Lovely stay ”

Mountain view. Friendly staff. On the route for the green and red tourist bus. Also had a transfer to the train station for free on our last day. Would stay here again! Oh and hot baths :)

Location 8/10 - Can go by taxi from Kawaguchiko station 5 minutes with fare ¥730 (less than 1.8km). - Bus from the station to hotel can be requested only after 15:00 (check-in time). - Can take RED retro bus from the station. Walk 2 minutes from Bus Stop number 8 to the hotel. Room - Clean but not so new. If hotel can change color of FUTON to pure white (now not so white), it will feel a lot better. - Room space is ok. Air condition and heater work well. Small toilet and shower in room are convenient for family trip (even they are very small ^_^). Staff will make a bed by Futon for you, no worry. Foods - Great volume with good taste ! - We got Shabu Shabu for the first night and Sukiyaki for the second night. - Can request for kids food. Onsen - Clean but small. - Cannot see Fuji. Staff services - Very helpful ! - Have small bus service to the station. Others - Can borrow board game from lobby to your room. Good for kids. - Will come here again for next trip !

Great hospitality and extremely helpful staff! ”

My stay at the hotel was much better than anticipated. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist on our arrival, and he was extremely helpful in ensuring that we were comfortable, recommending a great authentic Izakaya restaurant nearby, as well as in organizing shuttle services for us to the train station. He was also extremely kind , presenting us with beautiful postcards of Mt Fuji when we were disappointed for not being able to see the peak due to cloudy weather on the day of our stay. The bathhouse was also lovely (outdoor bath was a great experience), and the breakfast that accompanied our stay was a feast! Truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay here again if we ever visit Kawaguchiko again.

Recommended”

Booked the twin style room for a night and arrived at Kawaguchiko station before check in time. However, the hotel is unable to pick us up from the station before 3pm hence we had to take the bus to the hotel to store our luggages. The bus stop is within walking distance to the hotel. But they did pick us up at night after the bus ended the service and send us to the station when we checked out the next day. The staffs are friendly, the room is nice and well equipped with all the range of toiletries (from make up remover to different type of shower gels). You can use the onsen in the hotel and yukata is also provided for you to wear. Overall, this hotel is recommended.

Rainy Day in Kawaguchiko”

A pleasant stay in the Kawaguchiko Park Hotel, although the weather was poor so we could not see Mount Fuji.

Exceptional”

Book the hotel with breakfast & dinner for two nights. The Japanese style room was big & comfortable. AA grade ! This is our first time experience Japanese breakfast & dinner. Both days spreads are so nice & delicious, we had a wonderful stay here.

Small but lovely hotel”

We were greeted at the train station. The place is walking distance to Lake Kawaguchi. Love the room. The staff don't speak english but they really tried which is really charming. Since there's no halal food provided by the hotel we gave a long list of things that we cannot eat and the hotel provide us with a superb breakfast regardless of all the restriction. Arigato gozaimas !!!!... The onsen was clean and water was great. Overall a great experience.

Old Hotel”

The hotel is very old even the bedsheets are old. But its clean and they gave us a good view of Mt Fuji. Great experience on the Breakfast and Dinner though as they serve traditional Japanese meal. Overall a good experience but would prefer them to change the beddings and furniture.

Nice Onsen and good location ”

1. The out door onsen is amazing. 2. The room is quite cozy. 3. Location is good. Easily to see the Fuji mountain and close to the lake. Can watch the mountain behind the lake like a photograph. 4. The staff is terrific. When we check out, a small present was given to us. Recommend self driving guests stay here since public transportation is not that convenient.

Good hotel for a good price. ”

Only minor downside was location which was a little out of the way but nevertheless on the way to most popular locations along the red bus route. Surprise was the breakfast which was very nice.

Traditional Hotel”

The hotel is located near the lake Kawaguchi. It has a good scenery outside. I felt that this hotel is old but well kept. It's okay to stay for a night or two. They have a great breakfast and a free bus to and from the bus station.

Highly recommended”

The place is near Kawakuchiko bridge which is one of the perfect place to take photos of Fujisan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Convenient store is about 3-5 minutes walking. The best part is Spring(Onsen), the outside spring is beautiful and quiet. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast for beautiful day”

I booked this hotel suddenly but they kept brekky for us which was super tasty. And location is also really good. It’s located near from lake Kawaguchi so we could walk around there so easily. I would like to stay again.
