Around 5 minutes walk”

Only around 5 minutes walk from Namba station and Dotonburi. I can't ask for more. what I need already there. Need to go anywhere in Osaka, every stairs to subway is only 2-3 minutes walk. looking for food? Namba area have plenty. I even get a chance to ate at Enya. Found it from google that Enya is one of the best yakitori place in Namba, and it is. Walk another 3 minutes, you will be at Dotonburi. More and more food at Dotonburi. Don't forget to take pic at Glico man LED billboard. Khaosan World Namba itself comfy enough for me. My mistake only, I reserve the 12 person mix dorm, I'm a bit loud usually when I deal with my stuff like luggage and bag. But the rest...nothing to complaint. The staff is nice and helpful. The girl with long blonde hair (sorry I forgot your name), really help me when I ask for food recommendation around Namba. They have elevator, so no worries with your big/heavy luggage. Other facilities like wifi and sitting area are provided. just in case you need to work (during your holiday). Love from Jakarta, Indonesia.

WE FEEL AT HOME”

We stayed from February 14-17 room 505, weeks prior to our scheduled departure, I emailed them and asked some inquiries, it felt good that the staff responded to my inquiries immediately. Upon check-in, there was no hassle and all the staff are friendly and very accommodating. Upon check-out, we were allowed to put our luggage in their storage area so that we can still roam around Osaka while waiting for our time to go in the airport. Yoshi who once stayed in the Philippines and the Japanese girl with a Filipina beauty (sorry i forgot her name) are very very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend Khaosan World Namba to my friends and families who will travel to Osaka in the future.

Fantastic”

Khaosan World Namba was awesome..the place near namba subway ( around 15 minutes walking) i was stay for 2 nights and choose 4 private room with shared bathrooms. Size for the room was ok..suit for 4 people,not so big..since it's hostel. But good enough. All of staffs very friendly. When i stay there i have an urgent condition that i need an access to internet cafe because we need a laptop or pc to access a website. The staff tell us the direction with so clear and patiently. They are really helpfull Definetely will go back to this hostel when i visit osaka again. Thank You

Excellent hostel, nice staff, good facilities”

The hostel has a very strategic location as it's located just behind the OCAT namba, and just few minutes walk to dotonburi, namba walk, and other good restaurants and shopping malls. Staffs also are very nice and speak English well. The facilities in the property are also good with big kitchen, lounge room, and showers room in every floor. The only a little disappointment is the lack of care from other guests that sometimes leave trash in the kitchen sink, or make the toilet so dirty. And the staff didn't change the bedsheet even I stayed there for 7 days, so the bed was dirty and humid. And there is no ventilation in the room, and the air only depends on the air conditioner. Other than those matters, khaosan world namba is a very good place to stay.

We appreciate the warmth of the staff, 10/10 for service, they let us borrow the steam brush and are mindful for the needs of the guests. I will definitely comeback and stay here if I will be going to Osaka. The place is very ideal within the central district and near Dotonbori. Great service, we feel as if we're near home, Yoshi-san and Kurumi-san are speaking Filipino and uses "Po" and "Opo". Very touching for us. Again, Thank you very much Khaosan World Namba! I'll stay there again DEFINITELY”

When traveling alone, it is hard to strike up a conversation with strangers sometimes, but with cheap 100 yen coffee during the day, and awesome drinks at the hostel bar at night with super friendly staff- it's hard NOT to have a great time at Khasan World Namba whiling meeting other travelers. Safe and convenient with automatic locks and codes which are provided at check-in, it was easy to come in and out as I pleased during any time of the night (that's right, no curfew!) Staff spoke great English (rare to find in most hotels or hostels in Japan- yes ・even・ in big cities like Osaka). So close to Namba for those who enjoy drinking, shopping, and eating. And if Japanese food isn't your go to, all kinds of different restaurants are close by without being too close to all the overwhelming people if you just want to be on the sidelines from time to time. Definitely staying here again.

The room little bit dusty”

We had a great time in this hostel, hostel very close to Namba Station.. Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi just around 5 minute walk from hostel, the room was bigger than Photo in website which is good, but little bit dusty everywhere.. No problem for the Toilet, Very worth it for the Price!! We will Definetly come back to Khaosan World!! THANK U

Good value for money”

If you are a budget traveler who just wants simple amenities without the luxuries of a standard hotel Khaosan World Namba is highly recommended. I like that the room we stayed in has it's own sink. The staff is very nice. It is just 3 minutes away by walk from the JR Namba Station which is perfect for tourists who have JR Passes.

