The Touch star exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly, providing maps and directions to the major falls in the area, and the place was clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked well as did the cold and hot water. One criticism would be the breakfast. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the eggs or the mayonnaise they drenched the salad with. The mosquitoes were especially bad at the restaurant but that was to be expected up in the mountains. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay and I'd recommend staying here while visiting Doi Inthanon.

Great underrated hotel in a perfect location! We were almost alone there, lovely high standard bungalows with greatest shower ever, nice garden, frogs and cicadas singing all around. The only downside was the oriental breakfast - good soup, but us farangs would have preferred a croissant or toast at this hour. We got that and good coffee in the Inthanon Cafe at the gas station in Chom Thong town.

Well situated about 1km from the Doi Inthanon national park entrance. The resort was immaculate. The cabin I stayed in was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The breakfast was very good. I ate at the restaurant one night, also very good. There's many local eateries selling the usual fair. The resort is quiet and the staff helpful. All in all I had a great time here. I looked at some of the reviews which were less than glowing and find some of them very unfair. How anyone can mark the place down because its not in the middle of Chiang Mai is incredible!

The small farm resort is really well designed and laid out. The country western theme is really great. The rooms are in the same style and are very nice. The interaction with the animals was a real treat for our kids. The staff was very accommodating, even with the language barrier. We even went into a nearby town and bought apples and carrots to feed the horses, cows and goats on our last morning. Sometimes you have to be proactive to increase your interactions with the animals. Being big animal people, we felt there was a little more care and attention (TLC) that could be given towards the animals. But overall, the animals are generally in good health and happy to be around us. Location is perfect as it is just outside the entrance to Doi Inthanon. Highly recommend this sight for families with young kids. We stayed 2 nights, which was plenty.
