Great resort with great employees.”

A Top Class resort. Although the Khao Yai area is not a true tourist destination, meaning there is not much to do outside of the resort, the Kirimaya Resort more than makes up for it. Their employees are their greatest asset! Never once did they say, NO or Not Allowed. They bend over backwards to meet your needs or expectations. Breakfast is included with the rooms and the bountiful buffet is outstanding. The massages we received at the Spa and the Spa itself were very, very good. The Jack Nicholos designed golf course is a great test for a golfer. Beautiful and truly aligned with nature. Lots of water, sand, reeds, weeds, water lilies. You must think carefully before you swing. The only shortcomings were the lack of a driving range and the lack of sufficient sand in the bunker by the 9th green. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The DeLonghi single serve coffee makers that utilize the coffee pods are a welcoming invitation to jump out of bed. We sipped our coffee overlooking the pool and the golf course early each morning when everything was still wet with dew. It made us feel really alive.

Kirimaya”

Kirimaya resort is a beautifull hotel just outside Khao Yai national park. The resort is small, only about 60 rooms. The design of the hotel and the facilities is top notch. There is a wonderfull spa, a beautifull golf course. The staff is very attentive, of course while we ere there they had very few guests in house so it was like staying at our private resort. They are building homesites & townhouses and the resort is subsidized by the sales.

Kirimaya Golf Resort”

We had a very enjoyable stay at Kirimaya Golf Resort. The climate is very good and much cooler than the surrounding area. The rooms are very comfortable and equipped to a high standard. It is very easy to relax at Kirimaya and forget about what else is going on in the world. Kirimaya is also very close to Khao Yai National Park and not too far to visit various vineyards around the area, which produce very good Thai wine.

A five star experience 3 hours north of Bangkok”

My stay at the Kirimaya was superb. A relaxing and tranquil setting which is a welcome relief from the traffic and fast pace of Bangkok. On the north edge of the Khao Yai National Park the facility provides a true five star experience. Prices are reasonable and the staff some of the finest you will find in the hospitality industry - clearly well trained and motivated to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you do not have your own transport you are limited to the two restaurants on the grounds: A Japanese/Italian restaurant overlooking the large pool at the main building of the Muthi Maya (sister facility) and a Thai restaurant next to the golf course club house. Food is good although the portions are a bit small.

Treated like a royalty.”

There are 300 staffs to serve 120 rooms ( Kirimaya and Muthimaya) , so you can imagine they really intend to spoil us. We could feel the great hospitality from the first step we entered the hotel. The staff is very polite. The room is spacious. The balcony or I should say terras is big and very comfortable. There a whole set of strange and very comfortable pillows. The pool is beautiful. The Thai restaurant is really good and not expensive compare to the restaurants similar class. On the last night we were lucky got upgraded to the pool villa which they claim to be the 7th romantic hotel in the world. We enjoy everything. The sight seeing tours provided by the hotel are pricy. You may contact the Khao Yai national park directly for much cheaper prices. The hotel is very quiet. Good for relaxing.

Amazing resort in the middle of the nature”

This review is actually about the sister hotel Muthi Maya right next to Kirimaya. We booked a mountain view room in Kirimaya but it was closed for renovation for 10 days (altough it was available for booking on Agoda?). Either way once we arrived we were told that we got moved to the Muthi Maya (which I wanted to book in the first place) but it was double the price. We were basically upgraded from a mountain view standard room in Kirimaya to the Pool Villas in Muthi Maya. This place was amazing!! So much privacy and space in the room was simply amazing. We didnt really order room service but there was a daily cmplimentary refill of coffe capsules, soft drinks, snacks and more. The restaurant in the resort was a bit pricy so we only ate there once. There is a great steak house and thai restaurant just outside the resort. On other days we went to the Kkao Yai National Park and Wineries which were really close by. All in all this was a great stay and i can definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Napa Valley in the Kingdom of smiles”

Very seldom can one find spectacular design situated in a location of natural beauty at an affordable cost for the average person. Kirimaya accomplishes this when you buy on discount from Agoda. We were there to explore Khao Yai National Park, but it was difficult to leave the hotel. The breakfast buffet was equal to or maybe the best of any 5 star b-buffet i've had. The dinner is exclusively Thai cuisine, but excellent. The ultimate get-a-way from the concrete and traffic of Bangkok, golf or no golf.

Luxury hotel in the heart of Khao Yai”

We had one of the Plantation View rooms with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The view was lovely and the room excellent. The staff here were very attentive and helpful at all times. Although we only spent one night at Kirimaya I would recommend this hotel to other guests. Its in a great location too, in the heart of Khao Yai so if you're planning on sightseeing to places such as Palio, the various vineyards or to Khao Yai National Park itself, then this is a great place to stay.

Very relaxing stay in wonderful resort”

We had a lovely stay at the Kirimaya resort. After a quick check-in and an upgrade, we got to enjoy a very spacious room with two lovely balconies overlooking the pool and the beautiful surroundings. The resort has a really good Thai restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff with a very good knowledge of English. The resort is close to the entrance of the Khao Yai national park.

Top Quality Hotel and Golf Course”

this was my second stay at kirimaya. i very rarely return to hotels but i enjoyed my first stay so much that i returned and will return again. the turn off to the hotel is about 100 metres from the northern entrance to khao yai and anout 5km further. the welcome and service is first class and genuine. the rooms are comfortable with the balcony worthy of special note. i had not had time to play golf last time but did this and was not disappointed. the course was in excllent condition in spite of the rainy time of year and kept your interest in every shot. i have played golf worldwide and would definitely rate this in my top 20 experiences. dinner isnt cheap by thai standards but the quality is excellent

Perfect location for Khao Yai”

This is a very attractive hotel with a good restaurant and excellent staff. It's less than a 10 minute drive to the entrance to Khao Yai National Park and the hotel grounds are very scenic as it's on a golf course. Drinks were a bit pricey compared to other Thai hotels but that's to be expected at a 5 star resort. Room amenities such as free WiFi and free minibar with soft drinks and snacks were much appreciated. The room balcony was lovely.