My 2nd visit”

I'm already visit this hostel 2 times..this hostel always wonderful.. They price very worth it because of what? They location very near namba and dotonbori.Central of osaka tourist spot.. You can go namba and dotonbori everytime.Which is there are a lot of street food and restaurant that you can visit There is 100 yen too if you want to buy some souvenir for your friend at your hometown.. Thr popular takoyaki you can find at dotonbori and also glico sign.. If you have big luggage or many handcarry and you want an easy access to kansai (don't want stop at many train stop) You can go to osaka bus station exactly behind this hostel..you only need walk 5 minutes.. This bus cost you 1500 yen,and you only need seat and enjoy your bus Will be stay at this hostel again if i visit osaka again..

Not bad option for groups travel”

Stayed for the second time in Khaosan World Namba with friends, room is big enough for all 3 of us to open the luggage together. Shared shower room is right next to our room, will consider to stay here again.

Perfect Location”

If you're landing to Osaka International airport, Khaosan Namba is only 1 shuttle away. About 5min walk from the bus terminal to the hostel. Close to Dotonbori and Hozenji Temple. Big grocery near by where you could buy fresh food. Also their friendly staffs are worth mentioning. Highly recommended!

Best hotel in the best location in Namba, Osaka”

I booked a room with 6 beds (3 bunk beds) for 6 people, and I would say that I really enjoyed to stay here. The room is quite big (for Osaka or Japan), and quite cheap. It's famous for backpackers or young people. The room is clean, and there is a bathroom inside the room only for SHOWER. If you want to use toilet then there is a shared toilet in each floor, which is CLEAN! But, they separate the toilet for women and men, so for example in my floor, the toilet is for men only, so for women, they have to go upstair or downstair (using lift or just on foot). I would say the location is the strongest selling point of this hotel. It's located in the heart of Namba area, it's near Namba station (I would say the exit nomor 30 is the best, because there is an elevator there, and it is inside the OCAT building. The intercity bus also in the OCAT building, so for those who want to use the intercity bus, you just need to walk less than 300 meter from the hotel!). There are many restaurants near the hotel, like Sukiya (cheap food), and also near Dotonbori. It's a good hotel in the prime location!.

Excellent ”

I loved my stay at Khaosan World! I stayed for four nights, once in a mixed room and three nights in a girl's dorm. *The staff were super friendly and helpful *The place looks nice *Comfortable beds *Best showers, the water pressure was soooo good *The takoyaki parties were way fun and I was able to meet some really cool/nice people that I'm glad I met. *Great location, close to the station and Dotonbori and whatnot. I really have no complaints about this hostel! Totally recommend.

The Best Place To Stay in Namba Area ”

Pros: 1. Huge Room 2. Near Osaka City Airport Terminal (OCAT), 2 minutes walk only. 3. Near JR Namba Station 4. 5 minutes walk to Dotonbori 5. Near to Don Quijote Stores 6. Has common kitchen where you can eat and cook your food. 7. Free coffee, sugar and tea 8. Friendly staffs Cons: No shower or toilet in the room but it is not a big deal for us.

Had the best time at Khaosan Namba! Lovely set up in the room- comfortable bunk beds. They had sinks within each dorm which was super convenient. Showers/toilets were clean. Best location- so easy to walk to Dotonburi!!!! Thanks for the awesome stay

Khaosan World Namba was very convenient for us elderly couple for its very strategic location, it's right next to OCAT bus terminal and Namba Station. The downside is that the dormitory in Khaosan was cramp, could barely move around and guests couldn't be trusted to be honest. We lost a few items from some butter finger sharing the dorm with us.

Great value for money. Really close to Osaka-Namba station and around 10 min walk to Dotonbori (make sure you use the Namba walk, it will cut the walk time!). The staff was really friendly and we felt welcome immediately. There were takoyaki parties during our stay but we sadly kept missing it! Recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! ”

The staff here are absolutely amazing people that really want everyone to have a good time. Khaosan Namba host nightly parties in the bar with different themes which encourages people to meet and socialise. The rooms look modern and are cleaned very regularly. Location is great and close to Dotonbouri. Can't say anything negative at all. 10/10.
