Except that there is a quite long domestic travel time needed (domestic flight 1hr plus 20 mins speedboat travel time from Male to the resort), our stay at Maldives this time is one of the best moment in my life so far! Special thanks to the hotel staff Inaash for the great service from start to end of our journey. Please ignore other bad comments from other travelers, at least from now, the hotel service is up to 5.5 stars! Every staffs in the resort are kind, helpful and showing smiles even before you give any tips, and it is sure the hotel provide luggage delivery to your room after you check-in, and it is so even at this Feb, full booking high season! As I am a travel expert, I do know and understand the island is quite big with beautiful beach, so I would expect 10-20 mins romantic walk if the bike is being hired. Our included meals at Zest and Flavour is fabulous and the (paid) Valentine Dinning at the famous Sea Dragon is even better! Even the take away food at Deli is also above the average. It is true that at the Aqua room types the water is at 1.2 meters high since it is rocky, it is not suitable for barefoot walking, but at Aquaholic they offer free ride to snorkeling platforms or paid speedboat to best spot for snorkeling. There are many spots in the beach and resort where you can have your perfect photos in your life with just your phone camera. Everything is clean, new and modern, especially at the room, the hard working staff will do room service in the morning, and if not they will also try in the afternoon, the room is bright, brand new and fashion just like the photos in commercials.

Kandima is so Kool! Everything is just perfect and I enjoy my honeymoon trip with my hubby in Kandima so much! The atmosphere there is so great that everything is colourful with relaxing music everywhere. Staff there are extremely nice that they greet us everyday with cheerful smile:) there are many restaurants, ranging from western, Chinese, buffet...etc. that you will never get bored of them. I enjoy chilling with my hubby during morning and evening in Breeze and Beach club so much. Food are excellent and it is so relaxing to have the snacks by the poolside, appreciating the beautiful ocean. There are also a wide range of activities that we love sunset fishing the most! We caught many large fish and we have them for lunch and dinner on the other day. They taste so good!(rip for the fish in our tummies). We stayed in sky studio and water villa during the week. Both rooms are great. Nothing to blame except there are some mosquitos at night. Yet, the rooms are so clean and beautifully decorated and spacious that we feel totally comfortable. Overall speaking, I love Kandima so much! I am literally missing it now:( I am tearful when leaving and saw the staff saying goodbye to me haha. I will definitely come back and probably bring my kids too in the future haha! Thanks for the lovely memories Kandima !;)

Perfect getaway ”
Stayed 4 nights at the aqua villa w jacuzzi; parents stayed 2 nights at aqua villa w jacuzzi and 2 nights in the honeymoon pool villa. Staffs are friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Manager, Mr Amit who was extremely thoughtful and constantly checked in to ensure that everything was alright. Food at both Zest and Flavour was delicious - great variety. Kandima staffs were with us from the moment we arrived in Male till we reached the resort via domestic transfer and a short speedboat ride, making it a very seamless and fuss-free experience. Rooms were stylish and clean - exactly like photos. Saw large school of dolphins right beside our speedboat during dolphin quest. Snorkelling was good although unfortunately, we did not manage to spot turtles at the house reef. Liam from aquaholics was extremely thoughtful and took care of my mum during the whole snorkelling trip as she had no prior snorkelling experience. Sandbank was stunning. A wonderful experience!

It’s our kind of place! Kool!”
Our 4 days stayed were beyond excellent! We stayed at aqua villa, big room with excellent sea view, sunrise view, seaplane view. The room is very clean and quite well equipped too (except toothbrush & toothpaste, room slipper not provided but u can buy from shop at kandima) Throughout our stay we saw baby shark, manta (both small and very big one), squid, parrot fish, puffer fish and other fishes which we can’t name all of them near our aqua villa. Baby shark is pretty easy to spot near the beach every morning-noon. Breakfast & dinner are good. We did not opt for lunch. More activities on friday - Sunday. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Complimentary boat to snorkel 6 times a day. Para sailing was the highlight of our trip! The view was breathtaking however price was quite expensive. Overall it was a great & luxury stay at kandima! No complaint from us :)

BEST VACATION EVER (Honeymoon)”
We went to Kandima for our honeymoon. We went mid Feb for 9 nights and 10 days. From the moment we landed in Male, we were greeted by their Kool staff right outside the gate. We were then taken on a domestic flight to an island and then on a boat to Kandima. Checking in was great, the staff had everything ready for us. Paro checked us in. He was very accommodating. Great guy. The buggy (their bus) took us to our room where our luggage had already reached. The staff at the resort is beyond amazing, the chef, specially Laap Singh and head chef Janaka took our special care. Laap Singh is truly an exceptional human being, do say hi to him if you go and tell him Anas said Salam from Pakistan. All in all, the facilities, the staff, the rooms, the service, the food, everything is beyond amazing at Kandima. We had a great time and we cannot wait to be back. If you are planning your honeymoon, I would recommend the water villas, the water around there is smooth and you can always jump in for snorkeling. One downside, however, the reef around the resort isn't that great. A lot of it is dead, but then, global warming and other factors have played into it. We did have a lot of fun in snorkeling and scuba.

My whole experience in Kandima and Maldives has been perfect. Kandima is absolutely stunning with all kinds of facilities to suit my needs. Kandiland with water park for my kid is great. The snorkeling trip provided was also fantastic. My Aqua Villa is really gorgeous. The place is shiny clean, well maintained and the 360 panoramic view is amazing. I spend so much time in my jacuzzi just to enjoy the sea view and cool breeze. Food choice for breakfast and dinner is also very good with lots of varieties. The only hiccup was my seaplane schedule where it was only sent to me the very last minute. But i really enjoyed the entire experience.

