When I was planning my trip to Maldives I met a lot of travel agents, each and everyone suggested me to stay at watervillas or beach bungalow on private islands. But, I was not into luxury at all, I wanted to see real Maldives and visit public island. I wanted to meet and stay with local Maldivian people and experience the real Maldives. Then, I started doing my own research and I came across this great hotel on so so so beautiful island Maafushi. My experience was so amazing at the hotel and staff here was so helpful and supportive. They took care of my split stay, my transfer to a resort. Everything was so perfect at this greatest hotel. Our room view was so mesmerizing, I still remember that turquoise view I woke up with for 5 days. If you want to experience real Maldives, I highly recommend visiting Maafushi island and for stay you should not think about any other hotel but Kaani Grand hotel. You won’t regret your decision just like me and you will leave the island with life long memory and some Maldivian friends. Yes, local people here are so friendly, kind and helpful. My family is very happy staying in Kaani Hotel. The room in very big and clean and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Plus the staff in the hotel is very friendly and nice specialy our tour guides from the hotel who gave us very nice tour packages. I just forgot their names and they are super nice and kind to my small child they let them try to drive the boat while we are in the island tour. Over all i highly reccomend this Hotel. Thank you for such a memorable experience in Maldives. We hope to come back again in Male and ofcourse we will definitely stay in your hotel.

The Best Vacation Stay Ever”
We spent 5 days 4 nights at Kaani GrandSea View and loved every minute of it. The view from the balcony was heavenly, waking up every day to the turquoise blue ocean sounds. The rooms were beautiful, the staff excellent. The hotel has amazing spa facilities and all of us friends used each of their offered services. Their breakfast buffet was great and included in the cost of the stay. It had fresh fruits and hot variety to cater to the picky eater as some of us were. The front desk staff Jessica really made our stay wonderful. Their tours and trips for snorkeling are also highly recommended. Overall it was a 10/10 superb stay with us. We even use Kaani speedboat transfer to and from the airport it was very convenient and economical way to sort out transport. Do also check out their bike rental facility to enjoy the Island overall. Also they amazing new year fireworks, concert and a grand celebration that we really really enjoyed. I would always come back to stay here again

A good mix of budget and luxury ”
Kani Grand Seaview is located right in front of Bikini Beach and the the view from sea side rooms is breathtaking. Hotel Staff is helpful and they try do their best in assisting you with every situation. They also have one of the best excursion crew who will do everything possible to make your trip memorable. Special mention to Jessica and Shakti as they were very helpful. Only feedback I have is when you take groups for excursions, try to understand how many are new/non-swimmers and increase the number of crew members accordingly as they need crew's help in sea to roam around and click pictures. I went to Whale Shark trip and since there were alot of non-swimmers we got very limited opportunities to see the Shark and got very few pictures. If you can do something about it when I visit next time that would be highly appreciated. Rest everything is very good 😊

Our stay was really great, room was as per description while booking. The room was clean and a great view. The hotel is located approx. 35 min from Male international airport by speed boat. All the transfers from and to the airport was done by hotel with additional fee $20 per person per side. Rt-pcr test was also arranged by the hotel with additional fee $50 per person. Overall it was great experience, staff were friendly, nice rooms , buffet was good, lot of water activities available. Go for it.

Awesome view and polite staff in Kaani Sea Grand”
We have stayed for 6 days in Kaani Sea Grand room which has beach view from balcony. Hotel staff is so friendly and they will show us all the water sports packages where you can organize and plan every day of your stay in Mafushi. Our representative is Tiger, who is very friendly and plans things like anything. He is a good friend for me now :) . Don’t expect food to be good in hotel, because they plan food dishes for all types of people. We are Indians and had a safe variety of fried rice with some curry every day :). Over all rating for hotel: 8/10. Reduced 2 star for food. When you book hotel, ask for beach view and you will love it. Regards, Urmila & Ram

