Excellent quaint choice for authentic Japanese experience ”
The staff service was splendid and meticulous, with the staff wiping the wheels of luggages and cleaning footwear. The outdoor onsen was our favourite. The room size is just nice for a couple. We opted for the kaiseki dinner and they were really nice to serve it a day earlier and in the comfort of our room. The free shuttle service to and fro JR noboribetsu was great too. Overall, highly recommended for an authentic Japanese ryokan experience and will definitely come back to this humble abode when we visit noboribetsu again!

Exceptional”
A dedicated heritage villa with approx. 20 rooms. Shoes off at the entrance and are kept in a little open storage room. Staff will help to grab your shoes when you go out. Luggages are wiped before taking to rooms. (Winter at least). Very quiet place. Breakfast is superb. Excellent service. I love to be able to wander around in the hotel with just yukada and socks as everywhere is clean.

Located walking distance away from the main shopping and attractions area, this ryokan provided a quiet and pleasant experience. Despite its dated interior, all furnishings were kept in clean and good state, and definitely added to the traditional experience we were after. The food and onsen experience was also fantastic!

Staff was very helpful and the manager Ayaka Yamaguchi greeted us so professionally that makes my gf so impressed. The great point is that they will pick you up from the train station and give you a lift to the train station as well. The kaiseki crab dinner was also excellent. We also like to stay and watch the garden from the lobby with free hot tea and coffee. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with great service provided, staff is very friendly. The Kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast is great and delicious. The surrounded environment is great. The hotel is a little bit of distance from the Hell Valley but they did provided shuttle service on request. Great value for money

Great price nice location”
Cozy hotel with great spa, the price is great. A bit far from the spa town (around 10 minutes walk), but the hotel provides free shuttle bus going around the area so this is not a problem. I went to Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe first and there is baggage drop service and free shuttle bus to the hotel.

Very nice hôtel. Staff very friendly. Free transfer from the JR station. Easy contact before my trip. Very nice onsen. Japanystyle room. Dinner and breakfast were great. Local food with English explanations. Everything was very good. I appreciated a lot this place.

Cozy room with all amenities provided”
Small cozy hotel. Room was big enough and we arranged for kaiseki dinner in our room, tatami bed was laid out for us afterwards. The dinner was good, but have tasted better elsewhere. Breakfast was a semi-buffet style. Loved the onsen though may be abit small. It provided all the necessities and more such as facial wash, mask etc. No shower in the room, you have to go down to the onsen to ahower.

Fantastic Staff”
The staff here is great. They switched my room so it would be quieter, and I enjoyed the peaceful river view with deer walking by. Truly gorgeous room. Location was a little farther from the main village, but a 2 minute bus or 10 minute walk. Very pretty onsen as well.

Small ryokan 1 bus staton from downtown.”
The big advantage is this is a small ryokan so there are not crowned with people. Dinner and breakfast is great. At the time i stay the air condition were down bur staff offee 10% off instead so it is trade-off. Staff at the front are well communicate with English.

Lovely Ryokan”
This was a much needed rest stop coming straight from the airport. There were other hotels available along the main street but this Ryokan made us feel like home. The place was very clean and the meals were fantastic. It might be a little pricy but worth the one night stay.

Good ryokan experience”
The Ryokan canbe spotted along the main road however there wasn't any direction on where to park. It would good for to provide a map to guest before the arrival. Kudos to the staff who waited outside in the cold for guests. It was a cosy ryokan with four floors. We stayed in a traditional room with bath, but use the public bath most of the time. The staff laid the futon while we had our dinner in the dinning room. After which the room looked messy and there weren't any walking space. The outdoor onsen was nice but a little small that can probably fit 4 people. The dinner and breakfast were good and exquisitely prepared. As it was my first ryokan experience, I am not comparing with others.
