Great find”

I chose Jayleen because they had a good review rating, were cheap and located right where I wanted to be near Clarke Quay. I was glad of my choice. Buses run from the front door and the MRT station is straight across the road. The hotel service was excellent and personal (thanks Steven and Michelle). The facilities were more than adequate for the price of the room. The only issue I had was that there was no hot water was running at 6am on Sunday morning - I'm sure this was a glitch that was overcome since. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and helpful staff”

The Jayleen Hotel is perfectly situated on New Bridge Road right across the road from Clarke Quay Central Mall, so you can get most things you need very easily. It is also very close to a subway station so very easy to get places by bus, taxi or underground. The room was quite small with just enough space for a what I think was a queen sized bed, and a small walkway to the bathroom. However, I believe this is par for the course in Singapore at this price range so no complaints. Its not great if you plan on spending a lot of time in the room, but if you're just using it as a base to sleep, its pretty good. The toilet was a wet room with shower and the water pressure and heat were fine. The room did not have much natural light as the windows looked out onto a small gap in the building and faced another wall about a meter away so opening the curtains was not really an option. What made the place was Mr Bruce Lee at the front desk who was somehow always there, whether I was there at 8am or 11pm, and was always friendly and helpful. He offered advice on how to get to places, was able to book taxis for me at a moments notice and was always chatty. I really appreciated his presence and it made the place so much more lively and fun than it would have been otherwise. The one thing I would suggest is the addition of a bedside lamp as otherwise when you wake up in the morning you are forced to go from complete darkness to the bright fluorescent light in the ceiling which can be a bit a shock to the system. I would go back if I was going on business and needed a reasonably priced place to crash for a few nights.

Good location and friendly staff”

This hotel was in a good location - just directly across the street from the Clarke Quay station. The room was a bit small and we had little space to move around, but it was right if you're just sleeping in your room and away for most of the day. There is no breakfast included, but we had the option to take breakfast in the other hotel branch and pay on the spot. We will definitely check in again here when we come back.

small but comfy room in great location”

the location is the best thing right outside hotel door is a main road that has loads of busses connecting to many areas near or far. just across the street there is a mall with many shops and food options, same location for the MRT station of purple line. 7-eleven right outside the hotel. super convenient. 5 min walk to clarke quay bar area. staff is super helpfull and nice. room is small but arranged very smart with safe box and luggage space under the bed. great for solo travelers.

Great location”

Large enough room for 2 adults and 1 child, with a pull down bed. Great location - within easy walking distance of Clarke Quay and Boat Quay and transport and a relatively short walk to Chinatown or the Marina. Booked room only, but there are plenty of places to grab breakfast nearby. Very happy with the accommodation. Recommend!

Great staff at Jayleen”

Hotel right across from mall & MRT station. Walking distance to China town & right by the River walk & Clarke Quay. Very nice area, easy to get around. The staff was so accommodating. The room was a bit small & dated but was very clean.

Great budget hotel”

I was impressed by the breakfast. Great variety of choices. Rooms very clean and they even provide a hair dryer, toothbrush and free coffee/tea in the room. Very kind staff. Location couldn't be better with a lot of restaurants and bars in the heart of Clarke Quay.

Brilliant little stay!”

I love it! Despite the size of the room (small!!) but i find it very comfortable and enjoyable stay here. Definitely value for money for me. Used to stay at Fragrance hotel (several times), but it's getting expensive. To top it off, I love how Jayleen have water in their room in a jug rather than the usual water bottle, so much more personalize and homey in my opinion.

Good Location and Value for Money”

The location is great, near Clarke Quay MRT station, convinience store and shoping mall, so you can easily explore the city by train or looking for meals nearby. I think the room is small even for Asian standard. but they design the room and cupboard very compact so you can keep your luggage without any problem and provide all basic amnities.

Convenience, this hotel located right across Clarke Quay station. The room is small and comfortable, all the electric plugs are universal, you don't need to bring or use your adapter. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Very good accommodation”

The small room included everything I needed. Nice breakfast in the neighboring hotel with several options. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only a short walk away from the buzz of Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Chinatown.

The location is exactly across the clark quay MRT station. Very good location, near from everywhere and lots of restaurant around. The bruce lee who work at the reception, he is so amazing. He is so friendly and helpful. I would definetly will recommend this hotel

The perfect Hotel for a Singapore Tourist Trip”

This hotel is perfectly located: MRT station and public transportation are less than 2 minutes walking. River tours, restaurants, malls, bars, stores are all around. The area is beautiful and very easy to hang around no matter what you are looking for. The best of the hotel is its friendly and helpful staff: they will help you out all the time and will let you feel as family. The buffet breakfast included was really good, fresh and carefully organized. The facilities are maintained clean and the attendants are very nice. The rooms are designed to rest and they have all that you need to do it in a comfortable way. The price is pretty fair and I would say: a smart traveler will definitely stay again.

Very conveniently located near Clarke Quay Central, MRT, river, Chinatown. Very good breakfast buffet, but you have to walk to sister hotel one block away and it doesn't begin until 730am. Room was very small, but comfortable. Little ants will arrive in seconds anywhere food, crops, or crumbs are left.

Clean, Breakfast, Towel, Wifi”

Bed sheet have the yellow trace. Breakfast is not variety & have small insects in bread tray. Lack of hair towel. Wifi can't use 2 days. Overall is very good location, just come down from Clarke Quay Station & see 25 New Bridge Rd. (Main rd.) Staffs are friendly.

Decent place centrally located and easy access to everything like transport, food, shopping and Entertainment. Would recommend to anyone who would need to decide on a place in Clarke Quay to spend the night . ( people that would literally spend less time in the hotel) nothing wrong with the hotel but no such facilities to accommodate different types of travellers.