Kirimaya - Khao Yai - tented dream”

We had the privilege to stay at the Kirimaya Khao Yai resort for a short stay of two days. We stayed in the famous Tented Villa, which is unprecedented in terms of design, atmosphere and luxury. The complimentary tea-drawn bath is a very special perk. The resort looks out over amazing views of golf course between mountain silhouettes and jungle wetlands. The design of the resort is inspired by nature and creates a feeling of stepping into a hidden sanctuary. It is truly a very beautiful place and I can recommend it to people in search of something special and luxurious.

Nice but beware”

We were looking forward to a peaceful, long weekend getaway at Kirimaya and initial signs on arrival looked good. Beautifully laid out, natural design of hotel/rooms, friendly. Unfortunately within 24 hours the hotel was taken over by what seemed to be two separate wedding functions and as well as this making it a lot busier, some key communal F&B areas were given over to these events. The main restaurant was closed off for Saturday and Sunday all day with day-time meals being served instead at the Golf Clubhouse - this was not as nice and particularly for breakfast had a poorer buffet style instead of a la carte. Got the sense that this is a regular occurence as Kirimaya is a popular weekend destination for Bangkokians and they just don't have sufficiently sized F&B space to properly accommodate everyone. This unfortunately meant we felt like outsiders shoved to one side and ended up leaving a day early - disappointing. Additionally, whilst the main restaurant building was nicely designed in an open plan layout it was not good from a practical point of view. Each time it rained (and it can rain a fair bit in the Khao Yai National Park), about 70% of the seating areas get wet as they are not under cover. This results in guests rushing for the dry tables whilst staff hurriedly retrieve their food and pull plastic covers over the exposed seating. The night we were able to eat there, the management had also taken the decision to lay on an extensive Japanese buffet which no one ate and once the rain came it was completely washed out. Again the spectacle of staff rushing to save food/gather everything in and this completely threw their guest service. Poor management decisions on a number of levels - sadly, I doubt we'll return.

Great hotel by lush green Khao Yai”

Very nice and unique hotel by the lush green Khao Yai National Park. Definitely feel like staying in Khao Yai National Park itself (especially in the residence and pool villa area). There are still lots of green and peaceful area preserved for outdoor activities i.e. jogging, cycling, golfing,..etc. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel have good location with facilities, golf course and first class in-room amenities. Room size is too small compare to the size of the resort, room rate is rather high comparing other hotels and same grade hotels in other location. It's recommended for tourists who seek hotel with privacy, next to Khao Yai National Park. Highly recommend if price is not a problem. Most of staff are friendly and well serviced.

Relaxing Retreat”

Kirimaya is the nicest resort of the several where I have stayed in Khao Yai. Our plantation view room looked out across the pool and golf course. The day bed on the balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the resort. Dinner in the Thai restaurant and breakfast at the Golf Club were tasty. We will look for an opportunity to return.

Worth the price”

after we checked in, the resort itself made us change our plan for the rest of the day. we were happy to stay watching movie in the room(i connected my laptop with flat screen tv via vga), enjoyed the afternoon tea, and decided to have a dinner at japanese-italian restaurant in mutimaya. the restaurant is nice and has a romantic mountain view which might be a better than our first option(the smoke house nearby~too crowded). the food is as good as some fine restaurant in bangkok.all the staffs are very friendly and one even let me drive his golf car.the breakfast is ok, a hotel standard. this resort is one of the top-tier hotel in khao yai which surely the rate might be pricier than others. but definitely worth the price

One of the best place in the world.”

Attentive staff. Tho not very professional I would say. English is not very good. But they are trying their best to make ur stay enjoyable. The food is amazing. I try the Thai and Italian restaurant. Amazing food. So fresh! The best I had ever have. Better than most of the restaurant in HK. The room is small. But comfortable. Haven't tried the spa. Should try it next time. The golf course is cheap here. Rent a car to the national park. 2500 bath arranged by the hotel. Whole day with driver. Nothing much to see in khao yai national park actually. Even for a nature lover like me. Back to hotel by noon. Will come back next tjme. Too bad golf is not my thing. But just relax at the pool. Having good food, good music, good wine is enough for the stay.

Lovely, peaceful resort with attentive staff”

I went to Khao Yai to look for a second home and decided to try out the Kirimaya. It's a lovely, peaceful resort. I'm not into golf - at all - so not to worry, non-golfers. Not only are the rooms comfortable, the staff are great. They made me feel very welcome without being overbearing. Though my room was lovely, with a nice, deep balcony, I did not have much of a "horizon" to view.

Short Holiday Getaway at Kirimaya”

The whole trip was fantatic. I was there on a Sunday-Tuesday so not so many people around. The place is calm, quiet, and relaxing. Staff was very nice, polite, and helpful. Food was great and we could choose from different kind of food (Thai, Int'l, etc.) The only thing that caused some mild dissatisfaction was the noise from the construction site next to Bldg. 5. It is on the adjacent piece of land for another resort not owned by Kirimaya. So, they couldn't do anything about it. It was not too loud and was only during the daytime, though. I'd recommend it to anyone going to Khao Yai.
