Hotels with indoor pool in Baan Grood Beach

"The hotel rooms are basic, a single bedroom with a half open roofed toilet and shower bathroom tacked onto the back of the room. We loved the fact you could shower and look at the sky, tree tops etc above, reminded us of past holidays in Africa. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, airconditioner fine, fridge and TV but didn't turn it on. Beach walks and bobbing around the pool with a pinacolada was far more inviting then watching TV. The breakfast was a choice of cornflakes, eggs (fried or scrambled), sausages and ham, toast and jam, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice, all in all fine. They have a nice selection of dishes on the menu for lunch and evening as well. We dined most nights up the beach a bit, at some lovely little restaurants and a couple of flash ones as well, in Baan Grood, where it is a little busier, catering for big bus tour groups and more people. This is about 3 - 4kms up the same beach the Rachavadee sits on. We would happily stay there again, don't expect 5 star, expect peace and tranquility in spades."

"Great food in the village for cheap money. Skip the touristy places at the beach for food. Local market on town is great. Hotel : Staff is super friendly, place itself a little bit expensive. English is not the best but they have a great heart for guests."

"This was a nice surprise in Ban Krut! The hotel is new and clean and the room had a contemporary look. Great wifi and I could see the beach from my bed. (3rd floor rooms have the best view) Very nice, friendly (but not over-friendly) staff, and great location at the Beach Cross Roads. Also very quiet - my only niggle is that the walls must be very thin, I could hear everything from the next room. I also would prefer if guests weren't allowed to smoke on the balcony which spoiled an otherwise magical evening star watching for me. But in general, this is a nice new find in Ban Krut, and I loved my long walks along the very windy beaches. Will come back!"
