The hotel location is so convenient, as it locates right at the JR station, and the lower levels are Aeon City. When we go to Japan, we would always go to the supermarket especially for good value sashimi, sushi and fruits (try visit during late afternoon when they start to re-price for event lower value but fresh sashimi/sushi). As the hotel is right above Aeon City, it is also easily located when we walk around the neighbourhood. It is in walking distance to pharmacy and some boutiques. Also, opposite to the hotel is the bus terminal, which we took bus to the Asahikawa Zoo (it was worth the visit!). And we also took bus to the onset resort about 45mins drive away for another night. About the room, it was clean and with sufficient space for our stay. The room amenities also provided us with all we needed~ Staff were friendly and could communicate well in English too. Overall, if we visit Asahikawa again, we will definitely stay here again.

Location was superb”
Location of hotel is right at the doorstep of JR Asahikawa Station and right above AEON mall. Room was comfortable for two people though it might be a little squeezy for 2 adults + 1 kid as stated in their listing. We loved that they had a stable heater that responds well with temperature adjustments while showering. My mum was extremely pleased that they had coin washing machines and dryers for us to wash our clothes during the trip though there might be queues for them. There's also a lounge that has shelves of comic books and magazines for hotel customers to relax and offers Internet services with a printer. A coffee machine is also available in the lounge. There's also an onsen though we didn't utilise it during our stay. It would be nice if they offer some global TV channels instead of only a few local channels.

Superb Hotel!”
New, modern, exceptionally clean and right next door to the JR station. Without a doubt the best of many hotels we've stayed at in Japan. Extremely good value also with excellent breakfast buffet that offered many choices. Walkable to everything in the city and right behind hotel is a groomed x-country 3K trail made even better by renting equipment at Activity Center in JR station for 500 Yen! Aeon shopping mall below the hotel providing anything anyone would need. Look no further than this hotel in Asahikawa!

Modern Hotel”
The location is very perfect, above AEON shopping center and next to JR station. Breakfast is good, room is very clean. Hotel parking is convenience too as it is shelter (very important during winter). The staff is very good, we have lost our parking ticket and room key and staff was gracefully replaced a new cards for us without any penalty. Small gift given to children (slipper, toothbrush + toothpaste and face towel). We will stay this hotel again.

Hotel was right beside the JR station. Facilities were excellent and very modern - comfortable lounge area (neatly stocked with books/comics & a free coffee/hot water dispenser with an assortment of tea bags to choose from) and very well-maintained onsen. Room was immaculately suited to our needs - compact and extremely cosy. Reception staff were very friendly as well. All in all, an excellent stay.

Hotel is quite new and extremely clean. Well equipped and location cannot get more convenient than this. It's a modern hotel but it also feels super cozy with really comfortable beds. Rooms are on the smaller side but decent considering location. They offer a huge selection of pillows for you to choose the right one for you. Lounge is also really nice. This is probably the nicest hotel I've visited in Japan at this price point.

Lovely hotel with great service. The rooms are very clean and provide very good quality accommodation. Whilst the rooms are on the small side and making it difficult for a dual occupancy to go to the bathroom, it is adequate for an overnight stay. I would reconsider room size for extended periods. I highly recommend this hotel for overnight stays.

Convenient Place”
There are many restaurants nearby and it is just next to AEON mall, which you can get almost anything that you need. The room has a window that allows guest to enjoy the view of Asahikawa city. Looking out to river and bridge during the day and lit city skyline at night. The free public bath is clean. The lounge is cosy. Staff are friendly.

Hotel is located at JR Asahikawa station, within Aeon Mall. Very convenient and central. Hotel also offers overnight car parking for a cheap fee (800 yen iirc). Very clean hotel, good for a short stopover before going to other towns like Furano and Biei. Nice public bath, a little small but very clean. Room size is also excellent.

My favorite hotel in Hokkaido Area. Located closed to JR Asahikawa Station which is very easy to go travel and downstair is Aeon Shopping mall which is comfortable to find foods or souvenirs. The room was very nice and clean. Staffs are so warm welcome. Public bath was quite small but still wonderful.

I was amazed by the hotel facilities.... Public bath pool, thumb up! And the public lounge cum mini library which you can enjoy japan comic books, coffee and tea. Room is smaller size but we were okay with that. Toilet/bath room is very clean and spacious. Very happy to stay in this hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent location!”
This is my second stay in JR Inn Asahikawa. I booked two double rooms. It was the perfect size for one person, but the bed was a little too small for two. So book a larger room with a larger bed when travelling in pairs. The rooms were clean and well equipped - couldn’t ask for more. I booked the buffet breakfast for one day, and the spread was great! The hotel has gender-segregated baths, and a lounge where guests may enjoy free coffee and tea. The hotel is right next to JR Asahikawa, and is connected to Aeon Mall where there is a huge supermarket (I don’t recall seeing a supermarket as huge as this in Hokkaido), a department store, and numerous food options ranging from the humble food court at Level 1 to restaurants at Level 4. The bus station is outside JR Asahikawa, making it convenient to hop onto the bus to get to Asahikawa Zoo. Totally enjoyed my stay in January 2020!

Wonderful inn”
Everytime I am in Asahikawa, I make sure to stay at JR Inn Asahikawa. Next to the JR station, connecting mall and great carpark makes the hotel very attractive. Needless to say, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. My go-to hotel in Asahikawa.

The location is unbeatable! The room is well designed, comfy and super clean. The public bath and lounge are both wonderful. They also have washing machine but we didn’t use it. Overall JR Inn is no doubt a great choice for all types of travelers.

Great stop to explore the city”
We made a last minute booking to stay at JR Asahikawa to visit Asahiyama Zoo the next day. It is indeed a good decision. My kids love the Kids Ammenites provided to them. Cute teddy bear bath sponge, kids room slipper & teddy bear toothbrush. I would highly praise Makino for her effort in ensuring my stay is smooth. Always smiling and excellent spoken English. The design of the hotel is sleek, compact but functional. Love everything about the hotel. Highly recommended.

Best short stay”
Totally loved our short stopover at this hotel and were sad that we didnt stay longer. It is part of the station complex and mall so everything is at your fingertips and you dont have to wheel your bags through the snow at all when you arrive. The room had a big window that looked out across the square and you could watch the trains coming in as well. We didnt use the public onsen and it looked like it was a busy part of the hotel. The breakfast was also good and had a similar view. We really want to return someday.

Location is very good as it is just next to JR. It is above the Aeon so can get food from the food court and supermarket. Hotel is nice especially the lounge area where u can have coffee and relax. Room is off good size and clean. I would stay here again.

Hotel is located next to the station. From its lobby it allows direct access to the restaurant floor of AEON shopping mall. Room was not big but very clean and new. Hotel staff was very nice . A few laundry machines are equipped on the lobby floor so it helped a lot!

The hotel is right beside the station and has a shopping mall below it. First time to stay in Asahikawa and I am happy to have stayed in this hotel. Staff were great and there is a lounge area with free coffee and tea. Room is decent size with a good view. Breakfast is served at a buffet restaurant inside the mall, and the food is great as well. Would recommend.
