"My best stay ever. I have tried hotels in Manila and in Europe, Okada provided the best service. The amenities are amazing. The staff are welcoming. I booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of our rooms got upgraded to the executive suite for the sole reason that it was our first time. Uh-mazing! right? The breakfast buffet did not disappoint as well! "

"During my three-week-long stay in the Philippines I was travelling to different parts of the country but City Garden Hotel Makati was my base in Manila. I loved the two times that I stayed there, with the hotel's excellent staff from reception to restaurant to phone operator to housekeeping! They were all personable, efficient, and responsive to my needs. When I had a wifi problem in my room the first time I stayed there, they were quick to install an access point, and even offered to change my room if the problem had persisted. The second time I checked in, the hotel gave me a room upgrade to compensate for the wifi problem I had had on my first stay. I will definitely stay at City Garden on my next trip to Manila."

"Location, Location, Location... I’m Hotel is the perfect location for a 4 star hotel since it’s in Makati area and if your looking for central area to roam north or south of metro Manila, then I’m in the perfect place for you. So now let’s nit pick, room was clean and no weird odor which is a must. You even get a welcome cake when you enter your room which is a nice touch. Sheets was clean and didn’t seem worn so that a plus. Bathroom has a glass see through from the bedroom which is starting to trend amongst 4-5 star modern hotels but where I’m fails is the design flaw in the bathroom. The floor is flat so water starts to flood after a few minutes which is a fail. Also notice some spots the room attendants missed cleaning in the bathroom which is taboo for 4 star hotels. Shower pressure is strong and hot so thats a plus. Room service food is not bad either, fast and food was great. Roof top bar is fancy and that mixologist makes a mean bloody merry that is very rare find in Philippines. Overall I’m still comfortable giving IM HOTEL a 4 star rating. If you can get them under 5k Pesos or under 100 dollars a night then this place is really worth it . I personally wouldn’t go past that rate."

"this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive . "Having stayed at Trader, Heritage hotels in Manila which were also rated 5 stars, I was trying Diamond hotel with cautious since those two hotels were disappointing for what they charged ! When I arrived at Diamond hotel the 1st time, my view at Manila 5 star hotels have finally changed. With similar price, you don't only get the pros I have mentioned earlier, you finally find a hotel which their renovation, furniture and bedding materials can match what we expect to find in a 5 star hotels in rest of Asia. Due to my tight schedule, I didn't have a chance to check out their breakfast nor did I manage to go to nearby restaurants and shopping area which I was told within walking distance. Once again, much better than the other two I mentioned earlier. If you have never been to any hotels in Manila, don't border looking for any hotels lower than 5 stars unless you are on a tight budget. Once I have stayed at the Diamond hotet, I won't need to search for another hotel to stay in my next trip !"

"Housed in the tallest building in all of the Philippines, Grand Hyatt Hotel is perhaps the best in Manila. Service is attentive and helpful. Facilities are well polished and squeaky clean. The pool though is smaller compared to other 5 star hotels in the city. Buffet breakfast has great selections. "

"Without a doubt, the reason I continue to stay at Century Park Hotel on my many travels to Manila is the staff. They amaze me how they can recognize me between trips and call me by name. Everyone from the Front Desk, the cashier, the managers, the restaurant, security, room attendants, know my name and greet me warmly on every encounter. Beyond that, the hotel is conveniently and centrally located. It is situated adjacent to Harrison Plaza shopping mall (old and antiquated, but can meet a traveler's needs...it has a department store, pharmacy, banks, massage, grocery, and other services). Hotel rooms are a bit worn, but the management is gradually making improvements. The common areas are well maintained and attractive. Nonetheless, the rooms are adequate, clean, and spacious, albeit not comparable to a Marriott or Hilton, although the hotel markets itself in the same category. The negatives: service continues to be sub-standard in the Atrium Lounge, taxis are often difficult to obtain, and there is an absence of seating in both the upper and lower lobbies so that if you are meeting guests, they have no place to sit while awaiting you to come down or if you are being picked up by a friend, there is no place for you to sit while awaiting the arrival or your ride. Nothing insurmountable. I have stayed at multiple hotels in Manila over 20 years and I wouldn't stay anywhere other than Century Park and I have been loyal to them for at least the past 12 years because they have been loyal to me."
