More than what you can expect”
The hostel totally blew my mind and exceeded far beyond what I could expect, and I was so grateful and lucky to manage having one night stay during the golden week holiday. The hostel is located strategically so it’s very easy and convenient to reach the hostel from Kawaguchiko Station (basically just diagonally opposite). The hostel is well maintained and the shared bed room is clean and tidy. Other than these, the basement lounge provides self-help coffee and conducive environment for traveller to mingle around. The bathroom is equipped with onsen where you can have a good view of the Mt. Fuji is weather is clear. The staffs are friendly and helpful, and their service is simply good. Upon checking in late on the night, the receptionist waited patiently and got everything prepared well before arrival, and upon checking out early in the morning, the receptionist also assisted kindly for the luggage storage.

Excellent location! ”
We loved our stay here. Location is perfect, just in front of Kawaguchiko station so its easy to travel around. Aside from that, our room is facing the station and we can see mt fuji from the window. Perfect view to start our day. The place is so clean and well maintained. Though bathroom is shared across, the area is so clean and well organized. Staffs are easy to talk and very courteous. Lastly, we loved the japanese style breakfast. It was so delicious. Will definitely recommend this place!

Perfect place to stay in Kawaguchiko! ”
My first stay here was in 2019 with my mother and sister. We had great experience then and hence when I travelled again to Kawaguchiko there was no second thoughts of reserving this place. Location is perfect (just in front of Kawaguchiko station) and one can enjoy the view of mt fuji from window of our room, from the dining area and the bath place at top floor. Also, this place is so clean and well maintained. The only change since our last visit is they put extra measures to manage visitors during covid.

Shared Facilities but Good Level of Privacy”
The location is excellent, right across from the Kawaguchiko Station, a hub for catching sightseeing buses (red, green and blue lines), and the Shibazakura Liner which takes you directly to the Fuji Shibazakura Festival venue. As convenient as the location is, the traffic noises at night was quite loud, and we could hear conversations of guests next door. But, if Mt Fuji decides to show up, you'll see her right outside your window (rooms facing station). Our twin shared room is small. After laying out our comfortable beds, there isn't a lot of room to move around comfortably - almost have to step over the other person. Maybe we weren't maximising the space with the way we laid out our beds? The facilities (e.g hair dryers station) are excellent and so clean. Although shared, there is a good level of privacy e.g separate private showers, not just inside the onsen. The helpful staff speak good English, and kept our luggage after we checked out. They even gave us a postcard each.

This inn was pretty cool! There's a great view of Mt Fuji from the bath area! Unli free coffee is offered at the common area. Check in and out was pretty smooth. Bed was comfortable. It's located across the train and bus station. Wi-Fi worked really well.

Best hostel ever! Free hot baths with Fuji view”
I would recommend this hostel to anyone! Check-in was easy, the location is extremely convenient and they even have Japanese style baths on the top floor, open all hours (separate for men/women) - I went twice and had them to myself. The dorm design is a bit odd, with individual beds and floor to ceiling curtains like a hospital ward - but comfy enough.

Very Convenient Location”
Kawaguchiko Station Inn is literally just across Kawaguchiko Station. Very convenient for us once we alighted from our bus. Mt. Fuji can be seen in some of the rooms and it is especially visible at the top floor, which is the bath/onsen area. Our room and the premises are relatively clean. However, they do not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. The location of the inn is also near establishments such as train/bus station, tourist information office, restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes and convenience stores.

I think this is a family own hostel. The owner is very friendly and speaks English very well. The Japanese breakfast was super delicious but you need to reserve. Super convenient location as it is in front of the Kawaguchiko station.

Great location”
The place was just accross the Kawaguchiko station, so that’s a huge huge plus. The room was clean and big enough for 2 persons. They also have a public onsen on the top floor. The public bathroom was clean. The only con is that you have to carry your own luggage, so if you have a huge one and have room on 3rd floor (like me), time to put those muscle 😝 Overall, definitely a great and comfortable stay

Great hostel”
Comfy single bed with curtains for hostel, which is so much better than capsules or bunk beds. The bath has views of mt fuji on a clear day too. Hostel does not provide toothbrush and shaver.
