Very good”

Road to resort is bumpy and unlit, but not too far from the main tourist attraction. Room is clean and not many mosquitoes, but toilet bowl get choke occasionally. Breakfast is basic buffet type mainly Thailand cuisine, which is not bad (noodle soup is a must try item). Even at night, there is a restaurant to order food, but not many people dine there though (food is not expensive and nice). There is in house facilities, including mini go-kart and ATV which is fun. There is also a water park, but is not to my children liking though. I think each room free one entry to water park per day and 1 of the ride per day. Do lock door at night because I notice that Thai people drink quite a lot and get drunk. Note that staff know very little English (but it is the same everywhere at Khao Yai). Anyway it's a nice hotel to stay especially with children.

Khaoyai Fantasy Resort is a nice place for family with children as there is playground, water theme park, rides, swimming pool. Children will certainly be attracted with the place. You can spend a day here without planning any itinerary outside. 3 rides and water theme park tickets are included in the resort booking. Breakfast spread is good. Facilities is also good as there are 2 washrooms, 1 with bath tub, 1 with shower type. Staff cannot speak English well but they try their best to understand our needs. Location is quite deep in so it is better you have a driver or self drive. I remember phone reception was quite poor.

No frills resort”

In all i feel that khaoyai isnt a place thats ready for tourist yet. Resort staffs cant quite speak english but tries their very best. We still manage to understand each other end of the day. Rooms are big n clean. Room service food is amazingly delicious! Breakfast also changes everyday which im really surprised. The thai style noodles they hv during bf changes daily n is very delicious too. Being close to nature the pools are a tiny bit dirty but not an issue for us. Theres also a free to use giant float! Waterpark isnt big but its great too! The kids had a great time there. Theres a baby pool wif slide for younger kids and big slide for bigger kids. But no guards so at ur own risk. We also went for Atv, go cart, viking, luge! Staffs are friendly n it was fun to play all these within ur resort vicinity. Rates are reasonable as well. If u're a clean freak best to avoid this place. Its close to nature so theres bound to be dirt n bugs.

A great Resort, but must have Car”

i enjoyed my stay here. the room was very nice and spacious. i had a very comftable sleep and the bathroom was very nice and clean. the surrounding at the breakfast area was beautiful and i think there should be more choices for eat but still ok. you definately need a car and need to know your way round there. its not far away from major khao yai attractions. for the expensive price of baht per night, i think there is somewhere cheaper. however, the staff were friendly and helpful. the reason i decide to stay there was because of the activities they had, but i think it was more suitable for kids.

Pretty much what you can expect for a hotel at Khao Yai. The room at Blue Amazon block is new, big and clean. Few pools and other activities such as go kart and ATV are available too.

The resort for family with kids.”

Khaoyai Fantasy Resort is a small resort, but is convenient for the family with kids. The room there is designed as a cottage which a high ceiling which make us feel relax in the room, and wide space with two separate bath room for shower, and bahttub. Our kid feel very happy staying in this cottage including the older adults. The Resort though is small , but provide many a outside actitivites for the family to have fun and we dont't need to go to any other place. The actitvies like ATV car, Cable Car, Hill slider, and also small swimming with salt treatment is good for the childern. You can also have food at the Resort restaurant. The taste is good and lots of choices there.

A theme park and yet a hotel ”

The location is quite rural. Perhaps u need such rural place a provide a huge land to build a park. The activities is suitable for kids. The entrance to the water park, sky chair, cable car is FOC for hotel guest. My kids do enjoy with the water park. The room is clean and the most impressive is they have 2 shower room, one of it is with a big bath tub. Breakfast is combination of Thai food and western. Considering with the price of the room, the breakfast variety and quality can be consider superb. However, I would suggest return to hotel before sky turn dark. U may pack some food from the pak chong night market as supper. Both of the road to the resort is dark and narrow.

We booked 2 family deluxe rooms The room n toilet are well maintained. There are many activities which both kids and adults can enjoy....just not enough time as we spent more time exploring Khao Yai. Location is rather inconvenient n definitely need transport. Staff service is passable due to communication barrier as many unable to understand simple English.

A very relaxing stay in a quiet environment.”

