Perfect Location - in the heart of Waikiki !!! Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants.”
We had a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and our 17 year old son. The carpets are a little dated and worn and the dishes in the kitchenette were the type you purchased in the 70’s - as they were so old they felt grubby and overused. The bedroom was great and having 2 bathrooms was fantastic. Our son slept in the pull down bed which he loved. The apartment was very clean. We would definitely stay here again as it was nice to have a kitchen to make toast bagels or make a sandwich.

    Just Perfect”
So Hawaii was the destination to take a couple of Year 12 Aussie Schoolies rather than the trashy Bali and Gold Coast . The Imperial was just fantastic. I had done alot of research and decided it was a great deal !.We arrived super early on a Sunday at 0700hrs and they managed to get us into our 2 rooms just like that with no waiting which was rather fortunate. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean . Our room had a full size fridge and an amazing view from the 18th floor where the girls room on the 10th floor had an ordinary view and a smaller fridge but a much bigger room and a better bed configuration( 2 x queen beds) .We booked 2 x Palm Suites. We were able to get clean beach towels daily if we wanted and the pool and gym area perfect for our needs. There was construction going on at a refurbished hotel next door at 0800hrs but we were well and truly up and about by then. I would definitely come back to The Imperial again and this is our 4th visit to Hawaii .

Great location but much to be desired ”
Could not ask for a better location for the price. The room was outdated, but comfortable. The bathroom smelled like body odor, even after leaving the window open all day. The rooftop pool was not as cool as I thought it'd be. There was really not much of a view at all. The hot tubs are not on the same level as the pool, which seemed really odd. The knobs were falling off of the hot tubs. Really, the whole building needs to be renovated. This is a timeshare location. It's would be really upset if I bought a timeshare, and this is what I got. But for just staying for 2 nights, it was adequate.

Nice clean hotel room close to the beach”
We just stayed here for one night and the hotel room we had (Banyan Suite) was good for our small family of 3 - it was nice and clean and tidy, had great air-con and a small balcony with a view of the water. It had a bedroom with a (small) double bed plus a sofa bed and pull down bed in the living room, but I don't think you'd want 6 adults in there for too long as it would feel cramped. The location is great if you enjoy the bustle of Waikiki - just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and there are lots of shops and restaurants directly downstairs. The check-in time was 4pm which seemed quite late but our room was ready when we arrived around 2.30pm.

    Great location, friendly staff
It's just one road apart from the beach front. Just step outside, and you'll be surrounded by shops and restaurants and bars. Walk 2 min and you'll already be on Kalakaua Street, and if you follow this, within 5 min you'll be in the mail Waikiki central area. Staff was very friendly too! Room condition is fine, very clearn and spacious.

    Terrific apartment”
    Perfectly-designed 1-bed apartment
apartments/suites are very well-designed, with a comfortable bedroom, spacious living-room with a sofa, table & chairs, good-sized open plan kitchenette, and a pull-down bed hidden in the wall to convert the place to a 2-bedroom to sleep 4 people. i think the sofa is convertible so maybe even 6 people could stay in comfort. hotel facilities include gym, sauna, jacuzzi. gym is excellent for aerobic exercise, slightly less well-equipped for muscle work. location is ideal, centre of town, a minute's stroll to the beach and to popular bars & restaurants. i only paid , at which price it's about the same as a standard double in a good-ish hotel, but much more comfortable.

Nowhere near a 4 star property”
We arrived really late at 12.30am so I think we were just given the worst room in the hotel. We paid $250+ AUD for this room so were expecting a little more. Our room had a 3/4 bed that folded out from the wall and didn't lie flat so we felt like our heads were lower all night and it was filthy in behind the bed. We had two thin pillows and a sheet basically. The air conditioner was so noisy and the bathroom was small and when we stood in the shower over the bath the base of the bath actually moved! Felt very ripped off and disappointed.

The locations was fabulous!! Where you want to be! The main reception was nice and the staff are fabulous! But the rooms are out dated and if you wanted new towel, you have to take your old ones to house keeping and exchange them over and that goes for sheets to. They had everything you want in a hotel, pool, hot tub, suana, washing machine and dryer, smokers area where you can have a few drinks.

Room is rather dim and service is not wholehearted and what I do not like is a hidden additional charge of US100 for maintenance check is applied when you register at the hotel reception. AT the moment this amount has been deducted from my CR card and I don't know how much it will be reimbursed!

This hotel was extremely well placed in Waikiki. Everything was within walking distance, or a 5 minute taxi to Ala Moana Mall. The rooms could be updated slightly but honestly, wasn't a big deal. Everything was in full working order, clean and tidy. The murphy bed was awesome (our friend had some doubts about this initially), extremely comfy. It is in a slightly awkward position but easy to pack away during the day if need be. Overall, I would 100% stay here again.

This was our 7th trip to Hawaii for four adults and this Hotel was great, We had the Koa Suite which had a room with bathroom and two Queen beds. The main living area had a Queen size sofa bed which was very comfortable and bathroom. We also had a large fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Location was great with a short walk to the beach shops bars and restaurants. We normally stay at the Outrigger beach resort but we changed this time due to costs.

Choosing accommodation is never easy & I have to say my 11 nights at Imperial Hawaii Resort was a big part in my Hawaiian holiday being as nice as it was. Everyone has what they're looking for & for me it was location. Lewers street where you enter the hotel is VERY beautiful at night & great restaurants to feast at. The accommodation in the room was adequate, with a little wear & tear. Riding the elevators I could see one floor was having a refurbishment, while finished floors looked very nice! I'm sure you can pay more & get a better "beach view", but I was happy with what I spent & would come back again.

Great location and big rooms for families”
The Imperial Hawaii is a timeshare resort offering studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. The rooms are a bit dated but the hotel is in the process of renovating. The rooftop pool is small but suitable as the beach is only a 5 min walk. Rooms have small kitchens and timeshare owners have access to a full kitchen on 26th floor with amazing views. A visit to the rooftop bar is a must at sunset!

location - cleanliness - friendly staff
Stayed at the Imperial for 11 days - location is great - I picked it because it was close enough to walk to the Honolulu Marathon start and it is also close to waikiki beach and the main shopping strip - ABC store on ground level is good for food shopping - room was large enough with a kitchenette and very clean - we had a high floor (22) so road noise wasn't an issue - there is a gym and hot-tub if required - pool on the top floor is smallish but adequate - staff were very friendly and checkin and checkout was very smooth - we would definitely stay here again

Location, staff friendliness and helpfulness, price
We really enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Hawaii Resort at Waikiki. From check-in to check-out, it was a good experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable (we booked a month and a half in advance on Agoda). The location is great - Lewers St is a nice and cool street! It's walking distance to Waikiki beach and to restaurants and bars, and we walked everywhere, except to the Ala Moana Center; for that we took the bus or taxi. Technically the Imperial Hawaii Resort at Waikiki is not a hotel (it is a timeshare), and it was explained to us at check-in time that there would not be chambermaid service, and that if we wanted fresh towels daily, we could exchange the used towels for fresh towels on the 3rd floor (housekeeping). Towels for use at the pool or beach were also provided. The room itself was big enough and comfortable, and it had a nice lanai, although there was no view (the only view was of buildings). The only thing that we weren't thrilled about was the size of the bathroom - it was a little tight in there - but again, it was clean enough and the bathtub had grab rails, which was good. So all in all, it was a very pleasant 4-night stay, and we'd have no qualms booking ourselves there on our next visit to Honolulu!
