Hotels with indoor pool in Khao Takiab

"We stayed here in February, big clean room in the main building. Large balcony with table and chairs for relaxing and some of the most beautiful tile work in the bath room I have seen. The pool and pool area were clean, well maintained and a welcome break. The place is about a kilo from the beach and the bus stop is just outside the door so a quick ride to town is easy. The town has bars and a nice shopping center at a bus stop (Village Market mall). We spoke highly of it at rated it well. We just returned from south Thailand to spend two nights awaiting our flight out of Bangkok and rented a small, lower priced room (1/3 less). The room was small as expected. The room was clean. Now, I had complaints and did go to the manager who offered us a bigger/different room but the room size was no the problem. I had read some other posts and they had poor/bad reviews and we wondered why when our experience was nothing but the best. Well, the bathroom of the small room was stained with black mold on the ceiling, backside of the door and some on the walls, that's why I mentioned it to the manager. Second, the blanket was just that, a polyester/fake wool, old and scruffy (and no cover or sheet). This was the first time I had seen that in Asia, every place we have stayed (in 90 days) provided a comforter with a cover. The earlier room we had rented here had one too so why did they have this blanket in a cheaper room? SO, LOOK AT THE ROOM BEFORE YOU AGREE TO IT, specifically the bathroom. If you see a blanket, tell them you want a comforter for comforts and hygienic reasons. If you see black mold, get another room. We think this a great place to unwind after a frantic week in Bangkok."

"hotel easy to find and not too big. ok it's not on the beach but that means it less expensive than other options in khao takiab. you probably need your own transport - if you don't have than i suggest stay in hua hin itself. but it's quieter here and the beach is clean and the sea not rough."

"Located next to golf course and close to khao takiab beach. Escape the busy streets of Hua Hin and relax at Bihai. Nice rooms with balconies and pool. Good breakfast and excellent staff. I like this place! "

"No complaints about our two nights at the Riad. Located on a quiet side street south of Khao Takiab, the hotel is ingeniously laid out around a central pool area, and our "Sleeping Cat" rooms on the ground floor opened directly onto the swimming pool. Well-appointed room with everything necessary, including an ensuite jacuzzi we did not even use. Breakfasts were decent without being exactly stellar, and were served in a pleasant covered area opening onto the pool. The "cat" motif is everywhere, and is quite sweet. The resident cats were well-behaved, but if you happen to hate cats, this may not be the place for you. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Riad is not right by the sea, but a short walk (c. 300 metres) gets you to a beach (Suan Son Pradipath) that is - in our opinion - much better and less touristy than Hua Hin itself. There is also a good golf course close by. If you have a car (we did)) there is limited parking under the building, and songthaew buses run from the Supatra-by-the-Sea restaurant a short distance to the north, and will take you all the way to Hua Hin for a fraction of the cost of a taxi. Plenty of good seafood restaurants not far away in Khao Takiab. Considering all these benefits, and the fact that prices were reasonable, we were surprised to be almost the only Westerners in the place, and to learn that 90-95% of guests are Thais, mostly Bangkok weekenders. I would have expected others to pick up on a niche boutique hotel such as this, but perhaps tourists really ARE sheep, or maybe the Riad owners ought to get their website going properly: it has been "under construction" for far too long. "

"The room is very clean and large room, complete kitchen equipment, hot water and WiFi, accommodation near the beach, there is a transfer of accommodation all the time."

"For this price you get the very best out of it. Hotel room is very nice. Upon arrival staff greet you with a smile. We did not manage to check into the room that we book but instead rearrange with another room (different view). We like the bathroom as it comes with big tub and a separate shower area. Shower water pressure is very strong. Air cond is very cold. If only our room is with super king size bed instead of 2 queen bed. Hotel facilities is good. Swimming pool is small but still acceptable as not much people using it. One end of the pool have jacuzzi and the other end is kids pool. Hotel spa massage is good. Hotel Location is close to weekend cicada night market but further away from town centre. Need not worry about going to 7-11 as they have 24 hrs counter selling snacks and water. Breakfast is good too but choice is not a lot. Staff is so helpful as they help us to book our bus ticket back to bangkok. Whatever queries you have they will help you with a smile. I will return again in future. I hope the staff will continue providing their best service with a smile. "

"Small hotel in Khao Takiab area. Our rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a small pool, which you cannot really swim. Choices of breakfast are limited, but delicious, cook-to-order and more than enough to fill the empty stomach after a morning run. Highly recommend the hotel if you look for a small, quiet place to lock yourself in for a night or two."

"You can stay up to 3 people in the room. The room has the pool view. Walkable distance from the sea (about ten minutes). Free parking space and they have a restaurant and minimarts really close to the place. You can check it at anytime as well. Plus they call me to confirm the booking within 5 mins after I book. To me the only downside is they don't provide any soap or shampoo. "
