Very good place to stay within budget”

It's a good place to stay. It is just opposite to kodaikanal bus stand and thus it is little noisy. But it is okay bcoz we roam around during day time and come back only at nights.

Adequate room, noisy property, opposite bus stand in high priced town Kodaikanal ”

Directly across from bus stand and above shops and dhabas. Noisy, busy area, also lots of noise within the building. Actual room good size and fairly good condition. Booked in advance but check-in at 3 pm took half hour while they cleaned the room, even with 10 am check-out. No wifi. General hotel atmosphere seems like small town 50 years back. Price seems high but must consider that Kodaikanal is overpriced and many hotels have been forced to shut down by the authorities.

Budget Hotel, Great Location”

If you are going with Family, looking for Ok rooms(Not too highfi, not too bad) and on reasonable price you can opt for this Hotel. We went there late Nov Early Dec. Bang opposite to the Bus Stand. View wise there is nothing literally but it's near Market and bus Stand which we required. Below there are few tea shops and stationary shops so breakfast and small hunger gets sorted. The bus stand got few car hire facilities from where we booked our tour cars as well as Sight Tour cars. The rooms are decent, toilets are big and Geyser was working 24x7. They have cold & hot drinking water dispensers on every floor. No lift. We booked 3 rooms through some discounts on 1200+ price, which were given on the 2nd Floor. 2 on the roadside, 1 on the back side. All the rooms were more or less equal. Writing or working Table with chair and cupboards are there. TV only play local channels. Beds are comfortable. Overall it's an average Hotel. Cons: Strict Checkin Time, Bathroom is bit dirty and insect

There is no room service in the hotel. You have to eat outside. Other than this there was no problem.

The residence was very good for the budget. Best choice for couple and families. Pros: Neatness, Staffs, facilities, very close to bustand, shops and all. Cons: Geycer is not operated in evening and nights, views from rooms are not much impressive. But that's not a major cons

no hot water the first night. the second day the staff offered another room, but the hot water is at best sporadic and no more than lukewarm. the staff, while limited in English capacities, seem willing to help.