Let me break it into points for easier review: PROS: *Prime location with private beach and all beach facilities *Friendly for all types of travelers *Perfect clean rooms with regular housekeeping *Hassle free payments with COVID testing support on time *Awesome food spread for buffet *Good view from the balcony *Friendly staff and special thanks to Mr.Tiger for all processing. Great hospitality *Infinity pool *Water activities packages at hotel for good rates *Safe for all travelers, locker provided. Safe environment in the island *Easy airport transfers *Room decoration on request *Prime location *Good pool of restaurants around Long list to add on CONS: *Water activities packages can have more detailed agenda to be more prepared. Hourly break up, things to bring, detailed training, boat with higher seating capacity *Frequent events for evening (live music, DJ, cultural acts), we dropped in during Christmas eve so there were consecutive events for 3 days but on a regular week the place may sound calm at night. *Better dental kit & bathroom kit can be provided or upon request. Seems to be very compact for usage but not a really big con. The pros outweigh the cons largely. Overall it was a very fabulous experience. Definitely would like to recommend and plan to visit again.

The hotel make me feeling holiday mood,we just sit on balcony view to beach will also feel so relaxing..room will clean everyday and that hotel food is suitable for me,we have really enjoy this trip..But on last,I need to apologize with staff hotel, because we wrongly see the checkout time,so we was rude to the staff when he come for inform many time for check out,I feel so sorry to him..On this event they let me know the hotel have good services and high EQ staff..Will recommend Friend visiting this hotel on maafushi.

Great location”
Maafushi Island is near to the airport (about 35 min by speedboat.. You can use speedboat organized by hotel or I-Com company). Really great location of hotel - hotel si on the Bikini beach.. Rooms have so beautiful see view. Room was nice and clean. You can use beach towel etc. Food was a little bit poor, thinner menu.. But it is not the most important for us.

I stay at kaani grandseaview in 3 night. Never had a bad experience during my stay. Should take the excursion from this hotel as they give the special price for the guest who stay at their hotel. Love the snorkeling trip even I didn't know how to swim they will guide you and make you feel safe and comfortable. This hotel gonna be my first choice if I came visit here again.

Kaani grand is perfect mixture of private and local island at maafushi. Rooms have splendid view. Bikini beach is their personal beach, so you have all the liberty to dress up as per your wish. All water sport and other activities are being provided by them. If you want to check out other places , you can just take a walk around kaani and will find awesome places. We went for new year and party was so much fun Pro: View Facilities Water sports Staff Candle light dinner Our guide was Ahmed hosur. I would like to thank him for helping us out at each step. Food is okaish.

Third trip to Maafushi, second stay at Kaani Grand Seaview. They had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The location is great, right in front of the bikini beach. The view is great too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. A little pricier than Kaani Beach but more comfortable.

Excellent location, awesome value for money room with great facilities”
Except a bit shoddy behavior of its staff at reception and on welcome at arrival, this place is the best to stay in Maafushi. The room was just so good. I especially liked two things - a USB cable (both Android and iOS) only charging point and the way shampoo and shower gel was put in bathroom. Room had wooden flooring and was so clean. It has a bikini beach facing balcony and the bikini beach is just below this hotel. They have nice excursion options as well. Even the restaurant attached to the hotel had nice variety of food options and the waiters there, especially Manik, had very good attitude and behavior. The price at which I got this was also so good. The WiFi connection was nice too with good coverage area.

We were a honeymoon couple. We requested Kaani Grand Seaview for complimentary decor and room with best view. Not only they gave us room on top floor but all amenities as mentioned. Our host Michael has been really helpful and guided us from excursion activities to exploring local island. Would love to come again to Maafushi and Kaani Grand Sea View. We had a wonderful stay there, enjoyed a lot. My booking was done through Agoda and Kaani Grand made the stay memorable. Flawless, the entire trip was well organised from the hotel management.