We just returned from Kandima Maldives. WOW what a beautiful place!!. We’re a family of 5 and were accommodated in two overwater villas with private pools. Everything about this place is just amazing. The villa was clean and beautifully decorated. The food was great with so many options to choose from. The beach is just stunning with aqua waters and the whitest sand. Never seen anything so pretty. Abdullah the resort manger, Toby, Adil and the chef made our stay memorable and just perfect !. We will always remember Kandima...... one of our BEST holidays.

Kandima is like Heaven on Earth - Worth every penny”
Kandima is an extraordinary resort for both couples and families. Its a bigger resort, though all the villas were occupied you don’t see that much crowded. As people will be dispersed all over the island. We went for our Honeymoon vacation and enjoyed a lot, worth every penny of your money. We stayed in Sunrise Beach Pool villa with Jacuzzi which is really awesome as you will have private beach and also view from room through pool and beach is picture perfect. You need to pay in USD if you buy something, but prices will be higher on the resort. Buffet was good as we have some varieties of Indian dishes. Thanks to the chef Labh singh who arranged Dosa specially for us in the morning buffet and Mahesh the Srilankan chef prepared awesome Chicken fried rice. Staff were very friendly and particularly Fawzar the Srilankan guy. We used to have a good conversation with him daily and he used to wish us and help us if we need anything. Special thanks to Amit for preparing Masala Tea for us.

It was my perfect honeymoon!”
I don't know where to begin because there's just so many good things I wanna say about this resort. From the moment we arrived, greeted by their "Kool" staff to our daily engagements with them during our stay - they are super friendly, professional and very attentive to our needs. They may not be a luxury 5* resort but the casual and welcoming atmosphere made our stay a true delight! There are two things to highlight about Kandima - their Sea Dragon Restaurant and 'Snap' (their in-house photo studio). First of all, my husband and I love seafood and we are both from Hong Kong, so finding a Chinese restaurant in Kandima was a plus for us. Special thanks to Chief James making it extra special for us with his delicious cooking (OMG love their Sichuan Spicy and Sour soup!! Soooo good!) and the birthday cake was amazing! Another special thanks for Valerie and her Snap team with the amazing photos! We just loved it so much!!

An immaculate slice of paradise but I felt could have focussed on being more eco-friendly.”
The resort was beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and kind but not intrusive. We really enjoyed being able to cycle around, giving us freedom and enabling us to work off the enormous amounts of delicious food we ate at the buffet! It was lovely to watch the neighbourhood stingray and baby reef tip shark that swam around the aqua villas. My only concerns were the amount of plastic water bottles and toiletries in the room, potential food waste, lack of reef-safe suntan lotions in the shops etc...I felt there could have been greater effort to be eco-friendly. The building of the resort itself coupled with the sad reality of global warming has resulted in a lot of dead coral. I wish I had had time to do the ‘adopting coral’ activity at the sports centre as that is a meaningful way to give back a little bit. But overall a fabulous place to unwind, without our kids, for our 20th anniversary and appreciate the beauty of nature.

kool place ”
it's my kind of place , the staff here is very helpful and friendly . The room is clean , the beach is white and sky is very blue , the water is also blue like the sky . Sun setting is amazing . I take my 3 year old boy , they have a kandiland where you can let your kid play there and the adults can do what you like . It's suitable for young family with kids . but the only ploblem is the coral that almost dead . and sometimes you can see diposed bottle on the corner of the beach . Environment protection is also very important for them and us .

Most Amazing Resort in Maldives”
The resort is a bit far from the Maldives airport and we had to take a sea plane to reach early. It was totally worth staying in the resort for 4 nights and 5 days. We stayed two nights in the sky studio and 2 nights in the Water Villa with Jacuzzi. Great Hospitality, great food, super clean accommodation and clean bathrooms, very well maintained property, Amazing ambience, excellent facilities and pristine waters all around. I would rate 5 on 5 for this resort.

I had booked for honeymoon for 5 Nights and all i can say is #MyKindOfPlace #Staff #1 Buddies are very supportive and nice, they took care of all domestic checkins and luggages, throughout tru and fro Journey #2Hotel staff are very nice and well mannered and always helpful #Food #1 Food quality was great, have ranges of continental food, specialy breafast is superb #Room #1 I have booked aqua villa, room was clean well maintained, bathroom was very spacious #2The outer area was breathtaking , you can see the endless see and can enjoy beautiful sunset 3The island is very big white sand and can walk around at evening and morning, also bike is the option #There are two swimming pool, the one near to zest i found bit small , but there was one big Swimming pool i did not use Over all i would say its wonderful experience and i would love to visit again. #MyKindOfPlace

Truly a heaven on the earth. Amazing location surrounded by warm and clean sea water, Spreaded on a span of 3 KMS. We have delighted by their hospitality and services, staff if generous and always ready to help. Inspite of being pure vegetarian, we had varieties of food to chose from. 5 nights are must to enjoy the property in thorough manner. Special thanks to Amit, Labhsingh and Suresh for promt support. We loved it ❤️.

This was really the best choice - the entire experience was one that I will never forget. The place is really beautiful and the stuff is really trying his best to make this possible. Always at our dispose and always trying to help us feel comfortable. We would like to come back at some point. We were here in our honeymoon and a lot of surprises were provided by Kandima - we are truly grateful for all that we received.
