Very good hotel! Staffs are great and they can speak english decently. Breakfast is nice too. Room a bit small but very very comfy and clean with great beds. Hotel location is directly facing Kyoto station so it's very convenient and there's a convenient store right behind the hotel too. Would recommend this hotel to those coming to Kyoto :)

Nice & Accessible Hotel”
Booked this hotel at the last minute as i had screwed up with my flight booking. Anyways, in summary a nice quaint hotel that is very accessible to the train station, subway and bus terminal. Pros: Near transportation options, Kyoto Station - JR Trains and Shinkansen, Their metro line, Kintetsu Subway, and Kyoto Eki Mae bus terminal. Clean and friendly staff who can speak English very well ( helpful for people with limited Japanese vocab) Have laundry facilities Cons: No fault i can find Need to install note to coins machine ar the laundry area

I booked a room for one night. The location of this hotel is very close to Kyoto station only 3 minutes by walking. The staffs are very friendly and can speak English. So, there was very comfortable to be there.

Small room but amazing location just behind kyoto station ”
Shower cream, shampoo and conditioner smells amazing. Toilet has sunken bathtub and great water pressure, cant complain. Just exit from Hachijo, near to shikanshen ticket exchange area and able to board the trains fast. Staffs are helpful but room abit too small. Bed are springbed type. Recommended for first timer in kyoto.

Loved that it was near the station-- had access to the rails and buses. It's near the mall as well. They even provided umbrellas during the rainy days we stayed free of charge. They let us leave our bags upon arrival as we were early for check in. It was a breeze checking out as well. Will return. :)

New Year’s week stay”
This hotel is convenient due to the fact that you are across from the Kyoto Station and there’s a breakfast buffet that are great. The staff is helpful and speak English if you don’t know Japanese. They are affordable and overall a nice place to stay if you want if you are looking for a couple of nights stay.

Great location”
Strategic location just opposite Kyoto Station. Breakfast was simple but up to standard. The only cons is because our room is facing the main road and it can be disturbing by the traffic light sound and car passing by. We are unable to adjust the air conditioning temperature so we need to open window as we feel too warm and stuffy.

Superb location. Space a bit small. ”
The hotel is located right across from Kyoto Station's Hachijo exit (the station is gigantic so you might have to walk a bit inside the station if you were coming from JR line or subway - roughly a 2-3 min walk). There's a lot of things to do at Kyoto Station, including food court, shopping malls, supermarket and grocery store. Now to the hotel itself...the room is very small. If your suitcase is larger than the medium size you might not be able to open it fully laying on the ground (definitely not for the larger suitcases that people bring when they go on longer trips or specifically for shopping). The room is very clean and fairly new. I got the back side of the hotel so there wasn't any "view" looking out the window so it was a bummer. Overall the hotel is fair in terms of its price. The location is superb and perfect for travelers who spend 10 hours out walking and just want to be back after getting off the train. Thumbs up!

If you are coming in or out by train, Osaka airport bus etc, this is a very convenient hotel. Train in, drop the bags off. Early morning bus to KIX - just roll out of bed.

Rooms are super cramped, cant hardly move around with the two of us in the room. One has either go outside or stay in bed for the other one ro move around the room. But if you’re just in Kyoto to explore the city and be outside the whole day and just need a room to crash on, this is perfect for the location and value

optimal location, Kyoto station ”
Small room but very functional out of the Kyoto station. One comment and a tip, the restaurant is small and therefore there is que most of the morning. If I will visit the hotel again, i will consider the cost of the room including breakfast (not so diverse) against with no breakfast.
