The room given to us was horrible. Maintenance was pathetic. We found lizards and roaches in the room. The washroom was in a dilapidated condition. When we ringed up the property owner, he was very indifferent in his response. The experience was a huge let down

I was going to stay but I didn't after reading the tons of negative reviews on Google. True to the facts mentioned in the reviews, the staff do harass you. They called me 20+ times every hour until I finally blocked all their calls. (first 2 times I was genuinely busy)

A must visit for Solo/ Group travellers ”
This place is located at the north cliff that has easy access to the beach. Kerala Bamboo House has an amazing vibe, where you can chill and rediscover yourself. If you are travelling solo or with a group of friends, this is a good place to reside at. It is beautiful and has rooms that fit best to your budget. The management is really friendly and helpful, especially the manager Anil Kumar. If you are visiting Varkala and looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, do check out Kerala Bamboo house.

This place is pretty basic, but the restrooms are not usable. The rooms don't have A.C , and the washrooms have everything leaking, be it the flush or taps or basin

Polite and helpful staff, Located behind Varkkala beach (less than 50 meters), reasonable price. Overall a nice experience. Car parking facility available.