Despite what other reports have said, the resort is well signposted and we had no problems finding it. We were pleased to see that the room was veryclean and large compared to most hotel rooms, and there was one bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, and another room with a large bath. The pool was very clean and we used it every day. Breakfast was adequate and other food came quickly via room service. If you have your own transport, the resort is well placed only 10-15 km. from the national park entrance. My only complaint would be that the free activity tickets only applied to 2 minor rides and the others were a bit expensive. Whilst we were there a large pool with slides was under construction and should be finished shortly. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Good for kids”

we stayed here for 4 days with our 3 small kids. first, we book 1 room and one extra bed but as the quality of extra bed is not good then we decided to take one more room and hotel charge us 10 usd more expensive than price of agoda:-) hotel is clean, nature. there are a lot of activities for kids and even adult can joy like sky jump, k-ting... each room has 2 free tickets per day to enjoy games. room are big, clean with 2 bathrooms. the nature of hotel is great, staffs are nice but no english. hotel close to magiccave, chokchai farm and is not so far from national park so there are a lot of thing to do. swimming pool is small (i think it is only for kids ) but as it is not hot in there, therefore the water is cold. food is soso and it takes a long time to got your food. breakfast is only american style. however, we had a good time there.

Deserted fun park camp”

We were first time traveler to Khao Yai region. It was a challenge to get to the hotel. You definitely need your own car with GPS. Despite the preparation, we still took a few wrong turns on the way to hotel. From bangkok, you need to take a U turn at the fast lane of a highway to the fast lane of the opposite side. Then turn left to a small lane and go through rough paths with pits for a few km among fields to reach the resort. The most spectacular feature of the resort was the entrance sign. Otherwise, evertthing was very basic and just reach minimum requirement. There was almost nobody except us and another family during the weekday. We did not see anybody who played at the incorporated game fields. We needed to call staff to turn on the sky cable and sky chair to play our complimentary rounds with the stay. Though it's fun enough for our little 7 yr old. Breakfast was simple set on weekdays and buffet style with the same food on greater amount on weekend. The camp like room was very spacious and clean. There were two bathrooms but the one with a tub did not have hot water supply and useless. The resort is close to Palio, outlets and Farm Chokchai, which were our main destinations. But getting back to hotel after dark needs extra care with no light. I would choose other resorts on main road if we travel to Khaoyai next time.

none of the hotel staff could speak english so the communication was very poor. the hotel is aimed for young thais that arrive for weekends. breakfast was poor and bad. the room, although new, was badly maitained with rust under the sink, dripping water and non-functioning taps. the room was very spacious and could accomodate all our family (parents + 4 children). the hotel is very remote from khao yai national park (30 min. drive). the coupons for the activitied apply only to two basic attractions and the other activities are over-charged.

Hotel that you can spend a day or two in here ”

Booked in family suite that could fit in 7 or more people. Very spacious and clean house with direct access to the kid pool. Hotel free plenty activities for their guest eg, Flying fox, shy chair, cable car and water theme park. Other activites like go cart or ATV are payable for 100THB only. Hotel breakfast are delicious. However, there are not proper swimming pool and gym room for adult.

Lovely hotel with very spacious room and toilet”

This is a very beautiful resort that is new and well maintained. The exterior of the resort room has got flowers and bench for you to enjoy the sun. The air here is really fresh. The room are extremely spacious! The showering toilet and bathtub are separated. It is very clean as well. There are many activities that you can do at the resort. Breakfast was good too. Overall, I highly recommend this resort to anyone that is looking to take a break from the fast paced city life.

Nice and Clean Resort”

The resort is located deep inside the small road ( 3-4 km from the main road). Difficult to access if you don't have your own Transportation. Beautiful resort, great location just down small hill. They have fun activities for all age groups. Room very spacious, clean and well maintained.

Fun family outdoor activities ”

The location of the resort is quite rural hence recommend to find the way before dark. Our driver missed a few junctions to turn in the main road end up we trapped in the jungle to find way out without any street lights. Suggest to put up more signage along the way in English or logo for easy reference. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. We spent an additional one day to play in the resort before check out. My kids love the activities. Breakfast range are very localised so foreigner can try the local taste.

Great family fun resort ”

We all enjoyed the stay at the resort, and will probably go back next year for a short stay, during our annual holiday in Thailand. The food and service was very good, rooms were clean and ample for our needs.

Activities to do”

This is a nice resort. The connecting water park is good for younger kids. Older kids will be board after a while. The 2 water slides are really slow even though they are long. The resort has other activities that will entertain. Go karting, ATV rides. Tram Rides etc... all for a reasonable price. The rooms provides the basic necessities. The good thing is every room seems to be it’s own building. Breakfast was better than expected. During our stay they had a personal barista making fresh coffee and drinks.

Great venu for kids. Plenty of activities to keep them busy during the day. A must visit resort if you have children and are travelling to the north east part of Thailand.
