Location wise is good with long beaches not crowded good for swimming and snorkeling.
The sambal nasi lemak for breakfast was superb.
The resort is located at very nice and great location, the price is cheap and value for money.

I don't know why everyone is giving bad reviews to Kapas Island Resort, for us it's just nice. Yes, the resort seemed run down and the facilities are nothing near to perfect. In fact, we have to wait for a while for the airconds in our rooms (we booked two rooms for 4 adults) to be rectified because of electrical failure and the temporary electricity cut was annoying, but nothing of these glitches compares to spending relaxing time at the island with your loved ones. It's not the place of stay that matters during the vacation, it's the beautiful memory created that makes us remember each trip forever. The KIR staff are super helpful and friendly. Just appreciate them, offer them smiles and talk to them nicely, they will help you out. It's not easy working in an island where the supplies are limited and have to clean rooms that are always sandy everyday hahaha. This vacation was a gift to my mum for her birthday. She said that this was that the best island trip she's even been to :D

Low Maintenance Chalet”
I like this resort chalet and the facilities. The Location is good and the area are big the staff are very nice. But this chalet are poor or Low Maintenance and fell not comfort. This Chalet should be more better. But i being told by the staff that this resort property is belong to Government. And the company cannot do more. Their contract is to run the property. What a sad. I think Government should make the property look better or equal to the Private chalet that own by Foreigner. ......"Dear Government please improve and make Kapas Island Resort one of the best resort in Kapas Island"....

Budget stay and Location is perfect”
Rooms are okayish at this price. But they can improve toilet as couple of things were not in working condition in the bathrooms. We spent only 1 night so doesn't matter. Overall it was good stay as we spent most of the time outside at beach and KBC.

The resort is located at very nice and great location, the price is cheap and value for money. Just the cleanliness of the toilet and the facility in the room should be improved ,especially toilet. The rest ,i very recommend this resort. (The staff is beautiful , haha)

Generally, the resort is quite old need a lot of refurbishment. Facilities need upgrading, e.g. Toilet, room and even the surrounding. Location wise is good with long beaches not crowded good for swimming and snorkeling. Services good and friendly host.

Nice stay but staff not really friendly”
The room was nice, however we appreciate if the resort can inform that there is no electricity from 4pm to 7pm, then from 8am to 12noon as they use generator for electrical supply. the service still can be improved. Staff shud be more friendly. However the foods was too expensive and not that tasty as compared our stay in Pulau Perhentian.

Located close to the jetty and on a quiet part of the beach, it is just OK. Bathrooms are badly in need of a renovation but my room was clean, air-conditioned. Breakfast is from 7.30am when coffee and tea are available but with no way of keeping it hot, I had cold coffee every morning - jet-lagged and just couldn't get my head off the pillow. Dinner menu seemed extensive yet all very similar dishes but enjoyed my food - rice with lobster (yabbie??) plus v hot chilli.
