport!). The spa, steam / sauna services are good.

A great stay ”

Very pleasant and polite staff behavior, Spacious and clean room, Well structured bathroom and all you need are kept handy. Location is very close to airport. Hardly half an hour drive to all important places of Mumbai. Loved the amenities, food, drinks and mini bar. Will definitely chose Hyatt when it comes for a stay.

Great Place great staff”

The Hyatt Regency Mumbai is a great place to stay if on business. The place is buzzing with activity and has a great feeling about it.

Fantastic hotel - but no ATM on site”

The hotel is very close to the Mumbai International airport. Had a little trouble trying to locate the hotel's pickup. Had to ask someone else - wish they had a sign/placard. Once inside the hotel, everything was fantastic. A lady from the reception walked us to the room, and there was no need to stop by the reception at all. We arrived late at night, I was hungry, and the restaurant was open for business - that was really good. ATM. I needed an ATM, but the hotel doesn't have one (that was strange). They suggested, I walk next door to another hotel - a 5 minute walk, and it was around 2 in AM. I had to do it, as we had no cash, and we had a early morning flight. Luckily nothing happened. That was the only negative I came up. Overall, I would stay there again, and for a longer stay.

Incredible Hotel with fantastic service”

The hotel is very comfortable and provides a relaxing environment after a day's work in Mumbai. The staff are absolutely top-notch and I found the restaurants and morning/evening buffets to be varied and of a high standard. There is also a good fitness centre and swimming pool at the hotel. Location is a little of a mixed bag, great for the airport and the nearby business parks, probably not so good for sightseeing/tourists. If you want a quick 'in-and-out' trip to Mumbai this is a great option

Modern transit hotel in Mumbai”

this is a great stopover hotel at mumbai international airport, if you don't want to go to juhu beach nor central mumbai. transfers and club benefits worked perfectly well and we got a free continental breakfast when waiting for check-in in the morning. had a perfect rest in a pleasant environment. however, there is a building site next to the pool area which causes some noise in the daytime. but inside the hotel, everything was perfect for us and the staff were excellent.

Outstanding Hotel”

This Hotel is where I will stay from now on in Mumbai. Its close to the airport and is a retreat from the busy street. Food is great as is the outdoor pool area. One draw back is that my room smelt very musty as most rooms do during monsoon and there is no chance of any fresh air...not sure how modern hotels can deal with this problem.
